I have always loved David Silva right from when he played for Manchester city. The guy was simply phenomenal and when he moved to Real Sociedad,  he still was a spectacular player.
He has won some major trophies in his career, spanning from world cup in 2010 to 3 premier league trophies with Man city. This is what most players would only dream of.

Knee injury is not one to take likely and at his age of 37,  the healing process and rehabilitation might take longer and see him handicapped all season. Its a nice move to retire now, but I wished he had retired with a big money move to Arab or MLS sides just like Ronaldo and Messi.

Yeah a midfield maestro I must say when it comes to talking about David Silva. He was crucial man at City and he really was good with vision and feeding some good balls and making good attacking plays. by the way, if I refer to the stats of these two teams. both Ten Hag and Ancelotti, are trying to experiment with some of their players. in this match, Ten Hag tried to rotate some of his players. for Madrid, it seems that Ancelotti is trying to experiment with the new system that he applies. Premier league this season will be different from the one of last season,  last season it was Arsenal and Manchester City that was fighting to get the  championship but this season more teams are joining the race of getting the championship of premier league. Other teams are really getting prepared to come out  with good performance for next season,  it might not be really easy for arsenal to continue to fight to win champions league because their are other teams that will also be challenging to them. The next season is just too unpredictable for arsenal if they will go far or not in the premier league competition.  

Next season's competition will be much more competitive, not only Arsenal and Man City will compete for the premier league title, but many other teams have also made major changes in the current transfer market, so that the competition in the premier league will be even tighter and full of competition. Arsenal will face tough competition because there are many other teams that will disrupt its dominance. If Arteta is not able to play more consistently in directing his team it will be difficult for him to compete in the top three or win the premier league title next season.

Next season it will be difficult to predict the course of the competition in the premier league, but I suspect Arsenal will be out of competition for the title and instead there are other teams that will compete with Man City.
