Tuchel shouldn't be sacked before Todd will exercise his authority of decision and supremacy. As of when Ronaldo became a free agent Chelsea has already lost some players who wouldn't have moved if Ronaldo arrived and also Chelsea has made some couple of signings which cost them alot such as Koulibaly and Fofana.
For Tuchel to outright refuse signing Ronaldo even when Todd wanted is a confirmation of our both sides of the story.

Mind you that whenever there is a new owner/management in any company, they always try to make changes once their tenure begins, and i suspect that is what Todd Boehly wanted to do by firing Tuchel. The thing is, there was no confirmation of anything as regards why Tuchel was sacked, Tuchel himself didn't release any statement as to the reason why, whilst Todd Boehly basically said that his vision/ideas and that of Tuchel didn't align.

Having said that, if Chelsea actually wanted Ronaldo, they would have signed him for free, all they would have had to worry about would have been his salary/wages, of which Chelsea is more than capable of handling.

Changing coaches will also only make their expenses soar even more, especially now that Potter is just starting out again by bringing in several players who he thinks are quite good now after Nkunku, Benoit and new young man Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama. so firing now is definitely not right in this case.
At least this season he can still compete and be given a chance but maybe he has to prepare for the worst conditions for Chelsea who can't speak much in the EPL this season.

every coach has a different strategy and so do the players he needs, a loss for a team that constantly changes coaches is that, but that must still be fulfilled by the team so that the coach's plans are in line with what the team expects.
but so far the change of coaches made by Chelsea is in my opinion a big mistake, Potter has never been able to improve Chelsea's performance.
everything needs process, but a team like Chelsea seems impatient for that.

He's a pretty good coach actually, but indeed when he trains a club with mediocre standards, he immediately switches to a big club like Chelsea, obviously this is a little difficult because regardless of anything, he also has to be able to develop further with this, especially very difficult with Chelsea's current condition because besides being required to train in a better direction in terms of coaching he is also required to improve Chelsea's performance which is not doing well because there are many problems in it so this is indeed getting more difficult for Potter I think.

Graham Potter has not had great achievements to handle a team as big as Chelsea, he has only succeeded in increasing Brighton's performance and that cannot be said to be a glorious achievement.
I don't hate Graham Potter, but I see it realistically that he is no better than Thomas Tuchel.

I myself as a fan chelsea. still want to give graham potter a chance. at least I want to see how Chelsea will buy players in the transfer market again. Graham potter actually proved to be a good coach while still at Brighton. And when Potter arrived as Chelsea coach to replace Tuchel, at first he made a very good impression on Chelsea's performance. So I still have hope in Graham potter. and I hope he can bring Chelsea back to his best. at least in the match against Fullham we will see whether Graham potter can come up with a strategy to make Chelsea win in that match or not. and if you still can't bring victory to Chelsea then it's only natural that many will ask graham potter to be fired.

Let Graham Potter be given them for him to fix the problem in the club as it is too early to be talking about sacking him. Life is all about up and downs and Chelsea can't keep winning all the time. But actually, right after Tuchel was replaced by Graham Potter, we could see that Chelsea had improved quite a bit. 9 matches without defeat but only 3 draws and 6 wins. However, after Chelsea lost to Brighton, it seems that Chelsea's performance since then has really gotten worse. It was as if there was another problem within the club. Of course we know that Chelsea is lacking superior players. But it shouldn't be as bad as it is now. At least in the next game Chelsea will face Fullham. and I hope Chelsea can return to show their best performance in the match later.

The coaching transition always occur in that manner if you observe it. The old coaching philosophy wears out with time/games and the new coaching pattern sets in. Most of the time it is not immediate since new players are not brought in. Besides, Tuchel is not doing that bad when he left.

Chelsea had to accept a bitter defeat by Manchester City in the FA Cup match with a score of 0-4. It looks like Chelsea have no hope with their current performance, Graham Potter also can't do much with the current squad due to injuries from several of his players who haven't recovered yet. Furthermore, in the EPL match, Chelsea will face Fulham. This time Fulham will be the host, with the bad results that Chelsea have been getting continuously it looks like they will lose again in this match, but I still hope they can win this match even though it is very difficult.

Seeing that Chelsea condition is getting worse, of course you don't rule out the possibility of fighting Fulham, the results will not be too surprising. Whether you lose or win, Chelsea still has a lot of work to do. The cast whose composition was not up to par only impacted Potter's career. I'm not even sure Potter can survive such poor results. If you can't bring Chelsea through, maybe we will see the dismissal option soon. The Premier League made Chelsea frustrated because they were only able to rank 10th, this was clearly not a satisfactory result for the blues.

Yes, this indirectly affected Graham Potter's career as a coach. Maybe this is the worst season he's experienced when he became the new coach of Chelsea, even though if he can stay at Brighton, his career will probably still be good, but we don't know that bad luck can happen to anyone. However, it doesn't look like the dismissal of the coach will occur in the near future, maybe Chelsea will still give Potter a chance until the next season because this situation is not entirely his fault, the factor of the number of injured players also affects Chelsea's performance.

The problem is that the result is needed here and now and not next season. Imagine Chelsea finishing the season outside of the top 4 (and that's practically a fact) - that would mean that even if Potter got Chelsea back on track by next season, it would still be a big flop. Now Chelsea is showing such results that maybe they will even be outside the top seven, which means they won’t even get into the Conference League (lol).

it's true what some people say, that what happened to Chelsea at this time was not a pure mistake from Potter, but the Chelsea players cannot be blamed because all strategies must have come from Potter

there are many other competent coaches out there, why does Chelsea's management only focus on Potter, if he can't train Chelsea then management must replace him with a new coach so that Chelsea's performance doesn't get worse

I heard Mikel Arteta talking in one of the interviews recently about how arsenal will keep going despite man city coming close in time of points, and truly I have faith in arsenal they have very fine players like saka and Gabriel Jesus are my favorite player, Chelsea is not in form currently and man city taking serious advantage of the situation even at that everybody knows how good man city his especially with goals.

