Vincent Kompany's squad continues to experience defeat every week and places them in the bottom position by only collecting 4 points from the 12 matches they have played. As an EPL promotion team this season, of course these results are very bad and they will likely be relegated if they don't win again. West Ham, led by David Moyes, will try to continue its winning trend after previously managing to beat Nottingham with a score of 3-2. This will also be West Ham's comeback after in the last 5 matches they were only able to achieve 1 win.

This is the Premier League and everything is possible, nobody believes that Bournemouth could beat Newcastle United with a 2-goal difference. Burnley is playing at home against Westham United and if they play well they can beat Westham United or get a draw from them. Burnley should not be underestimated because they will fight for points to get out of the relegation zone.

Yes, it was a very good result achieved by Bournemouth in the match against Newcastle, I agree with you that surely this result was never expected, how could a team that was almost in the relegation zone like Bournemouth be able to beat Newcastle by winning the full three points. And yes we come back again that this is the Premier League, as you said that any result is very possible at the end of the match, not only that, previously we have seen that Chelsea also surprised by beating Tottenham with a landslide score and after that they could also balance the match with Manchester City as a very strong squad in the Premier League, this season is indeed more interesting and many surprises from some weak teams.

Actually, Chelsea performance still not stable yet but in last two matches they are stronger team after beating top standings team Tottenham Hotspur and last week before international break out success make favorite team Manchester City get draw. Chelsea on difficult opponent teams for several matches later but they have good started beat Tottenham Hotspur and one points against Manchester City. Net match Newcastle United I don't think difficult opponent team for Chelsea because The Magpies have focus on other important Champion League match few days later after facing Chelsea.

Newcastle United won't loss their opportunity in Champion League and seems they will make rotation against Chelsea to make their effective performance on Champion League match against PSG.

Well they have really performed very well in last two matches and that too against big sides like City and Spurs. They will be very confident right now and secondly they will be having a great boost with Nkunku return who is yet to be 100% fit but is close to return soon. Newcastle is another tough test for them but with the team coordination they are building right now I think they will fight really hard in upcoming match. Newcastle still shouldn't be undermined here because they have a very good squad and it is very tough to get past their defence and yet past their goalkeeper Nick Pope and Chelsea just now have picked their momentum, so it is still hard to say that Chelsea will find it easy against Newcastle.

I think the confidence that Chelsea have when playing big team right is a big win for them, from the previous games the confidence of Chelsea have been everything. Newcastle is a strong team I so much believe in but I don't think playing with Chelsea will be an easy game for Newcastle. The last game Chelsea played with Manchester City has really proved Chelsea is good enough to face any Premier league team, even the game Chelsea played with arsenal is another game to see how Chelsea have improve in their performance this season,  I think Newcastle and Chelsea meeting will be another interesting game to watch Chelsea how good they have become.

I know there will be opinions like this and I respect it. However, Bournemouth and Burnley are two different teams and Bournemouth's previous victory against Newcastle should be appreciated considering that Bournemouth is a weak team that has been able to survive in the EPL since last season. Burnley is quite different from Bournemouth because this is Burnley's first season after being last relegated in the 21/22 season. Actually, it's not much different, but in appearance Bournemouth is indeed better than Burnley.

So basically West Ham will definitely beat Burnley and regarding other results, the possibility of a player getting injured or a West Ham player getting a red card, that could be a powerful weapon for Burnley to reverse their lead.

Its has always been like that for Burnley in the past three premier league season. They do perform very well in the pitch but fail to attain the 3 points or share the points. I think there are some teams who are  mostly in the premier league as a threat to other teams. They seem out of the competition but could make a stronger club lose the league. When your playing a team like Burnley you need to be more focused in using the opportunity to win. Any slight mistake could jeopardize the opportunity. I have seen such things happen in the premier league. The match between Chelsea and Tottenham. I am certain that Tottenham were in a higher chances of wining that day but the mistake that caused them two players down took away every opportunity. And that was the first time they lost in the 2023 PL season after been unbeaten for almost 5 matches.

