Manchester City made me really worried about them for once during the Luton game. Because when I saw Luton scoring first it was quite surprising to me. I know how their condition is in the league these days. But they played against one of the easiest teams to beat. They won the game maybe but it should have been much more comfortable than that.

Haaland wasn't even in the squad today by the way. I saw it like he was injured but this wasn't much convincing to me. Maybe Guardiola just didn't want to bring him to Luton. But there was no need for him to win the game of course. Alvarez filled his place nicely.

I think, this injuries is really affecting the Manchester city players and it has made them to look small to some small teams they used to defeat with many goals with so much strength through out the match. Many people nearly lose hope in this match when Luton Town gain access to Manchester city goalpost to scored first goal to lead the match1-0 for the favour of Luton Town in the first half. But despite Erling Haaland was not among the players, they where able to succeed to defeated Luton Town 1-2 in the second half to prove to people that they will soon return back to the first position in the premier league table when their potential strikers recover from their injuries.

This victory is very valuable after they could not win in 4 consecutive matches. Even though they had to fall behind first, they managed to turn things around in the second half and make them win. Overall, nothing has actually changed from Mamnchester City's appearance, it's just that now they are quite declining in terms of scoring goals. I don't know what the main cause is, and one of the things I got from my analysis, the enemy began to know how they attacked and created goals, so the opponent began to anticipate the very dangerous things done by Manchester City.

Finally Tottenham have managed to put an end to their bad streak in the Premier League by a great performance.    They played very dominantly against Newcastle home and had a great day at finishing as well. Richarlison and Son were in their good days to carry their team. Richarlison scored 2 goals while Son had 1 goal and 2 assists.

I would have liked to see the same performance from Tottenham against West Ham as well. But this is still a good step forward for starting to recover. Next time they are facing Nottingham away which is technically a more comfortable game. The winning streak should be continuing.

Just like Mamnchester City, they got a very valuable victory this week and can make their morale even better. It is a very difficult thing when they are at the top of the standings and after that receive consecutive negative results and ultimately place them from the top 4 of the standings. To be able to get up and be able to win again like this is really something difficult, especially the opponents they face are also opponents that cannot be underestimated.

On the one hand this is a good result for Tottenham, on the other hand this is bad news for Newcastle because they suffered another painful defeat in this match. Yes this is their 6th defeat in the Premier League and is their second consecutive defeat, and is their 3rd defeat in the last 5 matches.

Todd Boehly is a businessman and he hopes for quick profits by building his club by buying players at fantastic prices but unfortunately, there has been no change, there was hope when Pochettino took charge of Chelsea and pre-season showed different things but unfortunately they are back to being an average team, they target can certainly get a position in the Champions League, but seeing how they have been able to win but also lose very badly with other teams to enter the European zone it seems difficult to achieve and maybe they will only end up in mid-table like last season if they can get a better ranking but did not occupy the top seven.

Obviously Chelsea will continue to get frustrated with their results if no new thing is done in the club until the end of the season ,you can't be doing the same thing over and over again and expect to see or get a different result, No way. One major problem I have discovered from Pochettino tactics is that, he's not defensive minded and not taking the defense line as priority, always conceiving goals even when he is not supposed to. For about or more than five seasons or even not a decade, this is the time I see Chelsea with worst defense mechanism.

Yep that's right, since Todd Boehly took over the club a lot of controversy has occurred, be it a matter of spending on players who are careless and sacking coaches who make no sense. Currently chelsea has a lot of changes both in terms of the game and the mentality of the players, I'm sure the chelsea dressing room after consecutive away defeats must be chaotic, moreover experienced players in the EPL such as Rahim Sterling are reserved, Chelsea does not have much time to clean up soon half the season will end if this continues next year Chelsea will not play in the UCL again.

I also feel that Man City is still the favorite to win this season even though it is currently in fourth place because I believe Pep Guardiola will do something to revive his team so that they can recover quickly.

This week's match was quite surprising where many top teams suffered defeat simultaneously, such as Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle, even Liverpool and Manchester City also almost suffered defeat even though in the end they managed to secure three points.

Manchester United losing is normal and not too surprising for most Premier League fans. LOL
But yes, in week 16 a lot of unexpected things happened. Chelsea and Manchester United, as I have said, have unstable performances so that defeats have become commonplace. But Arsenal, Newcastle, West Ham United lost beyond predictions.

We, Liverpool are very confident of winning. In the gambling thread I once said that I didn't expect Liverpool to win big, just a small win would be enough to put pressure on their competitors.

Now competition on the standings board will be more interesting, especially for the first, second and third positions because it only has one point difference.

That's it. The second half of the Premier League will be even more interesting if this situation continues.

