This match is really hard to predict... Chelsea still hasn't completely won me over, even though their performance is gradually getting better. The return of some players from injury might be the key to the top-notch performance Chelsea could display.

If the performance shown against Manchester City can be maintained, then there is a big chance that Chelsea can beat Newcastle in the match played at St James Park. Moreover, several players have returned from injury so there is no reason for Mauricio Pochettino not to be able to beat Newcastle if Chelsea wants to move up to the top 4 of the Premier League standings.

However, Chelsea's performance when holding Manchester City with a big score was a very good result and it can increase the players' confidence ahead of the match against Newcastle later. It seems that away matches are not a problem for Chelsea as long as they can provide the same resistance against Manchester City and indeed the return of Chelsea players who have recovered from injuries will make them even stronger. Pochettino doesn't seem confused anymore and he will definitely have put together the right formation against Newcastle and will definitely try to steal full points.

Newcastle have a very busy schedule this season. And Newcastle players are not used to playing so many matches. It is very difficult to perform consistently well in the Champions League and Premier League at the same time. However, Newcastle's players continued to try. Although their performance is somewhat erratic, their performance is not weak.

I am worried about how the Newcastle team will play against Cheslea. The Chelsea team has shown great dominance in their last two matches. On the other hand it is Newcastle's home match. Newcastle at home will not want to drop points. And so it will be a tough task for Chelsea to get points in this match.

The bookies may also not favor Newcastle in the match against Chelsea tomorrow. Because actually Newcastle's squad is not at full strength at the moment. Because as far as I know, there are around 8 injured players in the Newcastle squad, such as;

So this condition has really caused Newcastle to experience a slight decline in performance in their last few matches. So I wouldn't be surprised if Newcastle will have a little difficulty facing Chelsea in this match.

This match will be exciting and it would be great if both teams score, but the probabilities for both seem very even.

I am worried about how the Newcastle team will play against Cheslea. The Chelsea team has shown great dominance in their last two matches. On the other hand it is Newcastle's home match. It looks like the bookies are starting to see Chelsea as a strong team and not underestimating them anymore, thanks to their performance in the early part of the season, which was pretty rough. The odds offered suggest that Chelsea is slightly favored over Newcastle, especially since the match is happening at St James Park. If it were at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea's odds could easily be around x1.8 or a maximum of x2.0.

It's caused by bookies were learning from the previous matches. Chelsea was always getting draw against almost all of big clubs in EPL and there's no club that was able beating it. Bookies are thinking that if chelsea is now being favored to win the game.
It's hard to pick but i will try to secure a safe bet by picking double chance. Over 2.5 is also making sense but it's too risky since i was taking the multi bet.

At least we can predict it through using the potential line up. Chelsea has no important players who have been suffering injury while newcaslte as too many players were injured and it's even more than 10 players which are very bad for newcastle.
I think that chelsea may be making a slight change toward the line up. It seems like that mudryk will be fully playing against newcastle along with sterling and palmer. I can't predict which line up is going to be used by newcastle.

IMO, the match against Newcastle will be the key for Chelsea ... will they truly make a comeback and be ready to shake up the top 4, or is it all just bullshit?

If Chelsea wins, at least by a margin of two goals against Newcastle, it strongly suggests that Chelsea is poised to return to the top 4 and compete with Man City, Liverpool, and Spurs. However, if they lose, it's worth reconsidering because that would confirm Chelsea as a truly unstable team.

I agree with you that Newcastle United is not stable this season unlike the way they were last season, this is because they are playing in the Uefa Champions League,  and they are not used to such a situation. I think if they don't qualify for the last 16 of the Uefa Champions League they will be consistent in winning matches in the Premier League. Liverpool might be able to get a point from Manchester City at Etihad Stadium because Manchester City is not at their best form this season.

Yes Newcastle are not used to playing in the Champions League, and by playing in the Chmpions League, their schedule becomes much busier than usual. But it was good for them as a very valuable experience, because Necastle is currently a team that has the potential to return to the Champions League next season.
Their focus is divided, and in the Champions League itself I am very sure they will try their best to get a good experience as well. Even though they are now at the bottom of the standings, their chances are still open to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.

Restarting their existence in the Champions League will certainly not be easy for Eddie Howe troops, but this will also make them more mature and start to get used to playing against strong clubs. So far, Newcastle performance should be appreciated. If they fail to qualify for the group phase, Newcastle can try again next season. Little by little, Newcastle is reintroducing itself to the Champions League. Regarding its performance in the Premier League last season Newcastle performed normally and was able to secure a ticket, but this season the competition in the top 4 of the Premier League is getting tighter after Liverpool's return, which has slightly changed the atmosphere of the weekend, getting hotter.

