In business POV, its a pretty bad investment when you purchase some investment for considerably a huge amount then spend another huge amount just to start the business only to get minimum return from it. The new owner probably already shaking their heads right now thinking that purchasing Newcastle was a bad decision lol

On the contrary, i think the new owners of the club knew exactly what they were buying before they did. They must have made analysis and must have had it at the back of their minds that this investment is not immediately going to pay off but after a while. So it's no bad decision yet until at a set date when ROI is measured and it doesn't meet up with what they must have estimated. They certainly knew as well that they will need to spend money on getting new players.

So agree with you, we know the new owner is not an ordinary person he is already known in various lines of business he has a team of advisors and a team of observers of course they have made all these efforts before deciding to buy Newcastle surely our perspective is not the same as theirs. We'll see next season how Newcastle transition.

their absence in European competition should have made them more focused on improving the rankings in EPL.

That's true! But an interesting thing about England is that although the Champions League is something good and important, most fans don't care much about the Champions League. For them the most important thing is the result of the team against other English clubs. Of course one thing ends up implying the other, because if you're a winning club, you're at the top of the table. But what happened to Arsenal was having settled down, now they have a bigger journey to do to get back to being a top club.

Newcastle United took the lead but could not maintain the lead and lost at home. Tottenham continued to rise with this result. Both Kane and Son managed to score.
Chelsea are leading the week. Manchester United was the loser of the week. While they were losing, all their rivals managed to win their matches. Arsenal have not played yet, as they are not in European competitions, Monday and Friday matches in Premier League are always written to them.

Making good use of them chances and absent in any of the European competitions,I'm actually talking about the Gunner's, it should be a sure three points for the home side if the manger strategies and formation will work out at the end of the day for him.
Can Arsenal get a win today ? Likely but Patrick viera's team can still hurt Arsenal.

I wish football was as easy as recapitalization of the club and results are seen the following day,but this is far from reality.  But of course Newcastle is expected to be a more competitive club after this then they are today. And because positive results will be what the new owners will want to see,I fear for players that have grown with the club as the club will be importing new talents away from the club.

Looking at Newcastle United current standings after 8 matches, I believe if there were no financial fair constraints they would have immediately bought some star players when the transfer window opened. because every rich team will do whatever it wants to improve performance without thinking about the cost and many rich teams have achieved instant success by practicing star player expense.
and it is unlikely that a player who grew up with the team will be retained unless he is someone who is loved by the fans and has great talent

Bad results, I agree with you. Ole should be able to use all the players well. I watched him from the first time I coached United. He always got the players he wanted, but he wasn't able to produce good results. This year if I become a shareholder member in MU management I will propose an evaluation for him. But it seems in some media that Ole will continue to coach Manchester United, so his condition is still safe to this day.

What Man United really needs right now is a new coach, a new coach who can really develop the potential of all Man United players, and maybe they need a new captain too, a leader who can direct his teammates on the field, so they can become a solid team.

Newcastle now has a lot of money. But they can't take star players in the team if they want to. No star player is interested in joining a team who is in the relegation zone. At the same time, there is no reason to think that only adding good players to the squad will improve their performance. Their coach Steve Bruce is not very experienced. Newcastle now need experienced coaches and experienced players at the same time.

However, Leicester took advantage of that, pressed very far up, which made defenders in United to not know what they should do. Moyes outclassed Benitez once again after a very a very impressive gameplay, Benitez has lot of work to do in the next transfer market, his midfield is very weak, I know he is thinking of someone to get in who will stand as his macharano or Alonso in midfield. Westham dominant them in that area and I think the game was won there,and the lost of there two main striker didn't help matters.

Everton vs West Ham is a very interesting game for this week, this is a classic battle top coach strategy, We know Benitez for a long time ago, he brings Liverpool a winner Champions league, but this time his strategy is not good for the team, he lost at home. several times they failed in the penalty box, Alex Iwobi is very bad, he got many wasted opportunities but can't finish it. this is a bad strategy also for Benitez, he should have been replaced earlier not on 10 minutes left.

Everton vs Westham was one of the most interesting match for me this weekend. The two teams gave a good match. They played well but the better team took the day. Westham was very good at the match, if Everton was as weak as being portrayed here, it would have been 3goals to nil. Even Everton was more organised in the box, what they really lacked was a fine finisher. And I prefer Gray when he plays from the right wing. Maybe some little re-decisions can give the team a better result next time.

Newcastle 2 - 3 Spurs, I find it personally an interesting result, at least they scored 2 (1 OG well) goals and ended up with a 1 goal difference defeat. Meanwhile they are getting deep in the relegation zone. The oily money might save them next mid-season but it will be a harder mission if they continue their free fall.

It will be as funny as possible if the team leaves the EPL. I imagine the shock of the new owners who, when acquiring an EPL team, were thinking about how to get into the Champions League and build their strategy to win the championship, instead of it will get 1st league team and having to decide how to return to the EPL  Unfortunately, such a scenario is unlikely, but you must admit it would be super funny.

Haha. That's epic. No European football almost like every other mid to lower tier teams. Arsenal has a long way to go on their road to recovery. As for Newcastle, I wasn't expecting any quick results from Newcastle since their change in ownership. Newcastle even tried, I didn't expect them to play much after that red card. They need to reduce how fast they commit those fouls.

Nothing changed really in their team so I think nobody expected anything to be different after that, it takes time and transfers for change to be noticed in the team and their performance, Newcastle still does not have what it takes to battle and compete with big team, we might see some transfers this winter or maybe until next year so that they can bring some interesting players to their squad.

Just curious how the new owner feeling after the loss. maybe they have a sudden meeting to change a coach or prepare to make the list to buy a lot of players at winter windows transfer. So far Tottenham playing well, Son's enough productive than Kane, with 4 goals in 8 matches, while Kane only has 1 goal atm. I like the uniform, looks comfortable when compared with green grass on the fields.

I can't wait to see the performance of my favorite team (arsenal) playing today after the international break, I hope that arsenal will be able to beat crystal palace at the emirates stadium today and get full points to be able to improve their position in the standings, if they win in that match will automatically make arsenal rise to rank 9 standings.

Taking Crystal Palace to win seems a bit wild @5.00 but its actually a far decent odds to go with a small stake rather than taking Arsenal only at @1.70. I agree, it seems so far Leicester City's pattern of play is to follow the quality of the opponents. And that was proven when they beat MU with a pretty astonishing score. Crystal Palace may be more productive in scoring goals. but Arsenal is better at getting points.
indeed in placing bets for Crystal Palace's victory will be more profitable. but thinking this time will be playing at home to Arsenal, I don't think there is any reason for arsenal to stop winning.

To be honest, I kind of like the purple color. It's well saturated and as you said, on the green grass, players will be able to easily spot their teammates. The cardiac arrest incident was very unfortunate. I heard the news that a Tottenham player spotted the incident and told the referee to stop the game and send a medic immediately which is a very humane gesture. But I'm glad that the guy is now okay. One thing is that we shouldn't expect big stuff for Newcastle already, maybe give them some time and let them organize themselves as things are rapidly changing over there.

Maybe this is what the market considers giving good odds I believe Arsenal will win today with low score 1-0 or 2-1
