The match was going so dramatically. It's always like that. It comes as no surprise that the match between Chelsea and Tottenham is always highly anticipated and guarantees an entertaining display of football. I remember that when tuchel was also confronting conte in the field. It will be so dumb if chelsea would not able to win against 9 men.

You are right and I have seen games that could still be won by a team that was one man down, but I can't remember that I saw a team on that level that was two men down and still won the game. And I mean as you said counter attacks were of course impossible for Tottenham and since this is one of their strongest tactics, it was quite over for them when the second player was sent off. The result in the end was quite high for Chelsea and it could have ended with a goal less than that, but still the win was quite safe for them.

I was very disappointed with the performance of Tottenham's players against Chelsea. Because I was not at all prepared to see such a poor performance from Tottenham at home. Tottenham were in great form. So we had high expectations from Tottenham in this match as well. But Chelsea's players dominated this match. Chelsea had 63% ball possession as well as attacking a lot. And perhaps this is why Tottenham's performance was quite poor. While Chelsea's players made a total of 17 shots, Tottenham's players made only 8. Let's hope we don't see such a poor performance from Tottenham against Wolves. Players need to be more confident.

For me, I just thought Chelsea were more desperate in need of a win that's why they actually played and over powered Tottenham in that game and moreover there was the influence of red card in the match too. Chelsea winning that game will really boost the confidence of the players and for Tottenham they just have to come out from the nightmare because it was indeed a nightmare for them seeing them struggle to actually play the ball against a Chelsea side that have not been too well themselves.

This is the first defeat of the season for Tottenham, so I think this game will not affect their morale and their game in general, everyone has misfires and it is unrealistically difficult to go the whole season without defeats. Chelsea in turn outdid themselves, it was a willful victory, but whether it will continue is far from certain. Tottenham could easily get out of that bad reality even though it happened at home and for Chelsea I don't think there is any need to be too happy about the victory as long as the team still hasn't improved their performance this season. Because the victory obtained by Chelsea was more influenced by the red card received by the Tottenham players which made the number of players from both teams unbalanced so this was really beneficial for Chelsea.

It was a difficult victory that Chelsea managed to achieve. But in this case the victory against Tottenham I don't think it can be used as a reference that they have changed because however seeing the current situation that is happening especially with some big matches they are ready to face in the coming weeks this could make Chelsea return to their previous performance.

I agree with you that Chelsea's last win cannot be used as a benchmark because they are in a better position I mean playing against 9 players if that is a normal match maybe the results will be different, as you said if Chelsea are able to go through the next 2-4 games without defeat, it can be said Chelsea in a positive trend. I personally doubt Chelsea can get 4 points in the next 4 matches unless they get the same luck as against Tottenham, but we know that luck does not come at all times and can't always hope for that situation.

This season the fight for European League tickets seems more interesting than the Champions League ticket, we already know which teams will secure UCL tickets but for the European League Premier League teams have many competitors including Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle there is also Aston Villa who is still consistent which can sometimes surprise the opponent.

Hoping to see Tottenham Hotspur get over their loss against Chelsea as they play tomorrow, it's really going to be defficult to bet on them after suffering such humiliation in the hands of a team that is in a bad shape this season (Chelsea) I think getting a win for Spurs will be a good moral booster for them but they have to work on their performance because they were very very rough on their game against Chelsea that was why they resuted in playing 9 men against 11 at the end they lost woefully. I believe they have worked on the flaws and they are ready to make amends and give their fans a new hope to trust them again.

A winter transfer season is not a good one to buy players. Big clubs will not let their best players to move in the winter transfer window so it's nearly impossible to buy best players for a club in this window. Even you can buy a good player, a new player will not have enough time to adapt to a new club, new team mates or even a new league. It is a big difference compares to a summer transfer season because players will have pre-season training to better adapt to a new club.

Cost to buy good player in a winter transfer season usually is more expensive than in the summer too. If it is not like an emergent situation, no need to join the winter transfer.