Pochettino is making good progress these days. Who would have thought they would collect 4 points in the Tottenham and Manchester City games recently? I would never expect such thing honestly but it happened. Besides Chelsea scored 4 goals in each one of these games which was even more surprising to see. 

Chelsea weren't this much productive at scoring goals before but now they are one of such teams. I hope it isn't a temporary process. I expect some consistency from them to recover from their bad situation in the league. There is another tough away game against Newcastle so they had better prepare well for it.

Yeah based on statistics, Chelsea has improved from last season even though at the start of this season they played badly, slowly everything can be resolved I think this is positive progress. If Chelsea does it consistently so Chelsea has the potential to become a competitor for other top teams, apart from that this is the ideal time for the coach to evaluate the team because in a few months the transfer window will open, this means that Chelsea can bring in new players to complete the squad. I personally hope Chelsea will bring in players for the defense line.

Regarding Newcastle vs Chelsea, I just checked the betting markets it seems the bookie doesn't favor any of them the odds for both teams are the same @2.6 for Newcastle and @2.55 for Chelsea I will not choose one of them but for betting I will consider both teams to score @1.65 if we bet YES this is not a bad option right? Newcastle and Chelsea are both hunting for points, therefore I predict both teams will score each other, what do you think about Both teams to score?

I don't know about other users here, or what they think, but for me personally, I think and feel that for Chelsea, their good performances of late have gone past the stage we can simply attribute their success to luck alone, no no.
I think they have naturally improved in their game play overall, this is why they seem to be performing incredibly well even against top clubs that primarily, were suppose to easily beat them(Chelsea).

I am personally looking forward to seeing them climb to the top five or seven atleast, by the end of this season, but this is if they continue with their current good performance of course.

Well, you are completely right, and for me personally again, I believe that if they(Chelsea) could hold down Newcastle the same way they held down Manchester city In their last encounter, they(Chelsea) may likely walk away from that match celebrating as the winners, but again, I am not betting a dime on them, I am just gonna watch, Chelsea is still too frigile to trust with a bet.

With the game against Tottenham Hotspur, I won't say it was luck, the best side should have been Tottenham Hotspur but they couldn't be that at the end of the game due to Injuries and double man sent off from the pitch, this is not the first time Chelsea has dropped Tottenham from the top though! Lol!

Against Manchester City, they deserved the win but Pep Guardiola's men squeezed out with a point from that game. I was impressed with Chelsea during that game for the won the midfied and controlled the game. Whoever control's the midfied controls the game, with that they made good use of the wings. Shout out to Raheem Sterling for making Kyle Walker his granny and props to Cucurellla for holding and gauging Phil Foden down. It was a fair game and Anthony Taylor did his job well that evening.

Impressive display with Arsenal, they should keep better focus against big clubs to be winners. Against Newcastle, they would win but with a small number of goals.

These two games against Tottenham and Manchester City probably saved his ass  These games in particular were the right results at the right time for him. If those were two more of those array of disappointments against some teams from the bottom table, I think Pochettino could have been fired by now. But with those two games he created a lot of hope for the team and also for the Chelsea owners. Of course that's exactly what could happen because the match is going to look like Manchester City and Chelsea match that almost everyone was expecting Manchester City to win Chelsea but they ended up playing draw, so however these match Chelsea and Newcastle United will surprise everyone with the outcome of it because the two teams are in the same form, and however Chelsea are mostly good whenever they meet the bigger teams but when it comes to the club that are of the same performance with them they always finds it difficult to win.

So perhaps in as much as most persons are thinking Chelsea will win Newcastle United we should also consider that Newcastle United has made more winings than Chelsea and even on the premier League table they are far better than Chelsea.

Erik Ten Hag and Raphael Varane's relationship has been damaged

It all started at the Manchester derby last month when the two had a difference of opinion and ended in a rift between the two. Reportedly, Raphael Varane is not happy that Erik ten Hag prefers Johny Evans over him and I am also a bit surprised why Raphael Varane is not starting again after recovering from injury. I think competition between players is quite natural, but throwing away Raphael Varane for Johny Evans or Harry Maguire in Manchester United's defense is a bit selfish. After Ronaldo, De Gea, Sancho, and now it's Raphael Varane's turn to be the target of this Dutch coach. Do you think Erik ten Hag's actions were correct? Or is he actually the source of chaos in the Red Devils squad?

Everton knew how hard to achieve 10 points when we are entering at the middle of season. The chance for everton to be relegated became even bigger. this makes the club will be trying to defend its points.

Everton are prepared to fight the Premier League over their recently imposed ten-point penalty and are confident that it will be drastically reduced or even rescinded, 90min understands.

