The impact of the points deduction is unlikely to change Everton's mentality to immediately escape the relegation zone and a 3-0 win without reply against Newcastle at home is a very impressive result. I didn't expect Everton to do this and send Newcastle home without taking a single point. Even though it is clear that Newcastle will be targeted to win quite easily in this match and they also really control the course of the match. But every opportunity that Everton had was utilized well and converted into many goals.

McNeil, Doucoure and Beto were the goal scorers in this match and Sean Dhyce is certainly very happy with the performance of his players. Once again, Newcastle's inconsistency was questioned in this match and they will be pushed even further into the middle of the table if they continue like this. Anyway, congratulations to Everton for this win and they should continue their winning trend in the upcoming matches.

With all the form Newcastle has had this season, they have played against many teams much stronger than Everton and have won them, but it is only Everton that Newcastle will not be able to defeat. If someone were to tell me that Everton will lose to Newcastle, I would not believe them because Newcastle is playing so well that you can even think that they will beat any team. Imagine Everton defeating Newcastle 3-0; that is too much for Newcastle.

And while I am aware that Everton is just as good as Newcastle this season, Newcastle is currently ranked seventh in the Premier League, I have been wondering why it is that sometimes, teams in good shape play in a different way. I had assumed that Newcastle was planning to be in a strong position to qualify for the Champions League, but after their performance yesterday, I have come to doubt that they will be able to do so.

This is the reason people say England is the toughest and hardest league in the world,it is results like this that make us conclude about that.Newcastle is a very good team especially when they see big teams,they try everything possible to bully them and win them because they are always very phisical while playing.Everton on the other hand knows that they are a very strong side and are always very physical,so they decided to play thesame way with them,but Newcastle were unable to withstand the pressure brought by Everton and the result ended up being in favour of Everton.
Newcastle to me might not be able to reach the height they reached last season,reason being that most teams in England have understood their pattern and their method of play,and have deviced a way of playing them.

These surprising results happen from time to time, but the Premier League is the hardest league not necessarily because Everton has beaten Newcastle. I think it is more because the Premier League has like six teams which could be involved with the fight for the title until the end. Now in the last few years before Liverpool had a weak time, it was really about Liverpool and Manchester City. But the quality of the games on average is higher than in any other league no matter what the matchup is.

No one is talking about the efforts Mikel Arteta has put in the Arsenal team for the past three seasons. He has gone to the extreme to develop the boys and push them to their limit. I believe i am not the only one who feels his way but he deserves a league title in his career as a manager in Arsenal. Read what Jurien Timber says about him

They remind me of Napoli who did same with Ac Milan who came from behind to win the Italian league. They ended up winners last year ans I suspect this is the same thing that'll be done by Arsenal.

A little bit disappointed they couldn't grace the chance to win the Premier League title in them best season. This season? They still remain my favorites for the Premier League Competition. GODSPEED!

Mikel Arteta's a good coach who really learnt from Pep Guardiola during his short term with em. He's indeed upped the performance of the club and the players, seen some big players who we think are undropabble leave ( Lacazette and Per Emerick Aubameyang ). He was well backed by the management and of the club and I feel like this is the perfect season to see Arsenal winning the Premier League Competition/ Tittle!.

Arteta is a good coach who manages based on modern advances in football tactics, which is why he gets rid of old players who he believes cannot provide the best for the squad and brings in fresh players who can do the job for him and the club. Arsenal's management supported him because the fans wanted something different, and they were also trying to restore Arsenal's dignity because the team was losing value and becoming an average team; and the opportunity they gave Arteta changed the club and has now made Arsenal one of the best teams in the EPL since last season.

I didn’t blame Arteta for last season’s League failure because we should understand that the players lack experience and the team lack squad depth, but Arteta has corrected some things by signing more players to increase the squad depth and make sure he diversify his way and style of playing so that the team will not be completely predictable, and it has been working for the team till now because Arsenal are showing their quality and might end up winning the league this season.

Tottenham team has sunk already, have you notice how badly they have lost to their opponent after first scoring against their opponent in every match. They will be the first to score before the end of the second half they will begin to flop to concede goals. All of their lost match has ended in 1-2 at their lost.

I didn't expect Tottenham to lose against West Ham since I saw Tottenham in good form and they are playing at home, therefore they would strive to win the game in order to tie Manchester City in points.
In the league, but they play poor games in the second half because when Tottenham is leading 1-0, I expect them to win the match because Tottenham's performance in the first half is very good and in the second half they play weak games, which surprises me. Postecoglou needs to repair this and make the team better because I thought Tottenham would win the Premier League this season because they are top of the league and performing well, and many people are saying that they will win the league trophy, Because of how they are playing, they will not drop any points but when they face Chelsea, they lost the match and they have not come back with there fitness yet.

Apart from Everton's revival, Newcastle's team this season is really down compared to last season and they are also inconsistent, I doubt that Newcastle this season will be able to enter the top 4 again like last season.

I like their game because they play very well on the pitch and I am confident that if they continue to perform like that, they will be in the top four in the league table. Tottenham vs Newcastle will be a tough match this weekend because both clubs have lost their last two league matches. I can't predict who will win, but I can say Tottenham can have a luck to win the match because they are playing at home and have a greater advantage more than them in the game.