No one should underestimate Mauricio Pochettino who's currently the headcoach of Chelsea, he was appointed because the owner, Todd Boehly believes he's a prominent coach and stands in the position to deliver the team at this crucial moment. Chelsea is a top club in EPL, that we shouldn't forget in a hurry. Simply because the Blues experience a bad season the previous EPL campaign, they can still bounce back to form this season because mere watching their games, there performance have increase and there's evidence of growth.

I mean while Manchester City and Liverpool are facing each other in Etihad a possible advantageous result would be helpful for Arsenal to take the lead directly. But on one hand Arsenal had better stay strong against Brentford in that away game of theirs.

This is technically a game that they should be able to win decently. But when it comes to the Premier League it is really difficult to be sure of even favourite teams. Liverpool ended their winning streak by hitting them hard like 3-0. Maybe Arsenal can take advantage of their weaknesses.

This weekend Chelsea faces Newcastle, and they deserves a win. However, Newcastle has proven to be a strong team. In their last meeting in the league cup back in 2010, Newcastle won a seven-goal thriller 4-3 against Chelsea. So, who will come out on top this time? Stats tell a story, but I don't like to rely on that. Things won't be the same as before this time. Chelsea seems to have been steadily improving, while injuries to Newcastle players make the match challenging for them. This time, Chelsea is coming for revenge, so Newcastle should be prepared. I hope Chelsea's players continue to improve their gameplay against Newcastle, which making it an exciting match to watch.

There seems to be something wrong with what you said because this week Newcastle United will face Chelsea at home, while Bournemouth will travel to Bramall Lane where they will face Sheffield United. And Burnley, as the bottom team in the Premier League, will host West Ham United and hope they can beat West Ham United, although I'm not sure that Burnley will be able to do that well at home. Sheffield United itself does have a chance to get out of the relegation zone because the opponents they will face are not too strong this season even though their position is not worse than them at the moment.

He might not read the schedule correctly but that's fine. There will be so many interesting matches to come soon. Public will pay their attention to the match between newcastle vs chelsea and city vs liverpool.
The small matches like what you have written above would not become the main concentration by so many football lovers in the world. I will watch chelsea vs newcastle caused by chelsea is starting to show improved performance unlike last season.
The blues seems ready to climb up as soon as possible and im really grateful to see chelsea perform as well as now. City ver liverpool is going to be another hottest match but i think liverpool will be playing defensively as it will play on etihad stadium.
I don't even see a sense reason to go fully offensive against city at etihad caused by we do know that how scary etihad is for city's opponent.

Yeah it's not a bad performance, they're gaining momentum and to be honest I didn't believe in them at all that they could come close to these results. I wonder where they will finish this season, I think the top 5 or even 6 is already closed for them a priori, there is too much competition and it is unlikely that they will be able to get there

I also don't believe Chelsea have good record in the last 8 matches, because at the start of this season some of their matches were quite disappointing, especially when they lost against a weak team I mean Nottingham. Chelsea played at home and had many golden opportunities, also dominating the match but they lost.
Actually I can't answer that either, because the Premier League very competitive, and the points currently Chelsea achieving are not very convincing. So yes the possibility is not too big for Chelsea to end this season in top 5th or 6th, but also there is still a chance for them because their performance is also getting better.

Yeah another day and another bad news. The bad news has come from manchester united since the club potentially to be banned from UCL if MU and Nice will be going to the UCL next season. It's caused by EUFA didn't allow a club with multiple owner to entry.
This is potentially to prevent manchester united to perform in UCL next season (Only if the club will finish at the top 4). Im still feeling doubt about that.

That's right, Arsenal only hopes that Man City and Liverpool end with a draw so Arsenal will most likely rise to the top of the standings, and even then, if Arsenal is able to win the match against Brentford, at least they can get full points in that match.

It was very difficult to win 3-0 while the opponent Liverpool faced was not a bottom team but last season's defending champion club, so it is very likely that Arsenal will get an advantage in the Liverpool and Man City match.

Actually this is what Manchester united needed, some good changes and help in their front lines rho help with creativity there because the likes of Fernandes has really declined in been creative well enough and make less from what is expected of his performance in the Frontline.