With all have been going on with Man UTD is like some of us are not seeing what's happening with the way the other players treat the attacker they have, talking about Hojlund, because to me these Manchester United players don't acknowledge Hojlund and what he can do.
Why would you have a player you call an attacker to get goals for the team and they're not giving him that opportunity to do his work? Is so sad to me.
Being selfish won't get goals for the team and McTommy who was ones a bench warmer is now the highest goal scorer for the red devils (if I'm not mistaken). Tommy creates chances and even finds himself in the 18 yard box to get a goal, that's his own part but not helping the player Hojlund not giving him the ball is not healthy for the player and it will kill his morale, the coach need to address this individual football United are playing.

The Red Devils can become an excellent competitive team in EPL this season, they have objectives that can be prioritized as the subject of their struggles this current season. Manchester United coach, Erik Ten Hag should address his squad properly specifically the midfield and the frontlines, these players should create good chemistry within themselves. Rasmus Højlund is a confident striker, he can not do well in Manchester United, he can yield into becoming the top striker everyone fancy him to be during his days at Atalanta.

The Chelsea management has refused to come to the reality and they thought that some simple decisions made on a round table could turn around everything for good. Yes maybe we can say now that the team is "Newcastle class" because of their improvement in the last few seasons. Their defense has been one of the problems this season, apart from their midfield which has not been able to show anything promising to maintain a balance between defense and attack.
They can improve that by bringing in players who have good abilities in the transfer market later, because their financial capabilities are also good now, so I think they can afford to be able to buy quality players.

The match between West Ham and Fulham was very exciting, because West Ham had not been able to show their best performance, different from when they faced Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham's performance was very good, even though Tottenham Hotspur had more control of the ball, but in that match. Westham won, yes I thought West Ham would win the match but it turned out they were humiliated by Fulham, and it is true that from the first half to the second half West Ham did not show their best performance. but of the Fulham players I prefer T. adarabioyo because at the back his performance was good, resulting in 1 goal. and Fulham also seemed to defend more in the second half but they were still very good because they were able to score goals. Yes, Chelsea's performance is declining but maybe next time Chelsea can recover.

West Ham in the league have been a shadow of themselves but when it comes to the European competition they’re clear off the top, but this West Ham team is one that’s had one poor run of form while in the league, the humiliation from Fulham wasn’t really what the fans expected but it’s one bad one and the fans will want that scoreline get away from their mind so fast.

 Fulham would go head to head with Newcastle who’s also come from 2 straight defeats and would want to get back their feets and this match will be a tensed and tight one but Newcastle could have a narrow escape from the sting of an improved Fulham. Yes, Chelsea is real declining lately and it’s going to be a long season with this kind of form, maybe Pochettino wasn’t really the best option for this young team or maybe the team needs time to get together well.

It is true that  Luton players played well in this match. However, Manchester United's performance is  not as sharp as before. Their performance has deteriorated. Luton's players have been predicted  to play defensively against City. Manchester City should  have played attacking strategy from the beginning of the match. But  Manchester City's performance in the first half was not good. They made several attacks, but failed to break  down Luton's defence. City then managed to win the match 2-1  thanks to goals from Grelish and Silva in the s econd half. They managed to win after dropping points in four matches. They  will play against Crystal Palace in the next match. The chances of City  winning in this match are  also high.

at first I thought I was worried that Luton would give the audience a surprise by beating Man City in the first half Luton was ahead with 1 score and Man City still had 0 scores, but I still had confidence that Guardiola was a smart coach who managed strategies and it was proven after entering in the second half, Man City performance was a little different, being more aggressive in putting pressure on Luton goal and managed to score 2 scores with just 3 minutes of rest Grealish closed the winning score for Man City.

maybe I am not the only one who thinks that Man City almost lost after seeing the first half, Luton was able to score, but as a fan of this team, I definitely have confidence that they will be able to win because Luton is not a strong team to be able to beat Man City and yesterday win is hopefully just the start of Man City consistent rise to return to the top of the standings.

Even though Manchester City is currently in 4th place in the standings, after seeing the game against Luton, and ending with a score of 2-1 for Manchester City's victory, I see that there is a bright spot for Manchester City to potentially reclaim the championship this season, but of course Luton too very great because he was able to break into Manchester City's goal, but unfortunately Manchester City is an opponent that is difficult to beat, and can still be called a strong team, but unfortunately in the match against Luton E. Haaland did not play because of his leg injury, I think that E. Haaland comes into play, Manchester City will definitely play even better, but of course without E. Spurs today made Newcastle not seem like a team that was together. Don’t just know how Joelinton managed to get that one consolation goal but, it was just Spurs having to run down the Newcastle United defense over and over again. They were under so much threat all game.

