What a play from Chelsea for the second goal but it was all created by one pass from Ross Barkley who made a sweet pass to Azpilicueta on the right and the cross was perfect for the two strikers hanging inside to just tuck the ball in. It was the first touch of Ross Barkley after getting substituted in and it was first goal for Werner in this PL season. Really that pass deserved a result and it did. 

Tuchel knows his players, I think this much of him, before the match begun I criticized some of his selection but at the end I think he is a manager that needs his authority to do his coaching job, and his changes made instant contributions for the blues, I felt bad for chiwell when he conceded the penalty from his reckless tackle but oh did he have the last smile over southampton with a marcos alonso technique of a goal, congrats to timo am excited for him.

Match between Brighton and Arsenal is almost underway and today's lineups look as follows:

With Arsenal showing some form of latebin the past few weeks, I think they will build on it to keep the winning run going and give themselves an opportunity to leap frog some teams and move from 11th to 7th position should they win this evening.

I have the same thought. If Fred hadn't underestimated his opponent or tried harder to control the ball, it would have been a different story. In this match, Man United's performance was mediocre. Although they won possession and they had more shots on target but it wasn't good enough to score the second goal.

Everton came as guests, so it wouldn't be a surprise if they lost in possession, moreover, their opponent is a big team. With all these flaws, all Everton can do is counter-attack, but they were successful with this strategy.

I have a feeling that Brighton will surprise Arsenal today and beat them. I do not think Arsenal will score today despite them being in good morale because they beat Tottenham  by a large amount last game. The game has just kicked off and Brighton have already had a chance and could have scored. Arsenal looking shaky at the back but Brighton have picked up a injury hopefully he can stay on because Trossard is a key player to Brighton winning today.

Chelsea managed to score only one goal in the first half. I think they will be able to score more goals in this match. Chelsea made 10 shots in the first half, 4 of which were on-target shots. They will play more aggressively in the second half. On the other hand, Chelsea's defense is much stronger. It is very difficult for Southampton to score against such a strong defense. Chelsea has conceded just two goals this season. This is the lowest compared to the first 3 teams in the points table.

I hoped so too but they haven't played as expected in the second half but they've been playing a lot better since Mount replaced Odoi. Anyway, Southampton just saw their captain showed the way out and I expect Chelsea to make the last few moments of the match heated for them so we can expect maybe a goal or two. Tuchel is about to bring in Ross Barkley too. Too bad for Southampton.

How is Wolves getting wins ? This team is having points only by luck so far and at some point this luck will ran out and they will start to have big big problems. Newcastle today really deserved at least a draw because at some point they could've won the game ...but the luck of Wolves is amazing.

The luck they have is made by them being aggressive in attack if they were not in those positions they would not get the benefit of luck being on their side. I think Wolves are a better side then Newcastle and Newcastle were lucky at times today. Newcastle probably did deserve a point today but that is Newcastles problem because even when they are playing well they always drop points. Maybe a change of manager for them?

i thought mendy would replaced by kepa when penalty given to southampton lol tuchel selection are pretty odd recently after a back to back losses to manchester city and juventus, i think he just making a rotation for possible new best 11 formula as mason mount form get dropped but he shown a great impact after he get subbed in. will he did it again to put different line up next match? i wish he didnt.

This is true but Newcastle or Wolves do not have the best players in the world and that is why they fight for relegation nearly every season in the Premier League. Wolves do not fight as much as Newcastle to stay in the league but I think Newcastle might have better players especially in attack then Wolves. The way Newcastle are going they are not going to stay in the Premier League this season I cannot remember the last time that they won a game? Wolves I think will finish around mid table and will not need to worry about being relegated. They have looked better this season now that they have their main striker back.

This is an important victory for Chelsea in the seventh game of the Premier League. The victory led them to become the top of the Premier League standings while waiting for the results of the Manchester City vs Liverpool match which will come out tomorrow. Two previous Chelsea defeats have seen Tuchel's men try to bounce back and have extra motivation in this game, although I believe they were lucky enough to face Southamton but the result was very satisfying for the fans. But unfortunately Manchester United failed to win today's match and even almost lost if Yerry Mina's goal was confirmed by the referee as a valid goal.

Brighton vs Arsenal, I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal lost this game. Brighton managed to control this match with high possession of the ball. 1 goal will make Arsenal's consistency in winning the game to be broken.

Ronaldo and Sancho did not perform well after their substitutions for Martial and Cavani. Problems with Man United are from their midfielders. They can not be creative enough and can not create enough pressure to Everton defense system.

Manchester Utd was very lucky with cancelled goal from Everton at the end of the game. and the most disappointing for MU fans was the permormance of the team during last minutes. so draw 1-1 may be considered as a good result for MU.

A defender at Everton has revealed the secret to keeping Cristiano Ronaldo quiet, and after the result of a 1-1 draw with Manchester United, that might be considered a good result. Although these teams don't have united problems, their biggest issue is how to handle mid table teams. I sometimes wonder why Ole is still at Old Trafford?

In the first half brighton really controlled the match, they often counterattacked very quickly and made the arsenal defense work quite hard, in my opinion brighton game in the first half was quite extraordinary and was able to create a lot of chances which was quite dangerous, but unfortunately they were a little unlucky in making the final settlement so that the first half of the match ended with the score 0-0, as an arsenal fan, I really hope that in the second half arsenal can play better and be able to create opportunities to score goals.

Manchester United have had a lot of these days recently they have drew or narrowly beat opponents in the dying seconds of the game. I am not impressed by Manchester United Ronaldo is impressive of course but as a team they are lacking that creativity and I think the midfield is to blame. Ronaldo might have scored most games that he has played in but he needs more service and I would expect him to score 20+ goals this season in the league.

many MU fans are disappointed but as a Chelsea fan I am very happy with the results that MU got in this match so that Chelsea can safely be at the top of the standings.

He is 36 years old and he cant play three times a week for full 90 minutes anymore. Its far more tiring playing in Premier League compared to the other league so yeah Ole's decision is pretty much reasonable but it cost the team full 3 points. The questionable decision was subbing Sancho, he could have subbed in Lingard instead.

Few years back we have two best teams in English Premier League Newcastle United and Leeds United but suddenly these both their best days and relegated after relegation these both were never been good and quality teams but recently Leeds United doing some better job under Bielsa and today have their first win, but Newcastle United is suffering very badly even they have Benitez R last year as coach with current form I am also feeling they are going back in Championship. Wolves were also very good team after Nuno they have some problems but now as their main striker came back they are doing some better job.

It was more then a few years ago I would say a 20+ years ago Newcastle were good when they had Alan Shearer and Leeds have not been a top team for more then that 20 years. Leeds are getting back to becoming a big team though which I think is very exciting. They play some good football but they have not been as good this season as they were last season I think teams now know how to counter them. Manchester United just beat them a couple of weeks back by a huge amount of goals. Brighton look like they could have won this game but it looks like this game will finish 0-0. Arsenal do not look the same team that beat Tottenham as predicted by me. They just lack motivation against other teams and Tottenham were playing a weak team at the time of playing them.
