Chelsea responded very well and they've been playing well. The offside trap was well kept but Cucurellla failed to make his moves smarter.
I'm suspecting the game to end as a draw, we'll see no more goals in the second half in my own opinion.
I feel like the lad Alexander Isak has been rushed into the lineup too quickly, good positioning and timing for that goal. Chelsea also have to invest in a new Goalkeeper.

So many mistakes to correct in the second half else Newcastle will takeaway the whole 3 points or end draw as you predicted. Ten Hag is very much like a dictator. First, he always thinks his decision is right. More importantly, because of Ten Hag's nature, Ten Hag's relationship with the squad players is not good. If the relationship between the coach and the players of the squad is not good then good results can never be desired. A friendly relationship between the players and the coach is what makes the players so confident. However  Ten Hag should be sacked quickly by Manchester United management. Otherwise, the Manchester United team will not be able to be in the top four of the table this season.

Man city is a difficult team to beat when at home so imo, Liverpool did a good job to get the bare minimum of 1 point from that match since it looked like Liverpool were doomed to lose the match. Liverpool is a team that loves dominating and controlling games and when they are not allowed to do that (like today) they'd play horribly.

After the first half, I thought Liverpool would pick up momentum but it wasn't that easy. I didn't enjoy the fact that Klopp will name Jones in the starting line up and leave Endo and Gravenberch on the bench.  Wither Gravenberch or Endo for Jones is a no Brainer.

Cucurrella failed to watch the offside line and this led to the goal by Newcastle United. Thanks to Sterling for that wonderful free kick. Jackson has been terrible in this game. He has failed to make any meaningful move in the attack. I think he shouldn't be in the first team. Chelsea has just conceived two quick goals. Now Newcastle is two goals ahead and I doubt if Chelsea will recover from this game.

I don't care whatever the reason, what is clear is that I am grateful to Liverpool because a draw against Manchester City will of course make Manchester City and Liverpool anxious. The reason is that Arsenal will overtake both of them and if Arsenal wins against Brentford, then Arsenal will lead the standings.

A quite fierce battle between Newcastle and Chelsea. Even though Newcastle played at home, they couldn't really dominate the game and even Chelsea had more shots on target than Newcastle. I think the match will be even more exciting in the second half because both teams are definitely aiming for victory. I have always imagine the Chelsea and Newcastle United match to be like this because Chelsea are not really much in a good this season and the only way they were able to win Tottenham Hotspur and drawing there match with Manchester City was because of there history on meeting big team, but most people misunderstood it to think that for Chelsea to win Tottenham Hotspur means that they have come back to there previous form.

I actually knew that Newcastle United is more in a good form than Chelsea because if you check there performance very well you will see that they have been making more winings than Chelsea.

It would be difficult for Chelsea to comeback from this since they are now down to 10 men, with Reece James being sent off for a foul he committed in the 73rd minutes. The way I see the game, Newcastle won't be bothered at all because second half, Chelsea failed to bring the confidence with which they used to draw the first half, we see them making silly mistakes and if you ask me, I feel Pochettino has thrown in the towel already.

Honestly, with their stellar performance before the international break, I expected they will demolish Newcastle but no, it just proves the point that they usually perform poorly whenever they come back from an international break. Well for me, I'm tired of seeing them in the 10th spot, it's as if they are not progressing.

Edit: Newcastle have taken the opportunity of the red card to punish Chelsea as the scoreline is 4-1! Omg! You can always count on the Magpies to deliver without disappointment and I'm very anxious to hear what Pochettino has to say to the fans.

I was just surprised that Manchester City couldn't score another goal in the match, they wasted a lot of opportunities that they could have scored. Everyone thought the match would be kind of interesting, but Manchester City dominated the match, they played well, but the most embarrassing part is that they couldn't score more than 1 goal in the match. Seriously, Kevin De Bruyne's absence is really affecting Manchester City. I am sure if Kevin De Bruyne was present in today's match, they would have scored more than a goal in today's match.

Why are you surprised that's football for you, sometimes the games favours you and sometimes no matter how hard you try , it doesn't just add up and no matter how many the chances keep coming the final goal doesn't just seem to come and that was the case with city in this game. Indeed Manchester city have really missed his presence and that's why I always beg to argue that Kevin de byrune is the most important player in the Manchester city squad, I mean the man is a master mind in the midfield and he is just like  the prime time Barcelona's XAVI and Andreas INIESTA.

It’s all over for Chelsea as Newcastle has scored yet another goal to increase the scoreline and solidify their lead and chances of having a win in this game. Gordon for Newcastle scored the 4th goal almost effortlessly. The game is pretty much over as there is no coming back from this for Chelsea. And being a man down doesn’t help their chances.
Newcastle has been dominant in this second half and has controlled the game unlike the first half. I thought Chelsea would have a fighting chance and it briefly looked like they did in the first half of the game.
Good game and a likely win for Newcastle.

The teams had very little time to get back in order after the international games, especially Liverpool which played away, so I'm pleasantly surprised that Liverpool were able to get a draw. Overall, an excellent result, since now both Arsenal and Tottenham (and even Newcastle, which will now obviously take 3 points) will be able to surpass/get closer to City.
By the way, as I said a long time ago, City had the easiest schedule of games at the beginning of the season, but now, on the contrary, it is very difficult and they have steadily begun to lose points, I hope this trend continues.

Guardiola did it again, not a single substitution for the whole match, I don’t know why he sometimes makes such decisions, it looks strange because Klopp made five substitutions and it is clear that Liverpool had fresher players on the field and perhaps thanks to this Liverpool were able to equalize score. It is difficult to evaluate such a match, I liked City more, but Liverpool managed to play this match to a draw, perhaps this is a fair result.

And now Arsenal will have a chance to beat Brentford and come out on top, I think their chances for this are very good. Newcastle surprise again with a 4:1 win against Chelsea.