After Tottenham failed to win in the last 5 matches in the EPL. And they even lost to West Ham, but it turned out that in the end Tottenham were able to win by beating Newcastle, which should have been much stronger than West Ham. After I heard that Son was fit enough to take part in the match, I was actually convinced that Tottenham would win. It's just that the score 4-1 was beyond everyone's predictions. But Even though I know Newcastle is having difficulties because many of their players are injured. But actually Tottenham's condition is also the same. And it's clear that Newcastle has had quite a decline in performance this time. And maybe even in the UCL match, Newcastle will have difficulty facing Milan.

Tottenham played perhaps one of their best matches this season. They showed great pressing because of this Newcastle had to make mistakes in the first half, which led to a loss of ball control. Tottenham attacked very intensively and the players showed excellent interchangeability. If Tottenham play the same way in the future, they could be in the top 5 of the EPL and qualify for the Champions League.

This is not supposed to be so, every other persons in the team ought to be counted before Onana. This cross was on the head of Maguire before now and the former captain has graciously worked on himself and he has turned the maestro of Manchester United defence. It is high time Erik Ten Hang talk to the team and focus on the midfield and the attack and not on the goalie.

Let's flashback a little to the previous match, Spurs have experienced five matches without a win. four with defeats, and one draw. Uniquely, Sprus was able to provide resistance to Manchester City. After going through a series of five matches without a win, Ange Postecoglou tried to restore his squad's original position. I mean, Ange rotated several of his players, including playing Richarlison back as a center forward. His strategy was successful and went according to his plan, Richarlison played quite well with two goals. Moreover, Son's performance, who provided two assists and one goal from the penalty spot. So based on technical and tactical aspects, Spurs are slightly better than Newcastle.

Well, for the match against West Ham, this match still has quite a long time lag. Ideally, the victory against Newcastle should make Spurs return to the right path. The match against Fores shouldn't be too tough for them. However, in the match against Everton, this team beat Newcastle and Chelsea. Of course, Ange shouldn't underestimate Sean Dyche's squad. plus, Brighton is a pretty strong team when they meet teams that are above their level. So, the point is that last week's winning match must be the key to victory for Spurs when playing other matches. At least, Spurs played with good performance whether they won or lost. well, let's just follow their pace in the following weeks.

Chelsea are really not doing anything to show that their performance is some how improving gradually, they play without any means of making opposition beg to have the ball, but in this case is just a 50/50 for both sides. The backline of Chelsea is very solid with Cucurella Disasi and Colwill on the mix, but I can't seem to understand why James have to always come on to make the defense line weak, he has completely lost form.
The Chelsea boss need to permanently drop the England right back for good because he's only making the team to be under pressure for no reason. Let's see how they'll play on the second half if the visitors would get a goal.

Chelsea are playing well no doubt, more credit should be given to Everton for holding it down till this point, they've tried as home team to show that they have a point to prove even though they are playing a big opponent, though Chelsea hasn't been been too impressive in the their outings, especially that loss against Manchester unitedi wasn't encouraging. Looking at how unpredictable this game can be, Everton might just see the back of the net this second half.

Everton was having a good day hosting the Blues and the home side really showed the visitors that they're of the same level as it stands, Chelsea aren't suppose to be classified as bigger opponent no matter the team they go head to head with. If watched the game against Manchester United you know that the both teams played like amateurs, it was suppose to be fun watching those two teams clash heads together but it wasn't that fun as it used to be.
The Blues who are suppose to get it done against Everton but the reverse was the case, I wonder the excuse Pochettino will give this time around, maybe he would say the team was lacking the captain's presence that's why they lost.
To me I don't see anything positive coming out from Chelsea because if they win a game today they'll lose up to 2-3 games before getting any win, too bad for Chelsea FC.

Well, I will have to still recognize Chelsea as a Big team, regardless of the situation they currently find themselves, I'm still seeing them on that old glory status they've enjoyed over the years.  Though mere looking at the match, I knew Everton where up to something, their counter attack and defence line where solid, Chelsea couldn't penetrate or enjoy passes across them. Pochettino still has a lot to instill into Chelsea players, though the team is made up of young players that still needs to gathered enough experience.

My guesses and predictions finally match the expectations about Tottenham vs Newcastle, finally Tottenham can make a comeback by winning three points in this match with a score that is quite satisfying in my opinion. Ange really made changes to his squad that have been proven in this match, with this result it is clear that the fans' confidence will be restored for the downturn in their pride team in the previous few matches.

The first half until before the second half ended Tottenham really didn't give Newcastle the slightest breath, I thought at first Tottenham would be able to get a full victory without having to concede a goal but it turned out that towards the end of the match Newcastle could make one advantage through a goal from Joelinton which finally the match ended with a score of 4 - 1 for Tottenham's victory. With this good result, Tottenham can finally get a little further away from Manchester United's pursuit in terms of points difference. Next Tottenham will face Nottm Forest and I think this will not be a difficult match for them.