But for an urgent need, I think Man United may consider to buy a new player in January transfer window. I'm sure Man United management still expect to finish this season in UCL zone, at least in the top 5 of the table. You're right. There was a club that negotiated with Man United to sign Maguire. I think they already made a good offer, the price deserved for a player like Maguire. Chelsea simply dominated the game because Tottenham Hotspur had two red cards and to make matters worst, the red cards was issued to the defenders, leaving a hugh vacuum open in the defendlines. That resulted in Chelsea frontlines invading the Spurs territory with simple efforts required. I don't consider Chelsea victory against handicapped Tottenham as deserved winning because with complete players, it was not easy for Blues as they conceded a goal in the early minutes of the first halve, then not to mention more about the goal-scoring chances created, Spurs should accept defeat as if it's their fate and focused more on next game.

Chelsea was not able dominating the game when totenham was still playing with the full squads. Missing two players are so hurt for totenham.
We shall forget it as chelsea will be also facing manchester city very soon. City may win the game against chelsea soon. It seems like chelsea is not yet coming back to the its best performance.  Arsenal play hosts to Vincent Kompany's not so fit Burnley and I'm already seeing that they won't find it easy at the Emirates Stadium. Last week, Arsenal lost the chance at securing three points after they lost to Newcastle, no thanks to Gordon's controversial goal and will be looking to not repeat the same thing. Atleast I'm hoping that sitting at fourth spot should have enough sobering effect to not make them lose to 19th place relegation bound Burnley who have only one win to their name.
 I will say I'm quite disappointed at the way Burnley are playing and it's quite disturbing that a team who excelled brilliantly in the championship came to premier league and couldn't find their feet, rather they have become a club which every other club uses to get an easy three points.
Arteta will be looking to show Kompany that of the two of them who sat under Pep's tutelage, he's the better one and I'm just hoping that they won't let this confidence blind them and make them underestimate Burnley because football is a game full of surprises and anything can happen.
 Most fans will be looking at one player today and that will be Kai Havertz if he starts to get a goal or two because he has just managed to find the net once since his arrival and although he has the support of not just the players but the coach as well, I feel he'd need a goal to solidify his importance in the midfield.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Emerson Royal , Pedro Porro and Eric Dier can still make the defense strong. Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. have been struggling this season. I thought that the club will be remarkable this season after defeating Manchester City, but since then the Gary O’Neil side have not been able to put up a good fight.

It look like what happened to Tottenham Hotspur last match that made Chelsea to defeated them will still happen in this match that will make wolves to defeat Tottenham Hotspur 3-1, because they are good in using home strategies to play their opponent like what they did to Manchester city in their home to defeated them, I believe they will still use the same strategy to embrace victory in this match. Tottenham have been the most consistent team this season. No one expected Tottenham to concede their first defeat of the season against Chelsea. But we have to admit that the Chelsea players have performed well in this match. And if Chelsea's players can continue with such performances, they can quickly move into the top 6 of the table. But Chelsea's main problem is that their performances are very erratic. This team suddenly performed well. They are not able to continue good performance consistently. Chelsea will play against Manchester City and Newcastle in their next two matches. I am eagerly waiting to see how Chelsea will perform in these two matches.

It doesn't matter how good a team is. It is almost impossible for any team to win under such circumstances. That's what happened here with Tottenham.

The big mistake was when Spurs decided to focus on attacking, pushing all their defenders forward to the halfway line. The lack of these players did create a dilemma for Spurs, and in the second half, during injury time, chelsea really capitalized on this by delivering a pass to their striker. There's no denying it... Chelsea's performance was truly captivating and exceeded most people's expectations.

it seems that Chelsea is indeed very good at facing big teams like Arsenal, Man City, and Spurs, rather than going up against underdog teams, where Chelsea appears to face a bit of difficulty when dealing with teams in the mid to lower rankings in EPL.