That has reminded me with what juventus did when it was receiving the first sanction. Juventus was also defending it then the club was able getting the points back again. Will it happen to the everton? We know that if everton has the right to defend itself but it has small chance for the club to rollback again its points. I hope everton will get back its points even thought the chance is quite small.

I don't think Chelsea management will lose much faith in Pochettino before he finishes the season. Pochettino is starting to find a good formula for Chelsea's game and so far they are starting to get into good form. Everything seems to be starting to do as expected although I'm sure Pochettino really wants more, but at least Chelsea's game is starting to get better now.

The match against Newcastle will be good for Chelsea. Of course they hope to win at their opponent's home ground even though I'm sure Chelsea won't get it easily from Newcastle. You missed two players e.g. Sancho and Maguire.

I start to think these problems might be caused by Ten Hag's egoism, not always the players are wrong. Sooner or later it might be Bruno or Rashford because they're senior in this team or maybe every people in Manchester United is selfish.

I believed the Magpies will not make it to the next phase in UCL this season. With their previous performance, they don't stand a chance. The UEFA Champions League competition is one of the major tournament that's drawing the living strength from Newcastle, featuring against elite teams and having absolutely nothing to bother about. Newcastle United will not meet up the standards required of them this season. Eddie Howe and his players are currently struggling, and this might turn out to be a negative decline in the team's performance.

Yes indeed, Newcastle still does not have the same good squad depth and thus, then at least it will still be difficult for Newcastle to get a stable performance with a schedule like this. Therefore, maybe if for example Newcastle only finishes in fourth place in the Champion League later, then Newcastle will get a good focus in the Premier League again. But ya, for the next match against Chelsea, at least I will also still doubt about Newcastle at this moment. But even so, ofcourse the match will still be interesting to watch and about Liverpool, I personally might be a little more confident to choose Liverpool to win.

Honestly, we can not deny that Chelsea's performance has increasingly improved in their last matches but the problem with Chelsea now is lack of consistency. I know it's not possible to win every match but the level of inconsistent Chelsea is displaying is second to none when it comes to maintaining the team form. The players are not been over used because they are only playing EPL and EFL this season and they have every reason to be fit and should give out their best to the team and the fans. Sadly, the way you see Chelsea perform in one match will be very far different from what they'll perform in another and you'll wonder if it is the same Chelsea that play the last match.

Normally, Newcastle are not supposed to outplay Chelsea but don't be surprised if you see Chelsea giving in and make Newcastle feel like a top team. At this point, it's not advisable for one to place bet on this game with direct win but you can risk it with goals ov/un because hardly to end that game with goalless draw.

Arsenal have to perform well to even claim that top because Brentford that they are face are not easy to score, they are very strong and confident when playing, this match is going to be tough, as  for my own view I can't predict this match, even though I see that Manchester United win Brentford and Arsenal are far better than Manchester United now, it doesn't give me any hope, but I know Arsenal are very stronger than Brentford. As for Manchester City vs Liverpool there is going to be war, I want them to draw and gunners to win, so they will take the lead.

Arsenal does have the opportunity to take first place from Man City, assuming the match between Man City vs Liverpool ends in a draw. But, Brentford is an opponent that is not easy to beat, moreover, in this match, Brentford will be playing at home. For this reason, Arsenal must play with all their might because once they are careless, Brentford could become their nightmare.

Apart from Arsenal, Liverpool also has a chance to take first place from Man City but this chance is not that big considering that the opponent they will face is Man City who is playing as the host. What is clear is that this match will be a tough battle for both of them.

Most of the premier league teams are not that easy to be fair, that doesn't matter to me at all because I like to bet on the favorite most of the time, but that doesn't make the other teams easy. I mean Liverpool, city, arsenal, they are all great teams and I understand the situation, but even sheffield is not that easy to beat, looks like they are easy to beat, but if they are on their day, the squad is not actually all that bad, you should realize that they are quite good in the end.

I believe that we need to see the situation change a bit in order to move further with it. I think it's quite important to make sure that everyone is doing the best they could possibly do and they should be trying to win no matter how easy the opponent looks.

If you look at the previous match history of Pochettino squad, the Blues should be able to secure full points when they visit St James Park. Based on this fact, I think Chelsea can continue their positive trend, even though Newcastle acts as host.

Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City couldn't beat Chelsea, so I don't think Newcastle will be able to either. I see that there is prestige at stake when meeting other big clubs, the Blues only want to lose to a mediocre club like Brentford. Furthermore, I really understand that Newcastle is a club that is quite capable of causing surprises, but due to the large number of player injuries, it will be difficult for them to beat Chelsea.
