We are entering the match week with an awesome game:  Manchester City vs Arsenal.

Manchester City couldn't break a leg against Tottenham and they had a bad start to the season. But in their next game against Norwich, they literally demolished them 5-0. It was a productive day for Gabriel Jesus also (2 assists). Now, they will want to destroy their next opponent, Arsenal. On the other hand, Arsenal had a terrible start. First, they were defeated by Brentford 2-0 and after that they were destroyed by Chelsea home 2-0. In the absence of their best forwards (Aubameyang and Lacazette) they had a serious difficulty in scoring goals.

Manchester City have the psychological dominance over Arsenal now considering the last head-to-heads. I think that they will not have much problem and they will manage to win this game by 2 goals at least.

I thought I was looking at the wrong match but no the odds for Chelse on 1x2 is really low at under 0.3 while Arsenal is at over 10. This is one of the few matches where it's more fun to take a chance at the handicaps and other specials hehe.

...In the absence of their best forwards (Aubameyang and Lacazette) they had a serious difficulty in scoring goals.

I'm afraid they will continue to struggle and remain goalless.

And I see in the head-to-head games that Manchester City have a really good dominance against Arsenal. In their last 5 head-to-head games, City defeated them 4 times. Now, I think that it is going to be an easy game for City as Arsenal are still having big in-team problems.

I personally don't agree about that for now because Arsenal are just a mediocre team that is not dangerous at all, playing away against City will only make Arsenal worse and worse and faster steps should be taken to replace Arteta. So far Arteta has been given a chance but I'm sure that in the near future Arteta will certainly be sacked, maybe that sounds cruel but that's what should be done. If you look at how other coaches have been sacked like Mou, Lampard and many others, at least the team they manage is still in a good position in the standings, in contrast to Arsenal, which has been destroyed and should have moved faster for a change.

Honestly it seems I will miss the match, previously it could be said that the match between arsenal vs manchester city was a big match to look forward to, but now this match will only be a massacre for arsenal by  other teams to get points, especially manchester city which is the defending champion the english premier league will certainly take advantage of arsenal current bad situation and in my opinion, arsenal current performance is very bad from the previous season, even they have lost their first two English premier league games against brentford and chelsea, i think this season arsenal will be a successful team scored a hat-trick of defeats at the start of the Premier League competition .

Easy on that. Arsenal's gonna be a tough opponent for the citizens considering we're still at the very beginning of the season and the teams still need some time to reach their 100%. So it's not only about the best forwards but rather an overall team effort to compete with ManCity. In terms of betting that's an over 2,5 goals for sure or maybe both teams to score.

Agreed, Lukaku vs Van Dijk will be an amazing battle to watch. I think that Van Dijk is physically strong enough to stop him both in air and on the ground and overall I still feel Liverpool is a better team when they have their strongest team at their disposal.

I would have been a lot more scared of Chelsea if they brought Haaland, Lukaku is a beast but players like Werner and Havertz would have a better chemistry and offensive flow with a player who's a bit more technical than Lukaku. Him and Werner combining - that will be a major issue for Chelsea.

I read that Virgil has not had the best games since coming back in the early EPL 2 games so he will probably be quite nervous to make sure he impresses. It is always so hard to come back from an injury so bad it puts you out for an entire season + the EURO so I hope he is back to his best. So we can see Lukaku and Virgil show us what giants in offence and defence look!

Van Dijk is playing decent IMO and right now he is playing a decent role in CB and not pushing him too hard I suppose and that is doing enough job. Now Lukaku vs Van Dijk is a debate that I thought would come after end of this gameweek and going over it I ask- What does it take to handle Lukaku? We all saw the first game and I honestly think Lukaku in the PL needs to have some pace. Question is who reacts quick to one's move. IMO Van Dijk has great awareness and great reading of the opponents plays. I think Van Dijk would be ready with all the deliveries being done from wing-backs to inside for Lukaku to throw in some shots off header or Lukaku receiving the ball and trying to find some room to slot in some shots. I feel like Van Dijk and his defense line would be ready for Blues attacks in the next match.

Manchester City is too strong for Arsenal, if we look at the last 6 matches, of Arsenal, Gunner have never won a game, only getting 1 draw against Rangers. From these results, of course, it will also makes the mentality and self-confidence of Arsenal players down. With these conditions, City will easily maximize the rhythm of the game to get 3 points.

Yeah this game is in the hand of man city there is a big difference in performance and in players quality arsenal players seem lost and they dont have a good striker to put the ball in the net plus a very weak defense they could not score a single goal and they conceided 4 and i think they will conceid a lot more against city.

Good first appearance for Brandon Williams, I thought he was a Manchester United player but I heard that Brandon Williams has been loaned to Norwich. Looks like he's outmatched by Luke Shaw, and Alex Telles. He is still young, he still has long term progress.

Chelsea flop Michy Batshuayi was a beast in Dotmund during his loan term, scoring seven goals in nine league games, but he couldn't hold the ball in the Premier League. Chelsea demanded and received a world-class striker. Halaaad is not a world-class striker, but he is a talented youngster who can score goals with huge market price.

Man said Haaland is more skillful and faster than Lukaku that's an insult to Beguim goat. Lukakau has proven himself In EPL (114 goals) Serie A ( 49 goals) National team (78 goals)


Chelsea play 433 and Werner will always operate from the Wing so no problem at all.

You should start reading a bit better

First of all, you are saying what - that Haaland is overrated? Because Bundesliga is a bad league? Is Lewandovski overrated then as well?
I don't watch youtube. I watch football and it is really clear to see that Haaland is a superstar in the making. Lukaku is a great player as well so I don't see your point in arguing that.

They do have different playstyles and I do think Chelsea would be more dangerous with Kane/Haaland than with Lukaku. Werner playing on the wing in 433 is exactly the reason why - because both Haaland and Kane would be able to link up with him better than Lukaku will be able to. He will hold up the ball and pass to Werner, which he will not be able to use. He needs balls behind defensive line, not in his feet.

3-3? It is a really brave prediction.    I don't think that any of these teams will have any problem on scoring. I don't expect a defensive play from any side. But I'm not sure whether we can see 6 goals in this match. If it ends in a draw, I think that it would be 1-1 or 2-2. In short, Chelsea will get at least one point here in my opinion.

This is the hottest match of the week that's for sure. Each of them are expected to fight for the EPL title this season. In Anfield, Chelsea have really much work to do. Liverpool have a good advantage here. But as Chelsea are much more different than before with Tuchel, they like to get surprising results. Maybe the majority of people will expect Liverpool to win this. But I'm not in the majority and I don't think that Chelsea will lose this.

No mate!! I mentioned how flop attackers always do well in the Bundesliga, and how Werner was scoring goals for pleasure in that lousy league; I will not rank Halaand until he departs for a better league.

 And yes I said Halaand is a potential youngster but he is not on Lukaku level just yet,

This is just your opinion, and for your information, Lukaku is a better team player than Hala, as evidenced by his assist total last season. I'll just listen to the Manager's opinion.

The present squad are a bit young players whose strength and tactics coupled with inexperience might not match that of other clubs with experienced players like Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool etc. From my own perspective or point of view, we shouldn't be expecting any great result this season from Arsenal, of course Man City will beat them this weekend however, once their youngsters gain much experience in the league this season, afterward they will become a force to reckon invariably become a strong team, they are in a rebuilding process, however I expect them to beat other EPL clubs apart from the big clubs.
