It is still possible for Arsenal to occupy such a position with its current players. Gabriel Jesus was Arsenal's best striker in my opinion.  Nketiah doesn't give me confidence.  Of course, if he can make good use of this opportunity, he will have taken an important step for himself.  For Arsenal, having Gabriel Jesus injured is one of the worst things that could happen.  They needed his skills in the tough fixture.  Let's see if he can recover as soon as possible and continue this performance again.

Well Nketiah worked for us when others were not performing like Lacazette and Aubameyang and we struggled to put goals on the board for us. It's gonna take some time to adjust but I think he can score goals but just need to keep things calm and play the team game like the current squad is doing otherwise it will not work out well for Gunners. I have seen him getting selfish at some easy situations but then again have seen him score in difficult positions as well. He needs a time to develop- that's for sure, so its gonna take Arteta to keep him work according to the game plan.

Interesting, Kelvin De Bruyne made two beautiful assist in the EFL Cup game against Liverpool. He was everywhere around the Midfield, creating chances. His assist both to Haaland and AKE made Pep Guardiola hail him as a Manchester City "legend". Rico Lewis is another star, a potential threat following how he held the ball more than any other player when they played against Liverpool, with exception to Rodri. His performance can push him into a big star at City

De Bruyne's composure on the ball is currently one of the best, he always opens up space for other players to launch unexpected attacks. He seems to know what crosses are good for strikers and defenders, he always measures the accuracy of his pass before kicking the ball. For Rodri, his playing style is similar to Sergio Bosquest, he has calm in the defensive line, at least he is always the destroyer before reaching the team's defense area and Pep Guardiola was not wrong to choose Rodri for the defensive midfield position.

His passes and especially crosses were so successful that all of them were finding their targets. The assists to Haaland and especially Ake were amazing to watch. If you look closely to him while he is making those crosses you can see easily that it is like a usual thing for him now. He is making them like he is doing nothing difficult. This is the result of hard work of course.

No doubt about the importance of De Bruyne's in Manchester City because currently his performance at the peak, and he has tag of backbone of this team which is doing amazing stuff and after the break in first official match he was impressive which help's them for having spot into quarterfinal and most chances now they could be going to face Manchester United into final because things are looking easy for these both teams and no other big club available for the challenge between these two teams.

De Bruyne is hardworking player and his performance of the national team is also amazing even they were not able to have any success but still he is one of the best available player in current Belgium team which needs few changes for having better results in International matches.

Nothing depends on United as Rashford's contract ends in the summer of 2023 and he can leave for free. Now they are in the most difficult situation - they either have to offer better financial terms than PSG (and thus suffer financially since it is very expensive to compete with PSG in terms of money) or let Rashford go for free. Both decisions look like a big loss.

You are right, that Rashford contract which expires next summer is PSG's opportunity, on the other hand, PSG actually already has a much more stable player. I think Manchester United will inevitably release young players who have shone in the World Cup. Although later there will definitely be many clubs trying to offer the best place for Rashford. PSG has sufficient finances, but Rashford position will not be as free as where he was when he played at Manchester United. Surely it will share a place like being a second-tier alternative player for PSG.

Marcus Rashford is very young, and he is the talented player which mean things are in his way for having good future here in Manchester United because most chances if he is going to join PSG then he could be going to stay at tier 2 which is surely never been ideal situation for the player like him with his current form hopefully Manchester United will be able to extend his contract and he will be able to give his best in future as well.

PSG is having amazing finances and quality players which is good for them but not for any player like Rashford quality because he deserves better playing time for increasing his skills and experience which will help him in rest of his playing career and this all is just possible with the stay here at Manchester United.

I really liked Manchester City and Liverpool both in their EFL Cup matchup. They were both promising for the rest of the season. Only Nunez made me worried because he was so ineffective. I know that he made an assist at least. But he wasted two big goal opportunities above all else. The shots were so bad that they didn't even hit the goal post.

I hope his scoring skills won't be bad in the Premier League from now on. Liverpool are believing in him to perform well. They have spent so much money for his productivity. He was amazing at Benfica and hopefully he will get closer to that level in time.

Actually there is no fundamental reason for Graham Potter to rest his players after returning from the World Cup, because I think the time they get after the end of the World Cup is enough for them to recover physically, unless Graham Potter doesn't want his players to be in the main squad. in that match. It would be a shame if Graham Potter did not make the most of their players who shone at the Qatar World Cup, especially when they were in bad shape. Players like Hakim Ziyech could break the deadlock from Chelsea's current game. I think he should be included in the starting line-up, but it's all up to him now.

There will be tough fixtures for Arsenal in January from what I have seen, Fixtures that will challenge and can stand as obstacles to them winning the league. The replacement for Gabriel Jesus has to happen quickly and it has to be someone who is a suitable replacement for the position he played in the club, plus someone who can perform same function he was performing both close to the goal and far away from goal, both when he scores and when he does not score as well. The coach of Arsenal should already have a way to ensure that the injury of one player does not make them loose the entire league.

