I gave it to Mendy for making impressive six saves. Also, Ronaldo got brace and made the list, therefore Lukaku should be there, or do you think Ronaldo in anyway outperformed Lukaku over the weekend?

It's hard to compare if they are in different positions. I think they will prefer to choose by position category. But if only this option I would choose C.Ronaldo. My reason was because he was cohesive and immediately scored 2 goals. In addition, because he is not young anymore, but can play great. Maybe Bruno Fernandes can be another player of choice, he is performing well and being the top scorer in the EPL

Maybe Ronaldo will be the most fertile player in the EPL because he has scored two goals in his first match, but well in terms of position, especially when Ronaldo has a striker, Ronaldo will still outperform Lukaku, who is currently equally brilliant.
Edouard Mendy is the best goalkeeper I know with impressive saves and always clears difficult balls so this will be the best category among goalkeepers.

Lukaku and Ronaldo they are just great. They can adapt to any situation and with any team. I would say Chelsea played well against Zenit. This is a Champions League match, here they have to perform very carefully. If Chelsea was playing attacking, and If Chelsea had conceded a goal in a counter-attack, the match would have been drawn and Chelsea would have lost points. It felt good to me to win 1-0.

I do agree with the champions league part. We have seen a team with Messi-Neymar-Mbappe trio at the front fail to score properly against clube brugge, that should show you how hard it is to play in UCL. Everyone is expecting them to win the whole cup, but they are failing against Brugge. All in all Chelsea at least managed to get 3 points and that matters a lot for them.

A coach is also important in Lukaku's role at Chelsea and is easy to adapt so he can score goals easily, since Lukaku at Inter Milan played well maybe it was the start of his career to be brilliant so don't be surprised when he returns to the EPL he will not hesitate because he played a few games his previous season with Manchester United.

I don't know the criteria for comparing Ronaldo and Mendy but in this condition I think Ronaldo will be superior even if you look at Ronaldo's age he is not young anymore but Ronaldo's productivity I don't think needs to be questioned because he is very productive especially at the beginning this season and scoring a brace in his premiere debut and 1 goal in the Champions League is proof that he is still prolific.
Mendy is a good young player but I don't think now is the time for him to shine when faced with Ronaldo, but it would be a different story if it wasn't Ronaldo.

We are starting the new match week with the Newcastle v Leeds match. Leeds are the favorite team there I think. They both have been terrible so far actually. Newcastle were destroyed by Manchester United by a 4-1 score and Liverpool defeated Leeds 3-0 easily also. It will be a great opportunity for both teams to get their first win. Leeds beat them in their last two head-to-heads in this league. Maybe they will maintain this dominance.

For the game against Tottenham,I think Tottenham will have no choice but to give them the three points.Chelsea have a complete squad.they have a striker that can score from 18-29 goals every season. My prediction for that game is  Chelsea winning 2-1.
