Why do you seem to underestimate EFL Cup? It is surely an important competition, no team should consider it is an unnecessary title to win. I am sure if Man United management targets to win this EFL title as well. If Ole put many reserve players today, doesn't mean they are not serious to win it. The coach must be wise to give all players enough time to play. Because of EFL CUP title isn't the main target, reserve players deserve to give more chances to play.

Its all about priority, using reserve players means that this competition is not the main priority of Man United. It is important competition, but for different purpose as what you said "to give reserve players more chances to play".

What a disappointing score in Old Trafford. I think this is a sign that it's time for Ole gunner to leave. His tactics are not working and the red devils are too big a club for his experiments. He should just leave!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you think that if Ole leaves then Man United will be much more better? There is no guarantee, do you remember how long Alex Ferguson need to struggle before Man United achieved their best moment? It is reasonable if fans want to see their lovely team win in all matches, but real fans should also understand that there is no instant achievement.

that's how i see it too - for the ambitions the club has, the current coach O. Solskjaer hasn't really achieved that much in the almost 3 years he's been here (last season vice champion in the epl and lost the europa league final 2021 against fc villarreal)

Chelsea are going to play a huge home game against Manchester City in only two days. This is the game that I'm excited about the most this weekend. Chelsea's recent performance and effort impress me a lot. They are the best team in the league so far I think. Because they are very consistent when it comes to defense and offense both. Even though City are a little more inconsistent they are still very deadly when it comes to offense. But they are already aware that they have been struggling against Chelsea lately. And they must be well-prepared against Tuchel's system to get a win this time. But I think that there is no way City are winning this one. Yes, it doesn't matter much for especially Chelsea.    Because Chelsea defeated City away in their last two head-to-head matches. And they won their last home match also. City are going to play a really tough match against them. But of course, both of these teams are the favourites for the league title. Let's see if City's unlucky streak will continue after this match also.

I agree with what you said, although now both teams are in good form but I think chelsea has a big chance to win this match, apart from acting as the host, in this case chelsea is more dominant than menchester city in their last few meetings , I think with the team current performance, this match will be the perfect opportunity for Chelsea to beat Manchester City again, and prove their worth as the strongest candidate for the Premier League title this season.

If it is in regards to yesterday's result, i dont know what to say on that. Because It has been the case for a long time. Something is lacking. Other big teams rotate players and the result is never in doubt. That just doesn't happen at Man United for some reason. So if you play well and end up losing it means nothing. You're knocked out of the cup at the first hurdle. Every time there is a team rotation Man United don't win but other title challengers do so convincingly. So playing good only for most of the game is not good enough under any circumstances. This is a result game.

I think Tuchel has important role with it. About the match, it is not easy to predict but I don't think Chelsea will win it. I don't think that most of the fans are very unhappy with the result also.

If you are a real fan, you must be disappointed. You must expect that Man United can win easily against a weaker team. Also, the loss today makes fans a bit afraid about the performance of Man United in the next matches. Moreover, there is no Ronaldo and Pogba on the squad today. I think they can play as substitution players if the starting players are difficult to score.

A sweet revenge taken by West Ham. West Ham just showed Manchester United the door to leave. However, don't you think Manchester United defeats look very normal, and they get knocked out, just like Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and others, as the majority of key players don't play in these competitions! Martial current performance is quite apprehensive and he can't make a big contribution to Manchester United, so it's only natural that Manchester United will sell him in January.
 I think right now the chances for Martial to playing will be very small, especially after the arrival of Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo.