Ten hag should maximize the January transfer window to bring about some good changes and improvement in the team but then very importantly, in as much as getting good new players to help the team is important, its also important he works on his relationship with the players aswell because it has great impact on their psychology which in the later transmits to their performance and results they produce on the pitch.

There is every chance they would win this game though they have some poor away records this season. Since Manchester City will be facing Liverpool it's a game that would be tough and they may both share points if one of them fail to get all three points home. Personally, I feel like its a game that points will be shared, I don't see anyone winning this game.

Gunners should taje good use of them chances and make sure they win this game. Brentford have been a stubborn side even I can recall the season they returned to the Premier League, ( Firsts game of the season, Friday night ) they won against Arsenal. But Arsenal had their own impressive run last season beating all the clubs from London ( Both home and away games )

I don't know why Erik Ten Hag thinks it is necessary to sign Thomas Müller. For the striker position, they already have 3 players. I think there is no need for a new striker because there are Rasmus Højlund, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Martial. These strikers are skillful and have good experience, they are also young players who have a long career. Meanwhile Thomas Müller is an old striker, he seems not in his prime era anymore. So, having Thomas Müller on Man United squad probably won't bring significant impact. If Erik Ten Hag really wants to make Man United be stronger, he needs to rebuild its defense line. They need more stable defenders, especially for left and right backs.

If Man United signs Thomas Müller, it will be only good for Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich will get some money, meanwhile Man United won't get a significant impact from the transfer decision.

He is a speedy striker, ready to outrun the opponent's 4 or 3 defenders. However, it will take some time before he stabilizes. It's funny to say how hojlund was nothing compared to another striker that play for the different club at this moment. Over priced guy, his price is not even worth with his performance at this moment. I would like to see manchester united to get another expensive player to see whether the main problem was on the player or coach itself. This is really important to identify that caused by the future of club will be determined by the player and coach. Haaland's performance was so amazing unlike rasmus which is a flop in EPL.

Chelsea performance is not stable enough because in the 5 matches they have played, Chelsea won 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat, which means they have not shown their consistency so far. I see many people saying that with Chelsea success in holding Manchester City to a draw, they have performed better and that could be true, but if you only measure 1 match to say that they have recovered, of course that is not an impressive achievement. But if they can maintain their best form by winning consecutive matches in the last 5 matches then they have found their true strength.

So next week match will be very crucial for Chelsea because Newcastle United is very strong when playing at home. However, in this match, Chelsea is very favored to win this match because Newcastle united lost many of their core players due to injury. Wilson absence will make them lose their best strength on the front lines. We will see how Newcastle United can play as a strong team without being supported by their core players. Whether Eddie Howe rotation will work when he doesn't have many players to cover the gaps in the team.

Newcastle shouldnt be underestimated. Their team and defence are formidable. Additionally, Nick Pope is a formidable custodian. Chelsea has momentum, but this match wont be easy. We've done well versus top clubs but poorly against defensive opponents. Newcastle's plan at St. James' Park may make it difficult to break through. A close, strategic game is expected, and it will be interesting to watch how we handle it, especially given our previous scoring struggles versus defensive formations.

Chelsea has definitely been more inconsistent compared to Newcastle United. But to be honest both of the teams have been inconsistent in recent times. But I still do not think that Chelsea will even be able to get one point from this match. Newcastle United is going to be very determined to win this one. They started the season in a really good form but they are kind of falling off right now. So they would try to make things right.

Even if I have to say something positive about Chelsea, I will say that they will get only one point max from this match.

When Manchester United signed the young striker I was not that comfortable with the signing not because the striker is not good enough, it is because he is young compared to the amount of money that he was signed with. Those kind of big signing is best for strikers that have played in the English Premier League.

Why who Hojlund is yet to adapt to the English Premier League pattern is because some players like Rashford has refused to help him get a goal, even Bruno Fernandes was supposed to have given him an assist to get a goal in the English Premier League. The young striker is not bad he has the champions league by scoring goals. Yet he is yet to replicate same in the English Premier League. He need the help of the squad as they do to Halland inManchester City
