I have the same opinion as yours. West Ham also are one of the biggest teams this season. We have witnessed their great rise in the EPL standings so far. And I expect them to play very eagerly to defeat Tottenham even though it is an away game. Tottenham should play very carefully. Or they will most probably be eliminated from this cup. Tottenham are on the rise with the help of Conte and they should focus on keeping it going.

Covid makes everything look bad. The game was postponed, the football industry would lose many of its workers if this did not improve soon. Omicron's new variant appears to make all people including organisers not want to take risks about player safety. Therefore, they deserve to try to keep things going well. I hope everything is under control soon, there is no postponement of the game and everyone remains in good health.

I also hope the situation can be controlled because I think this is still related to the vaccine. We have actually gone through difficult times due to covid in 2020 until a mass vaccine is carried out, but this virus will never go away just because vaccines must always be produced.

The postponement of some match is an attempt to control infection, and it should be done because health is far more important than money. I don't expect this new virus variant to bother for longer than expected and I'm sure it will be resolved.

Liverpool have a greater chance of winning the match, obviously what Liverpool squad currently has is far above Leeds United and I think it's unlikely that Leeds United can win the match, even though Liverpool just got a negative result against Tottenham, it doesn't mean now Liverpool performance has decreased, now Liverpool have a difference of 3 points from Manchester City and of course Liverpool will be eyeing victory in the match against Leeds United later in order to erase the distance with Manchester City.

BTW, currently the carabao cup match has been played between liverpool and leicester, leicester is currently leading with the provisional score 2:0.

That's the thing, this virus is already considered a common cold, everyone got used to it, they don't pay attention to it. You can just limit players who are sick and spend the match with replacements for these players, and not disrupt the game, it's even worse, then play with a crazy schedule and can barely cope with the strain ... I don't understand this system.

It's already been a very difficult game for them still @Liverpool. They seem to be playing all the game, winning in possessions and all but, Leicester City are the ones scoring the goals. Somehow, they've identified the loophole in the team with the absence of a proper defense line, capitalise on it and making every shot at the goal count. I doubt if Klopp would be able to come back in this game. On the other hand, Brentford has held Chelsea to a stand still goalless first half. I think it's going to be a Brentford 0-1 Chelsea game.

Liverpool - Leeds game is a really nice one. We can watch a high-scoring game here I believe. Even Liverpool by themselves can score 4 or 5 goals I think. Leeds have a big vulnerability in their defense line now and Liverpool are the best team when it comes to scoring. They are the top scorer team in the standings with 50 goals. And Leeds are the second most conceding team now. Liverpool would just destroy them in this.

If we can’t beat Leeds at home then we don’t have any chance of winning the title. I do think this will be a resounding LFC win though, I think Leeds are in trouble. We should win this one comfortably.

The difference is only 3 points right now, and could even reach to 6 points if you lose to Leeds and City wins (or you lose some other game while City wins) and that's fine, it is only half of the league schedule done and we are talking about 2 teams already being at the top and showing prowess once again.

I do not think LFC or City already shows any clear indication who will win, and just one game won't change that at all. When you are so close and we have two amazing teams, 5-6 points is nothing, we need like 10 points to be clear. We still all remember City winning a title with a last minute goal, probably you more than us because Liverpool fans really though they would win the league for a while. So it could go until the last race and so far everything looks like that will be possible once again.

Chelsea finally finds a breaking point with an own goal from P. Jansson at the 80th minute. It's been a really tough one, Brentford and Chelsea. Brentford has done almost everything to sustain and absorb Chelsea's pressure, haven't put out over 7 shots on target but finally  a defense error and the goal was produced. Just now, Jorginho has just net a penalty, changing the scoreline to Brentford 0-2 Chelsea and its just minutes to the final whistle.

Chelsea finally scored in the last minutes and they won even by 2-0 against Brentford. Liverpool - Leicester game is still going on very interestingly now. We are in the stoppage time now. There are six more minutes to be played. And Liverpool are losing by 2-3 home now. Leicester's effort is just unbelievably good now. And they really deserve to eliminate Liverpool now. And Tottenham also defeated West Ham by 2-1 and qualified for the semi finals.

 That's an interesting sentiment - do keep in mind that Leeds is coming into this game after losing their last 3 games from teams in the top half of the league including - Chelsea, City and Arsenal. While I'm expecting Liverpool to take the 3 points at the end of the day but I always watchful for this Leeds team. They can be full of surprises. City thrashed them 7-0, Liverpool should be able to do around 3-4 goals without conceding any but let's see.

The results are quite cool. Just as you noted, many thought the battle will be between Spurs and Westham, rather Liecester gave the fight. It's a good one that Liecester has refused to be underatted even if the result wasn't in thier favour.
For Westham, I don't know if it is right to say that they are depreciating or should I wait for maybe 3 more matches?

It was all very frustrating somehow for Chelsea today maybe because they weren't in fine form for the game or they probably used a wrong formation for the game and it almost became a problem.
 Well, since the game of football is somehow unpredictable, Chelsea finally came up with a goal in the dying minutes and that was as a result of some misconduct from Brentford.
They had their final score at 0-2

No matter how Leicester fans might react to my words, it is still much more difficult for the club to achieve success and a title based on the results of the entire championship than to win the title in the cup, where there are much fewer matches and it is possible to level the superior level of the opponent in a separate match thanks to dedication and banal luck. Especially when there was a goal advantage and literally a few minutes were not enough to defeat such a status rival as Liverpool.

If you check the EPL schedule then you will understand why Klopp made quite a big change to the starting eleven in this match, in a week they will play 2 matches and there is no Christmas or New Year holiday unlike other big leagues such as Laliga, Bundesliga and Serie A they have a break for Christmas and also the new year, this is the reason why the coach must be smart to rotate his players.
