It is quite remarkable that if Aston Villa wins, Tottenham will be out of the top 4, but just recently (2 rounds ago) Tottenham was in first place. But it’s hard for me to believe in such an outcome, since three defeats in a row would be too unfair for Tottenham. I hope they stay in the title race. Overall, we are looking forward to a great tour with three big games at once.

Last season Arsenal played very well and was at the top of the table until of their best defenders and midfielder - Saliba and Partey got injured and went out of season. This affected them and they started loosing points that is how they bottled the league to Man City.

Statistics were given that since 03/04, that Man City the premier league champions have conceded an average of 29 goals and scored 85 goals while Arsenal has conceded 43 goals and scored 88 goals. So you can see that after the injuries of Arsenal player they started to concede a lot of goals which made them lost the league.

I still think that Manchester City has the best stamina from the top teams and maybe Liverpool is on that level as well. Arsenal also and I have doubts about Tottenham Hotspurs. Their first games were all spectacular with some great results against better teams as well, but I think there could be coming more problems for them in the last few months. And Manchester City is the team that can win 10 consecutive games as they have demonstrated very often.

I am quite surprised by Wolves performance when they meet big teams, luck is always on their side. If you look closely, Ange squad is going through a hurricane of injuries at the moment, I think this will affect the course of the game. However, I am inclined that Ange and her squad will get the perfect points in this match, especially playing in front of their own supporters. I do not like the context here haha, No team in the english premier league is favored to win the league title. Its either you work tirelessly for the league title or be a loser. I can say that Manchester City have the potentials and capacity of winning the Premier League once again this season, let's forget about the absence of Kevin De Bruyne. Even without him they're still a complete team. Having Pep Guardiola also as coach makes City favorite every year for the Competition.
Next in line to be favorites has got to be Arsenal, for they went so far as winning the league last season but they snoozed when they should have wrapped things up against Southampton.

Tottenham Hotspur are another set of bottlers from London. The have a good squad, and they should have prepared for loses of important players like this in the squad. The lose of James Madison is a huge blow honestly.

Whether it will be that fast that Tottenham will get out of the top four and if it really will happen, then it also proves how difficult and competitive the competition in the Premier League is . Because we know, that Tottenham was also previously very strong at the top of the Premier League table, but only two consecutive defeats are enough for Tottenham to prepare to leave the top four . Also in fact, Aston Villa previously lost when playing away against Nottingham with a score of 2-0 and thus, then I think Tottengam can still get points in the home match against Aston Villa. Eric Dier is the one that seems like the closest one but isn't an effective option. So there are lot of things that have gotten wrong at a time when they are in fine form. Good thing is that transfer market is close so they can make signings if they want to but are they really planning to sign some is the main question.

I don't think Tottenham will lose against Aston Villa because if they do, I believe they should give up on the Premier League trophy since they will never be able to top the league again. Harry Kane made a good decision by leaving the club because I don't think he can win any reward or trophy in the club, since he moved to Bayern Munich is performing well and I am very sure he will win trophy and some reward with them and is the highest goal scorer in the Bundesliga and I think he will get the Golding boots in the league, Tottenham need to wake up if they want to win the Premier League, let's see how they will perform after the international break and I believe some of their players are injured, and Son Heung-min cannot play only him in the striking role because Aston Villa are in terrific shape, and I believe they will do their hardest to go up in the league table.

Chelsea could face a points deduction over allegations of hidden payments made during Roman Abramovich's time as owner. Chelsea will be playing Newcastle in their next game they have no option but to win the game.

I could remember when Chelsea was punished in 2019 with a transfer ban. And now deduction of points in the premier league. I feel so much for what Chelsea points deduction could mean for Mauricio Pochettino transfer plans.

Manchester City suffered 3 consecutive defeats in two different competitions, losing to Wolves and Arsenal in the Premier League and losing to Newcastle in the League Cup. Of course Tottenham are still on the right track so far after finishing the first 12 matches with 8 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. That's not bad at all even though they are currently 2 points lower than Manchester City.

Moreover, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are not completely safe in first, second and third positions because Tottenham are not far from them. The pressure of each team increases because the points gap for the top 4 teams is not much, it is only about 1 and 2 points. Tottenham have really disappointed since that defeat from Chelsea, I know the defeat came as a result of the red card in the match but many would have thought they would have bounce back since after that but the case is different as they have continually play with low zeal and poor attacking force that made them drop alot of points in their last two games while Aston villa on the other hand has been excellent even on their European competition as they defeat the dutch giant AZ with ease in their Europa league fixture.