Managed to pull off a dramatic 3-3 draw against the defending Champions Manchester City away from home and then 4 days later lose to West Ham United at home. In the last 5 games, they have lost 4 and drawn one. Tottenham has lost 14 points from winning positions in a game since November 6. This is a fast sinking ship that needs a quick solution before it's too late.

Yes, it's a terrible fall from the very top. Unfortunately, in the next round Tottenham plays with Newcastle and again one of the two good clubs (in the sense that I sympathize with them) experiencing problems will again lose points. And I wouldn’t even be surprised if they play a draw and thus it will be a negative result for both clubs. But oddly enough, this whole trio of losers (Tottenham, Newcastle, United) is not so far from the tournament favorite City.

It’s been a very good start for Tottenham. They were doing well when the season started; they are the ones I was thinking they would be on the table and maybe be the favourite team this season, but unfortunately, Tottenham's performance started declining, and none of us think their performance will be as poor as it is now this season due to the way they started the season. However, not the way they even started surprises me, but how they went to the face position in the standings and now are in the 5th position, which is poor for them. Seriously, they should double up the effort and play, although I know other teams have already gotten the standings, but at least they should stop losing games. They lose many games, and I didn’t expect them to be like that this season.

Based on statistics between the two teams playing balanced but I think this is a matter of stamina when the match entered 78 minutes Everton scored the first goal then score 2 more goals this is not the first time I saw Newcastle lost towards the last minutes because previously Liverpool had done it so I think Newcastle players have run out of stamina so they can't withstand attacks. Besides that Everton does need points to get out of degradation at least this time they managed to go up to 17th position but in the next match they will face Chelsea Everton are playing at home but are not sure they can beat Chelsea because currently Chelsea is unpredictable sometimes they can be favorites and sometimes they disappoint so the conclusion is unpredictable.

Since the last 2 seasons, Everton has always managed to overcome relegation finished in 17th and 16th place, for this season I think they are still in the same area therefore we really cannot predict how they will play in each match including in the upcoming match against Chelsea. I predict both teams will score goals  but cannot determine who will win.

Newcastle losing this match was due to some errors while they were about building from the back, but this is in not supposed to be an excuse because they’re one of the 4 teams representing England in the UCL which is a big stage and when compared to Everton who are in the relegation zone, they’re bigger and bette. But mistakes happens and yes, lessons have been learnt.

 Now Everton who’ve secured 3 points and gotten out of relegation zone, will be playing a wounded Chelsea team who’ll be coming into this match with wounded hearts from Old Trafford, I think Everton won’t have any point at all in this fixture, Everton will still struggle this season but one thing Is sure, they’ll be safe from relegation.

BTW, to be honest, I don't like the style and system that Eddie Howe applies. Plus, the Newcastle camp is being hit by a storm of injuries. It will be a problem for them to get through the match, including the away match to Everton's headquarters. The problem is in the stability. Mikel Arteta has rebuilt this Arsenal team not just to his own standard but also past the standard of what the fans thought or believed and that’s one more reason why the board is backing him up quite much so as to get them the League Title which they fell short of last season, and so far they've really worked hard as a team to maintain a good form and get their self to the very top of the league, however they don't need to relent but work on winning the busy match schedule this month.

 Arsenal will be gunning for the league and as it stands they’ve got a better chance to win the league than he mistake they had last season, squad depth made them falter an extent but I think this season Arteta has built a good squad that would be able to keep up for long.They are top favorites for the Premier League and they’ll be a team to watch for that competition.

That is the Premier League for you, you are not sure of winning a match until you play the match and win. A day is coming when an unexpected team in the Premier League will beat Aston Villa very well, just like what happened to Newcastle United at Everton home. If Tottenham continues in this way they will find themself fighting for relegation before their injured players will return.

But the Newcastle players were not able to execute their attacks well Not only that, they did control the game and the ball, but they only reached midfield, and were then hit by counter attacks several times. Of course, these are conflicting conditions at the start of the season especially for Tottenham and Manchester City, but these two teams still have time to put things right before it's too late.

Funnily enough, bookmakers continue to rate City as overwhelming favorites in the title race. Their chance is estimated as 1.25, before this round the chances were as much as 1.1, but even now, after such a significant correction, this seems to me to be an overestimation of City. In the end, City has two direct competitors ahead - Arsenal and Liverpool. The likelihood that at least one club will be better is much higher than last season when only Arsenal was in the lead and City’s task was easier.

I was strongly considering to pick Newcastle in a parley and play it safe with a double chance but immediately trashed the idea because Newcastle have been largely inconsistent with their results. It was just a few weeks ago that Trippier got angry at a fan after that defeat to Bournemouth in November. But I was surprised to see Everton put 3 past them. With Nick pope out, Newcastle is bound to concede a lot more goals.

For Tottenham, no words. Since that Maddison injury, they've had shocking results to say the least. Losing at home to Aston Villa and West ham but we're real solid on Sunday against City.

They actually did deserve it because they were the better team just that Newcastle are well structured at the back that’s why it was hard for Everton to get pass them not until the double error from Trippier which they capitalized on. The two goals might come as a gift but with the kind of press they mounted Newcastle they deserve the goals and the three points.
