Chelsea have started to press since the match started and Mane who committed a hard foul on Azpilicueta should receive the first yellow card in today game, I think this is the fastest first yellow card received by a player in the English league this season, Mane got yellow card when the game has been running for less than 20 seconds. Seeing the game of the two teams that continue to take turns in attacking, it looks like we will see a bigger match score today, because so far both teams have made several attempts to score in less than 9 minutes of the game.
Liverpool have now taken the lead from their quick attacks, and the Mane who got the first card was precisely him who managed to score the first goal of the day for Liverpool.

I honestly wouldn't have placed a bet on Chelsea turning this around or achieving a draw. Liverpool looked to effective in the beginning and too dangerous when Chelsea tried to open up. Also Chelsea's defense is much worse compared to the first 10 games or so. Liverpool's offense is so strong that any team that gets behind with two goals has trouble to strike the right balance in order to find the way back into the game. Not a bad job by Chelsea.

At least Chelsea didn't loose in the match, they still played a good defence.
It's more better to play draw than to loose.

Unfortunately Liverpool couldn't score in the second half which Chelsea dominated and the host could have score two more goals in the second half but for Liverpool goalkeeper who made a point blank save, Chelsea comeback was incredible and they really deserve it, their consistent attack on Liverpool up front paid of, it was quite an exciting and entertaining match however the draw between the two had enabled Man City to sit comfortable on top of the table with 53 points extending the gap to 10 points.

The end of the first half was amazing for Chelsea. Their comeback was indeed incredible and they could have scored couple of more times including the 45+2. That would have been amazing.

I think the game tempo got so low after around 60-70th minutes. The difference between these teams and Man City is that Man city always controls the game more and set the tempo for themselves. In this game I think they didn't have enough energy left to play high tempo after the time I mentioned.

After I saw that Lukaku wasn't going to play in this game, I was having big doubts about whether Chelsea would be able to get even one point in this game. Because when he is also in the game, Chelsea also are playing much more differently. And Liverpool really made a great start by getting 2-0 ahead already in a short time. However Chelsea weren't intending to give up. And they made a really huge comeback by bringing the score to 2-2. The first half was just marvelous. And I should admit that Kovacic scored a spectacular goal. The second half wasn't that impressive and it ended by this score. But I really enjoyed this superb game.

Is that too important to you? I would never have done it even if I wasn't a Liverpool fan. It was not the best match between the two team but the result was enough to help each team get 1 point in their bid to compete with Manchester City.

Chelsea are more prepared to win this match at home than Liverpool but if you ask who deserved to win then I believe it is Liverpool and you don't have to argue with me even though you are a Chelsea fan.

Arsenal have missed many opportunities, but do not forget that Manchester City's defense is one of the best in the Premier League this season. Making goals against them is not an easy task at all.

I like Manchester's strategy. They were more focused on ball possession, with 71% ball possession by Manchester City. Due to which Arsenal did not get a chance to attack too much. Moreover, one of the reasons for their defeat was Gabriel's red card.

I do not think that defense matters that much when you are that much up in the table. West ham got 27 goals scored on them and they are 5th, arsenal has 25 and 4th, United got 26 and 7th whereas Wolves had only 14 goals scored on them and they are at 8th. Which shows you that having a great defense is not enough to be at the top, Chelsea has the same 14 goal scored on them but they are second whereas City has just one less goal with 13 and at the top with a great cushion point difference. All of which shows that you need both defense and offense at the same time.

Arsenal has a great offense, they scored 33 goals so far and most of them came after that horrible start so they really do well on offense. Martinelli was the proof on that game, dude could get a hattrick but just got unlucky, which is why I would say that the result was not just City having a good game, it was also a bit unlucky for Arsenal.

It was a high tempo game, it is highly expected for players to get exhausted quickly in such fixtures.

Really i was too, with the way the first half went and the number of goals we saw, i was thinking the game will be impossible to end in a draw. Chelsea fans should be praying hard, because who is going to be their safe hands in goal when Mendy who saved a lot of balls in the game  goes for AFCON and they play Manchester city? it's going to be a tough choice.

I was surprised by Brighton. They were able to break into the top 10 entering the second half of the season. I don't really listen to the players much, but there doesn't seem to be a big star player there. With twenty-seven points they are at number eight. Even in the previous game they were able to hold Chelsea to a draw. Even erverton today were unable to mandate the chances as hosts to win.

What a wonderful game we watched today! Chelsea - Liverpool was even much more delightful than Arsenal - Manchester City I think. At first, it seemed like Liverpool were going to dominate the whole game after they got ahead by 2-0. But I was mesmerized by Chelsea's turning the game around very nicely. And the game was just beginning after this incident. Both teams deserved to win honestly and I was very contented with the performances here.

The first big game that both teams saw was amazing, both appearances where Liverpool managed to score two goals first, were equalized by Mateo Kovacic and also Christian Pulisic at the end of the first half, maybe the second half was more boring where both of them only had possession without creating dangerous chances how Chelsea only had one shot on goal for the Liverpool goalkeeper and more than that both of them just played the ball in the middle of the playing field and played it safer, unlike the first half where both teams played really hard to get the win

Manchester City vs Chelsea meet on January 15, and there are still a few games left for Chelsea against Tottenham Leg 1 on January 6 and Leg 2 on January 13. After that, Chelsea had to prepare to face Man City, in last September Chelsea lost with only 1 goal. With Chelsea's performance now at least it's more different. As the leader of the top standings, Man City is an opponent that Chelsea wants to conquer.

We have almost 17 more rounds until end of this season so just 2 or 3 poor matches from top rank teams can change all situation very quickly with next round we have very exciting match between Manchester City vs Chelsea which is very important for title race if City won this then surely it's hard for any team to stop them otherwise we will have some very entertaining matches for all top 3 teams with now Arsenal and Tottenham are also having very good form in recent matches for staying in European connection and West Ham and Manchester Unites are also trying their best for some space even facing some different problems but currently with these 7 teams we have very open season here in English Premier League.
