What's wrong with Chelsea's performance today even in the first 15 minutes they conceded 2 goals. Now that Chelsea's game doesn't look so promising, I don't think Graham Potter can't put the first squad in without Aubameyang because Chelsea's front line is always blunt in executing.

Exactly my thoughts, Chelsea's game is way below par but let's not forget that Brighton are in form and playing with home advantage, this game was never going to be an easy one for the Blues.

If this ends in defeat, then Chelsea will be willing to work for Man United tomorrow. There was still a chance in the second half, but the chances of winning today were slim.

With two goals down to a stubborn Brighton, this is going to be a lose for the Blues no doubt about that but not sure what you mearnt by " Chelsea will be willing to work for Man United tomorrow."  

Elsewhere Tottenham is getting a beating too and with their emotions all over the game I see Spurs losing this one as well.

Even though the match is not over yet, but the 3 goals scored by Brighton were beyond expectations. Brighton played really impressive, and they can really take advantage of playing at home. I thought Graham Potter has made a difference, but if we look at Chelsea's performance against Brighton today, it seems that their appearance is still inconsistent. There's a lot of homework that Potter had to solve immediately.

Bournemouth took the lead 1-0 against Tottenham with Moore's 22nd minute goal. Tottenham were the favorites before the match. First half and Chelsea has already conceded 3 goals of which 2 of those goals are Own goals from Loftus-Cheek and Chalobah. Its been unbelievable and Brighton Hove Albion is making it look so easy. There performance have been something properly cooked up. They won Manchester United and evn in the game against Manchester City which they lost, they were able to win in bal possession against a team like Manchester City, known for bing in control of there matches.
I don't think there would be any chance of comeback for Chelsea in this encounter.

I'm quite dissatisfied with Chelsea's performance in this game. Even if they are winning possession, Brighton still has more. Graham Potter needs to talk to the players and modify the style of play in the second half because they are not playing like they are winning the game today. Chelsea's players will be quite weak after two own goals and will need to be given extra confidence to overcome this in the second half. Overall, I'd say Brighton has been quite remarkable, and I give them a thumbs up for their performance.

Regarding that, of course you know that tomorrow Manchester United will play against West Ham. Automatically, if Chelsea doesn't play ahead today and the points don't add up, then the 5th standings can be taken by Manchester United. The difference between the two is not too far, which is 1 point adrift and Erik Ten Hag cannot continue to draw with clubs in the Premier League.

With West Ham's condition not so good, now is an opportunity for Erik Ten Hag to maximize his players. Although not entirely sure that tomorrow Manchester United will be easy to beat the team of David Moyes.

But today they are playing against Chelsea, and Potter is their former coach - apparently it has grown into something personal   which is why we see such an absurd score after the first half. I'm not sure that Chelsea will be able to come back after the break and fight at least for a draw. I just hope that the final score will be decent.

I didn't expect brighton to score 3 goals in the first half. is this a sign the Brighton players want to show the fans that they can be more aggressive since Graham's departure or they want to embarrass their former coach. Well whatever it is, I am very impressed with the attack they built in the first half, they were able to make the tempo of the game more aggressive compared to the previous few matches. in other matches tottenham are still 1-0 down from bournemouth and newscastle looks like they will keep the lead they have until the end of the game.

Quiet lucky that Chelsea got an early second half goal which has boosted their confidence to continue fighting but it is difficult to believe that Chelsea will be able to get a draw in this kind of England that Nottingham Forest wins Liverpool. Chelsea might be able to get one more goal but Brighton will also get another goal which will make it difficult for Chelsea to get a draw.

What is wrong with these 2 teams, they are on top 5 in the current standing but they are playing poorly.
If they can make a great come back to win the match, it will be a big advantage for Manchester United.
At least United can overtake Chelsea's position and equalize the points to Tottenham if United can beat West Ham tomorrow.

An interesting match day life for sure. I wonder how Chelsea isn't taking advantage of the opportunities that have opened up in the second half. Most of which K. Havertz have been in the forest front and even the goal he manged to score with a header was poorly directed. He's advantage was being too close to the goal keeper and as such, he couldn't see much of the ball. The rest of there touches where wrong passes and Sterling was often being met by the defenders as though he hit a brick wall. A good thing they've brought in E. Aubameyang in time and maybe, just maybe they would get a second goal but the possibility of a draw is a big doubt.

Terrible ball control in front of the goal post and defense by Chelsea and hence they conceded two own goals but you should not forget the incredible saves by the Brighton goalie Robert Sánchez and i have seen a few sure certain goals that were saved by him. 20 minutes left in this match and i am expecting  one more goal from Chelsea and hopefully they will be able to score against Sánchez.

This was beyond my prediction, because at first I still felt that they would be evenly matched in this regard but Chelsea were really messed up in their defence.
2 players having an own goal obviously this is not very good for them. On the other hand, the attack line is still a little problematic because there are still some mistakes that really don't need to happen but they do.
Now that 70 minutes have passed, I'm a bit pessimistic for Chelsea at the moment.

If you are a gambler and you are still having the thought that Newcastle United is a small club please erase that thought before you lose your money. Those guys have transformed and are much more better that you think. They can win any team in England and they can score Hugh number of goals. I just wish to inform you.