January is going to be make or break month for the Arsenal with absence of the Gabriel Jesus is surely going to have big impact on Arsenal performance because they are right now having good players but still need confidence and performance like him for having better results against big teams in coming matches Nketiah is having good mark but still not like we are looking for him in absence of Gabriel Jesus because he was at his best after joining from Manchester City and things were also looking amazing for the all unit.
 
As now, we will have Winter transfer window, hopefully Arteta and Arsenal management will be able to have few better signings as well for their better performance and good future because after many years now they are having good chance for staying into top teams for going into Champions League.

Nketiah should just be given sometime to develop his forward skills and convert assists to goals. Goal scoring is the primary assignment of a forward player but it not always easy sending the ball into the net and it happens when the player is played by the coach as a substitute player. Even if Arteta will find a replacement in the Summer transfer window he can still build up with  Nketiah while he work on making his new signings.

Surprise of the day? It can be Aston Villa Liverpool

Manchester United - Nottingham is an interesting game in terms of their head-to-head history. These two teams haven't faced each other since 1999. It is going to be a historical moment for these teams as a result.  

When it comes to the result of that, I'm of course waiting for Manchester United to beat them. Nottingham are an interesting team this season in fact. They beat Liverpool by 1-0 but they lost to Arsenal by 5-0 in another game. They have a complicated game history against big teams so far. Even though they are one of the members in the relegation area, Manchester United still had better be careful in this game. They should adopt a fully offensive game from the beginning to find a goal or goals early to break their guard easier.

The man does have a good eye when it comes to picking out his team mates and I don't see this stopping anytime soon. But unfortunately his biological clock is counting down to retirement and any young star that comes to the party doing what KDB is doing, it's over.

Definitely deserves legend status but he has to stick around to rack up more games to his name to make it impossible for future players from getting his name off the record books.

In the last match in Carabao Cup against Liverpool De Bruyne was the best player of the match I guess.
His passes are really a separate art form, his last pass to the goal was as if it was not done with his foot, but as if by hand he just threw a twisted ball into the penalty area.   
Apparently now De Bruyne is at the peak of his form given his stability. Yes, the Belgian national team has not yet been able to make the world champion (but it's not his fault), but he is able to bring trophies to Manchester City. His tandem with Haaland is excellent.

Just look at the Premier League, De Bruyne is a top assist, he continues to provide such great crosses, especially in front of Haaland, who always succeeds as a finish. It is quite great and skilled, what De Bruyne currently has.
Manchester City are not lacking in terms of midfielders they have a lot of great midfielders including De Bruyne but he still hasn't been able to bring trophies in the UCL and yesterday at the World Cup but I think playing in and in the league is really different maybe because of other factors that could not bring his national team to go any further.
The stability and accuracy of the pass is almost perfect and that's exactly what De Bruyne has.

De Bruyne is a player who is always in the starting eleven and Pep Guardiola really likes his playing style. even this season De Bruyne has always played in the 14 matches that have been played by Manchester City. he was a figure of great influence for manchester city in previous seasons. maybe this season is a pretty good period for manchester city because the manchester city squad has high quality players in every line. Erling haaland and Foden as well as the rising star Alvarez, of course Manchester City are quite strong this season. The champions league trophy has been Manchester City main target in the previous few seasons but it has always failed and this season we will see if De Bruyne et al can bring the champions league trophy home to the Etihad Stadium.

The last time they met, Manchester United scored 8 goals. Of course, this match was even before the millennium. ManU was managed by Ferguson. Solskjaer scored the last 4 goals in that match, and if Nottingham Forest had made it to the Premier League last season, they would have met while Solskjaer was in charge of the team. It could be very interesting.
Anyway, back to the present time, Ten Hag is in charge of the team and ManU has had mixed results before the World Cup. They have not been able to achieve a clear winning streak in the last period. Now, looking at their fixtures, they have a chance to win the 3 games until the Manchester City game and catch a series. I expect them to have a comfortable win against Nottingham Forest. I don't mean to belittle Nottingham Forest, but I don't think they have ability to get points at Old Trafford.

Aston Villa is not a comfortable opponent for Liverpool in my opinion. Liverpool will need to be really careful against them. Because Emery has already started to make a big impact on Aston Villa.    Since he came to the team, they have won two tough matches against Manchester United (3-1) and Brighton (2-1). This is not an easy job to do for any manager right from the beginning of his career with that team. But Emery is not just an ordinary manager that's obvious. He has always been like this whatever team he goes to.

My betting choice is likely to be both teams to score @1.65. I don't want to risk it by betting on a side.

in the next transfer market, both Liverpool and Chelsea will definitely try their best to bring in the reliable players needed by the team. and especially Chelsea. Chelsea desperately need additional players in attack and midfield. we must not forget that Chelsea in the last transfer market too save money. Chelsea always loses in the race for players in the transfer market because Chelsea always doesn't want to increase the bid price. and I hope that in the next transfer market Chelsea can be more competitive in trying to get the players the team really needs.

There is a lot of news if they are interested in repatriating Dortmund midfielder Bellingham. He managed to amaze many big clubs for his services. With 19 years old of course he is a long-term asset, if they manage to get then it is very profitable. But of course competition comes from various clubs. Reportedly Dortmund are ready to sell him 100 million euros, which is four times bigger when Dortmun brings him in Brimingham.
