That win Villa had against Man-City was a big boast for Villa's momentum against Arsenal and the early goal Aston villa got around 7mins in the game gave them a bigger moral to excellently hold arsenal to a stand still that despite how clinical arsenal were in the second half they still couldn't get a goal except for the the goal scored by harvertz but was disallowed by VAR as a hand-ball.  Arsenal were quite unlucky in today's game, in football there are good and bad days, today should be taken as one of those bad day for arsenal, not even a draw was at hand.

Gadrdiola will definitely be in his worse mood now, seeing his reaction when an opponent gets a goal against him is enough to tell how unpleased he will be with the results he got by the end of the match, against a team they will consider to be weak , sadly this team won them flawlessly in a 3-0 victory such that they were unable to get a goal.

Indeed it was a boost to villa as their confidence was above regular and they were able to face the gunners head on and came out victorious, they knew that the Early goal was luck turning out on their side so they had to defend it because they were aswell aware that if the gunners gets an equalizer then definitely they may loss the game but then if they are able to defend their only goal and probably get another then they will win which was basically their mentally in the second half

This isn't a matter of luck. But the Newcastle players were not able to execute their attacks well

There's no way we can say that a win that span to 3:0 is a luck. That is not a luck. A luck should be about 1:0 winning but anything more than that is not a luck again. It was a deserved winning. I wasn't able to view the match, so I was amazed at the result.

So, I'm still confused as to why some people still attribute this to luck, even though this is due to the extraordinary efforts of the players. And indeed Newcastle's game was quite bad in yesterday's match. So, Everton can really optimize this opportunity very well.

Aston Villa is really awesome. Last week they were able to beat Man City and this week Arsenal... I really didn't expect it. Even though the goal was very narrow, 1 - 0, a win is still a win. And in the end, Aston Villa has really become a club that is highly considered in the EPL this season. There is only a small point gap between the other leaders in the standings. This is really interesting. This condition is really different from Man United's further slump following their 0-3 defeat to Purnemouth.

This season is the most interesting season I have ever witnessed in the premier league in terms predictions and outcome of the games.The no one spot "the leading team" is like a hot seat for the big teams this season and non of the major contending team spend time on top of the table and they go down, with the pattern I'm seeing playing out this season, I kind of think that the league is between Liverpool and Arsenal than it is in the hands Manchester city. Aston villa played well by holding on 1-0 victory until the end of the game and giving Liverpool chance to lead the table.

Now i`m annoyed of the big team, Arsenal suffered same fate as city against Aston villa while our beloved man united who has only the ability to beat chelsea was trash by  bournemouth today. Currently Aston Villa is only 1 point away from Arsenal and 2 points away from Liverpool meaning it only takes one match to catch these 2 competitors and it's not something impossible moreover, I see that Aston Villa's next opponents are an easy team while Liverpool and Arsenal will fight each other on December 24 well that was the right moment for Aston Villa to get closer or even take over the standings, this will be interesting to wait for.

Liverpool team has got this strong fighting spirit and that mentality is that of champions. They don’t stop  till the final whistle and that’s one quality that has helped them quite a lot this season. Because on several occasions they’ve come from behind and gotten all 3 points. Yes, the league is still very much open as we’ve over 20 plus games to go but we can see the strength of this Liverpool side.

 Yea, the table could also turn especially when you look through the fixtures of the top 4 teams, there could be some changes in the standings of the league leaders but still I’m tipping Liverpool for the league because of the strength it’s shown. I hope Arsenal would give them a run for the league title.

We weren’t good today, just like we weren’t good against Sheffield United in midweek or Fulham last weekend but we just keep getting the job done.

It’s looking much better for us than last season but there are still so many games to be played. I’m cautiously optimistic but I don’t want to get carried away.

Absolutely. I thought so too. The performances we have had against those teams you mentioned were not so impressive. We nearly lost at home to Fulham and For a moment today at Selhurst Park today, I thought we'd lose the game. We went 70 minutes without a single shot on target. These are the reasons why Premier League matches are not predictable. For Manchester United’s case, I expect them to win this match after their outstanding performance against Chelsea, but they were not lucky enough and lost the match to a team they never expect losing to.

That's premier league for us as surprises of this nature always happen and that's what makes the league competitive and interesting, Manchester united losing to Bournemouth didn't come as a surprise to me because I've already analyze Manchester united and Chelsea as teams that win and lose like they will win a match and either draw their next match or they lose. In the case of Arsenal, though Aston villa isn't also an easy team as they succeeded in winning Tottenham and Manchester city that are stronger teams so definitely I didn't see their match against Arsenal as a simple game but I never expected Arsenal to lose that match.

Liverpool topping the league table now is very nice because they really worked hard for it so they deserve to be at the top whether temporarily or for a long time but I don't see Liverpool giving up the top of the league soon as they will play their upcoming matches with lots of energy though they have European matches to play as well so fatigue might really affect some of their players but however, I wish them well this season.

Hopefully they'll be consistent with the performance, Unai Emery has now won Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta. The both teams I consider capable of winning the Premier League Competition this season.