Arsenal are still on a positive note even though last week they were only able to draw at home to Newcastle. Tottenham started the league again with a slight stumble because they had to lose against Aston Villa at home, but in the next match they were able to win again when they crushed Crystal Palace. Arsenal are coming to extend their fine run, but Tottenham will not want to be humiliated in front of their own public.

Tottenham have a really unstable performance. They started the season very well. But they've been playing really badly in the last few weeks. I think Arsenal will be favorites again in this match. Gabriel Jesus is not playing because he is injured. But they still continue to win by scoring very easy goals. Under normal circumstances, Arsenal will win this match. It would be a surprise to me if Tottenham win.

Manchester derby this week will be the most striking match of the week in my opinion. Manchester United had a bad start to the season. But they've been playing great in the last few weeks. Manchester City would have had a better advantage if they had caught them in their bad time. This match is open to the victory of both teams in my opinion.

Not sure if graham potter  could find an excuse to save the job but as far as i know he didnt need that as the club has ensure his place at chelsea is for the long term one and as a chelsea fan ... it is really hurting to see this. Potter deserve a sack!

I see people saying he needs time like Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp but if you look at this coaches, all they did to buy time was to win trophies and so far after the sack of Thomas Tuchel, a quicker turn that this was expected the way things are going is not what's expected. He's no match to Pep Guardiola, I wonder what people be predicting Chelsea would win the game.

Graham Potter is not a big team Coach he will never do well, also if he's a British Coach, for the records,no British Coach has won the premier league, from the start to this very point. If he has human mindset he should go ahead to pen his resignation, I don't think he'll be sack so fast because of how much would be lost.

There is no dismissal talk and won't be any in the near future even if chelsea finished the league outside the european competition , todd boehly have commited to that as part of the risk building the new chelsea in his era , he has spent more than 500 million pounds in his first 7 months.

This is another highly contestable London derby match in their first fixture this season in 01/10/ Arsenal won that match convincingly 3-1 Emirate in the reverse fixture coming up White hartlane, Arsenal cannot afford to lose this match else their five points lead will be reduced to two points if they lost the match while Tottenham will try to consolidate their top 4 position if the win, thus it's going to be a very competitive and keenly contested match between the two rivals, Arsenal last draw match against Newcastle really dropped their points, though Man City who are second on the table will play Man Utd another tough match.

Chelsea needs results and there's no much time left in the league for the top 4 position for Chelsea. You forgot that football is a business and no business man would sit down and watch his business start to fall and the person keeps quite, Therefore Graham Potter is being paid for the job and there should not be any excuses to start giving Chelsea good results because he already saw Chelsea's situation which led to the sack of Thomas Tuchel before he took the job in order to fix the team.

Tottenham Wil prove a very strong team for arsenal when the two teams face each other at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London, Arsenal won the reverse of this fixture last year at the Emirate stadium and I don't see this one to be an easy one for them.
Tottenham themselves are in contention for the champions League top 4 spot and a loose to arsenal will make the increase the gap between them and Manchester United who are in fourth place.
So I don't see am easy win for any side, I see a draw and plenty of tensions and yellow cards possibly Red cards too,
Sure one side or both sides will drop points that day .

For the record, Chelsea was desperate to find a suitable replacement for Tuchel and at that time Brighton was having a decent run with Potter thus they contacted Potter to replace him. It wasnt really working well for Potter but he is not doing bad either, it just seems bad because its Chelsea and they got the potential to sit in top 4 atleast

I won't blame Graham Potter entirely for their losses, but he is to blame because he is the coach and his job is to improve the performance of the players on the field. He has had the majority of the time now to develop and improve the players; this is Chelsea FC, which has a large fan base and is hoping to finish in the top four of the Premier League. He needs to step up and make things happen for the benefit of the club, which could also help him keep his job at Chelsea.

The problem with Graham Potter is that he hasn't been a big clubs coach before, and his first start became with Chelsea having a rough year. Normally if he was hired during July period, that would mean Chelsea would have time to jel with the manager and they would have better results, but he was brought in after a few games, which means he didn't had time to practice during summer time which is the most important time for chemistry purposes.

All he does is seeing his team on match days and a few days more but that's it, there isn't really that much time to sit down and chat because everything is so fast right now. All in all, he is not to be blame only, but he has some blame for sure.

Arteta and his Arsenal side are still sitting comfortably (5 points clear) on the summit of the table even though they drew against Newcastle and it allowed Manchester City to cut the gap a bit, but Arsenal still had a fantastic game and they only struggled to break Newcastle down because Eddie Howe set his team up for a draw, they didn't come for anything else, so they sat back all game long and got what they came for.

Having said that, City are slowly finding their rhythm, but Arsenal have nothing to fear/worry about, they just have to basically continue doing what they've been doing all season. It is going to be a pretty interesting EPL title race and Arsenal might end up Champions, who knows.

Arsenal performance in the Premier league they have chance of winning the league. The quality Arsenal have it will be hard for big teams in the premier league to easily win them . I support that Potter needs some time in Chelsea to do well. He could be among the best coaches in England if given enough time to with a preseason and arrange his team.
He also need every players to be available for his selection but the pressure of sack that always threatens Chelsea coaches will not let him think well and implement his plan.
Chelsea and Potter is the face of media now which is not a good thing for him.