Agreed. The argument that the team should be evenly distributed cannot be a valid argument, as every team has irreplaceable players who, if they get injured, will be replaced by less experienced ones and obviously they will perform much worse, it will affect the game instantly. You can fill the team with high quality players, but there is not enough space for all of them in the starting line up and they will have to sit on the bench, this will not suit many people.

As I said in the previous post, how long and far Ange was able to bring her team to remain at the top of the standings. In the end, in the match against Chelsea, Spurs experienced bad luck with two red cards and two players being withdrawn because they were allegedly injured.

I wouldn't yet call it a big chance to win the Premier League. We just got to see how quickly things can turn around into the negative for them with two losses in a row. It all depends on whether or not they can continue where they stopped before their small losing streak. Otherwise there is no chance to come out on top against Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City. The Premier League is the toughest competition in Europe.

Actually earlier before now it really did looked like they really did had a big chance at the premier league because they were in their winning streak and we're rely looking very formidable amongst all other bigger teams in the premier league and it did looked like they have got all that could help them win the league title this season.

But after their consecutive losses that has happened twice, Tottenham has looked like they are now experiencing a drop in their form and are not looking really strong as before, if we could recall we can remember they had series of red cards against Chelsea and also a few injuries there after so they are definitely going to get affected which I think bis what is really going on with them now because they still have their team dept intact so most likely in the space of a few time they will be back and be able to get back at the top of the table but may not most likely get the league title.

It would be interesting to check how often a team that was not expected to win the title, actually won the title in the end when they led the table after 12 games or so. Well the league is becoming very tougher and we've seen teams like Tottenham that waw once the league leaders loose form and drop on the standings, while Chelsea that started poorly are now becoming stronger and has stolen points against three top teams, however based on Tottenham's injury crisis they might suffer for a while and i don't think it would be possible for them to go back to the top of the league again, definitely not with this recent form.

 Well in their next match their is a possibility that they could suffer another lose, cause Unai Emery's  team is in a good form and could really disturb Tottenham in that game, Olie Watkins is a player to watch in that game cause of his recent good form this season, however Tottenham should taken advantage of their home ground to win the game.

In my opinion, Manchester united has not changed this season, in fact they have experienced a slight decline in starting the league this season, and it is not surprising because Manchester United itself has not really changed the team scheme while still retaining its old players, so it is not surprising that their performance has not changed either.
Maybe there will be an increase in team performance, but it will take a long time and many matches ahead for a coach to find a scheme that is suitable for a team with limited players.

If Manchester United wants to make significant changes this season with the player scheme and the way they play this season, the coach and the team as a whole must really care about this. Especially they have to take advantage of the transfer market when it opens again this season and also change the way they play slowly so that there are more significant changes for the team, because what Manchester United needs now is to win in every game that remains this season.

Manchester United made many changes during the last few years and this team was not stable at all and maybe that's why they had poor performance even after the summer when Manchester United hired the players Ten Hag wanted to have in this team.
I think the most important reason for us to see Manchester United's poor performance is because of the changes Ten Hag made during the summer while Manchester United didn't need some of these changes

It would be interesting to check how often a team that was not expected to win the title, actually won the title in the end when they led the table after 12 games or so. One of the favorite teams to dominate the Premier League title in the last 6 seasons is Manchester City. They are the record holders of 3 consecutive titles since the 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons, but they also have a good chance of maintaining it until this season.

Of course Manchester City is not alone in challenging for the Premier League title this season. Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are also on the same path as Manchester City although I fully believe that Manchester City have the best chance of securing it. I found them leading the standings, so normally it would be difficult for another team to knock them out of the top spot.

Tottenham have really disappointed since that defeat from Chelsea, I know the defeat came as a result of the red card in the match but many would have thought they would have bounce back since after that but the case is different as they have continually play with low zeal and poor attacking force that made them drop alot of points in their last two games while Aston villa on the other hand has been excellent even on their European competition as they defeat the dutch giant AZ with ease in their Europa league fixture.

You cannot blame a team that did not have the squad depth to play well and win matches without more than two of their best and most important first eleven players due to red cards and injuries. Apart from the injuries and the red card, I think they will still be leading the Premier League table by now, but it is quite unfortunate, and Chelsea were able to beat them and expose them to losing matches.

Manchester United made many changes during the last few years and this team was not stable at all and maybe that's why they had poor performance even after the summer when Manchester United hired the players Ten Hag wanted to have in this team.
