I also believe Ole is preparing the club for the future to incase a situation will happen where Ronaldo might be injured and the club had a strong opponent to play against. Manchester Utd was very lucky with cancelled goal from Everton at the end of the game. and the most disappointing for MU fans was the permormance of the team during last minutes. so draw 1-1 may be considered as a good result for MU.

Not finger pointing but I think with the way we started the game I feel like we didn't give Everton the respect they deserved by fielding a less stronger squad and they punished us for it by equalizing but better than not walking out with a point we got something out of the game.

As I said in this particular period of time, United and Everton are approximately equal teams, therefore such unreasonably high odds against United from the bookmakers were unjustified. I wonder why Ronaldo didn't start in the starting lineup? I assumed that he would not play the entire match, but I thought that he would be replaced in the second half or at half-time.

Firstly, I least expected the starting eleven I saw. But it's a credit to Ole for having the guts to try new things. Martial started and had a goal in his name. This is to tell you that Manchester United has good finishers that can get goals; Ronaldo, Martial, Greenwood, Rashford, Cavani and Sancho, Bruno and even Pogba. The problem just lies in Defensive midfield, I am surprised why Manchester United does not want to solve that problem. Rather they prefer gambling Fred there or forcing Pogba to augment for the position.

Not trying anything to be effective for the midfield at Manchester United and indeed this should be a serious problem where Ole Gunner must be able to change the defensive midfield. Pogba is a good value but I only see that he is more defensive in attack than defending.


In tonight's match with Everton as a whole, Manchester is in control and is even dominant in attacking, but it's not enough if the defense is still weak, the proof is that Everton are still able to reply.

While this result is disappointing for the fans, no better results can be expected from it in terms of their performance. Despite having one of the best forwards and midfield lineup in the world, their performance is very poor. They have only 13 shots in this match despite having 72% ball possession. Everton, on the other hand, has ball possession of only 28%. Yet they made 12 shots. Manchester United's players have lost their rhythm in a very bad way. Especially their midfielders are not performing as expected. Their mutual bond is not strong. The coach should monitor this matter closely.

The weakest link in Man Utd squad is lack of a quality defensive midfielder, Fred had not been protecting the defence line very well, that area isonly the weakest link in the team, Matic is neither a better option too, while Pogba is more offensive than defensive, I  think they should have addressed that problem in the last transfer window.
I agreed with rotation and resting of some players by Ole, Everton is also a good team which can't be underrated, from my own ooint of view EPL has become too competitive for all the big teams, gone are days when the big teams will always beat the smaller ones.

In a previous post I said that Ronaldo could be a weakness for Manchester United, and it was proven today if Ronaldo did not play as expected and the tight escort of Everton defenders in guarding Ronaldo made it difficult for Ronaldo to develop his game in the match, the fatigue factor after playing in champions made a lot of manchester united players lose focus and as a result we can see a lot of manchester united players who lost the ball and made the wrong pass. now let's focus on another match that is no less exciting, namely chelsea and southampton and for now the score is still 1-0 for chelsea victory.

If we think about Everton's current form it might be a good result for Manchester United but I don't think any fans are satisfied with a draw at home game.

I wonder what will Arsenal do tonight, will they extend their winning series to 4 games or will it end today? Brighton is a flash team this season, anything is possible.

Bring a referee isn't as easy as it looks, hats off to these men and women that try to make fair calls for all teams.

Just saw this while browsing the net, can I get your opinions on this.

The reason for celebrating was because of the goal...if a yellow card is shown which leads to sending off of a player and VAR checks the build up of the goal only to be deemed offside then the punishment of that player should be reversed too.

The referee can only reverse a decision on goals but not on cards issued I suppose? It is a stupid rule to be honest and it should be removed but it's already part of the game unfortunately. Those shirt sponsors doesn't want to lose a minute of brand exposure.

So what then happens if the player has left the field of play, like after giving him the second yellow then red, he because agree and left the field of play. What then happens will he be called back or substituted with another player.

A red card means the player is already out of the game and he cannot be substituted or replaced by a teammate.

Fred was poor, failure to win that ball from grey, resulted to the goal.
They be making lazy decisions.
Playing three at the back, five midfielder's and two man upfront actually workso to an extent, Ole Gunner Solskjaer showing he has full trust for he's Manchester United second team.
This wasn't the aim of today's match but a draw is better than lossing to Everton at home.

I hoped so too but they haven't played as expected in the second half but they've been playing a lot better since Mount replaced Odoi. Anyway, Southampton just saw their captain showed the way out and I expect Chelsea to make the last few moments of the match heated for them so we can expect maybe a goal or two. Tuchel is about to bring in Ross Barkley too. Too bad for Southampton.

What a play from Chelsea for the second goal but it was all created by one pass from Ross Barkley who made a sweet pass to Azpilicueta on the right and the cross was perfect for the two strikers hanging inside to just tuck the ball in. It was the first touch of Ross Barkley after getting substituted in and it was first goal for Werner in this PL season. Really that pass deserved a result and it did.

How is Wolves getting wins ? This team is having points only by luck so far and at some point this luck will ran out and they will start to have big big problems. Newcastle today really deserved at least a draw because at some point they could've won the game ...but the luck of Wolves is amazing.
