What I fear for Manchester United is another loss in the league which is very possible because Liverpool at Anfield is a team that is capable of winning Manchester City, not even Man United that is not in a good form.

Ten Hag has failed to bring Man United through to the knockout rounds of the UCL, meaning the Dutch coach managerial career at Old Trafford is now entering a new chapter. I mean, if United fail to make United consistent in the remaining 22 EPL matches, management will not keep him until the end of the season. Because I assume, by being eliminated early in the UCL, Ten Hag can focus completely on the EPL, which means finishing outside the top four is unacceptable for the Red Devils management.

We know that United is currently in 6th place in the standings and below them are Newcastle, Brighton and West Ham. The difference in points between the three clubs is not big, if United lose against Liverpool in Week 17, their position will immediately be overtaken by the three clubs below them. Ten Hag fate is at stake starting next week, I think it will be difficult for Ten Hag to bring United to mark a turning point in performance.

Man City is still looking good despite his absence and I doubt they will drop further since they have "easy" matches for the rest of December. Their rivals like Liverpool will still have to face Man United and Arsenal so I expect Man City to close the gap or even take the lead by the end of the year.

They still performed well, but we can see the difference when they don't have an attacking creator like KDB, so I can't help but say that it affected their performance. From here we can start to see where Manchester City's weak points can then be exploited by their opponents, namely in the midfield. That way, when they can play with a full squad, the opponent will realize which point should be the part they should pay close attention to. Haaland is indeed a very sharp player, but when he is not supported by a good supply of balls coming to him, he also cannot do much as usual. So opponents will begin to strategize so that Manchester City's midfield can be suppressed.

The absence of KDB in the Manchester city squad is felt but not to a very high magnitude. There wouldn't have been much difference if Gundegon didn't leave for Barcelona. The absence of KDB and Gundegon is felt heavily in Manchester City midfield. If not that Rodri stepped up his game, there would have been many obvious lapses.

I am not expecting any special on return of KDB expect that Haaland will begin to score very well as like before.

Last season, a certain time when Kevin De Bruyne was Injured, Manchester City coped to an extent with the availability of Ilkay Gundogan who helped maintained balance. One more player is missing and that's Mahrez who was also sold to Saudi Arabia. These are the players including Jack Grealish making sure they created chances for Erling Haaland and taking three points. It was a brilliant treble winner last season for the citizens.

Kevin would not be back anytime soon, he would be back early next season and how sharp would he be to help push Manchester City back to the first team in the Premier League Competition.?

Although their performance this season is not as good as last season and they lost in several matches but that doesn't mean their chances in the Premier League are gone. Currently, they are only 4 points behind Liverpool, who are in first place and there is still a very long way to go in the Premier League, so Man City still has a lot of time to improve and make a comeback. I think Man City can be better because they are a team that has a winning mentality and they have the capability to do so.

I also think it's not like that. It's just that some changes and injuries have really affected their tactics. It must be really tough for City right now with inconsistent performance but I still don't think that they are not focusing on PL and putting more focus on CL. Yes CL is a trophy they don't have much in their belt but they have been champions of PL for so many years, so I think PL is bare minimum for them. Guardiola also seems to be furious after watching his recent post match conferences so it's certain that there is certainly pressure and they will try hard to change their performance from next game.

You could also argue that the bigger the club and the team, the bigger the medical department and the deeper the squads most of the time. Fatigue isn't an issue all that often in highly professional clubs as they have access to recovery and medical facilities like many other clubs don't. The program the top players are going through to find rest, good nutrition and medical care everyday to bring their bodies back to top level is impressive. They have no other things to do in life but to take care of their body all day long. Fatigue, if they are healthy, should not become a thing for most players.

A competitive coach in a big team like Manchester United should know what to do to succeed in such worst conditions, been eliminated in Champions League in a group where only Bayern Munich is a top team there is shameful, they lose almost eight points in winning possession which is a very poor performance overall in their Champions League campaign this season; and their inconsistency in the Premier League this season is also something the coach should have worked on before it becomes too late because if they keep on with this performance, they will likely not qualify to the Champions League next season.

I think sacking Ten Hag will be the best thing for United right now so as to try another manager and add more players during the January transfer window.

Manchester United is having a very poor performance this season. Manchester United definitely need some players because they fail to attack at the right time. However, Manchester City is much ahead here because the defenders are strong and the striker they have Haaland is very hard to attack and score goals. So if Manchester United is compared with Manchester City then of course Manchester United is far behind. So I agree with you that Manchester United definitely need players.

Yes indeed, it is very funny about assumptions like that, they assume when the team gets bad results then they assume the team is not interested to get trophy, honestly that is a very funny assumption. James is an old player in Chelsea and he knows how to handle the midfield very well for their strikers to have effective performance in the front to achieve a good results at the end of the match. I believe Chelsea manager will do everything possible within his capacity to ensure James recover on time, because the players on bench cannot handle the midfield very well like the way James is handling the Chelsea midfield.

It's still his old injury. It was getting even worse and it's an unpredictable thing to happen with him. His caption has been representing how frustrated he was. Reece hames has become a very good RB for chelsea and it sounds very bad to hear he needs to leave from the club again for a long time.

This is bad news for Chelsea’s coach and the entire team. Reece James is a very great player in the team that Chelsea need in this their trying times but his injury has become a pain in the neck for him for some time now. This player has been playing great but he have now started becoming an injury prone player because of how often he gets injured now. If things doesn’t change for good, Chelsea will one day want to sell him and have a replacement without having injuries that will last a long time or a player susceptible to injury more often.

The long term injury to Reece James is bad news for Chelsea right now. He is expected to return back in February to match, but he will miss a lot of Chelsea games. I've heard rumors that Real Madrid is interested in buying James, but I don't think that will happen again because of his injuries. Reece James is still a key player for Chelsea, so I don't think they will decide to sell him to replace another player. As we all know, Chelsea can acquire any player without having to sell current players.

Some Manchester United fans are saying Harry Kane would have been a better choice than Hojlund but to me I don't see it that way, Man UTD don't have what it takes to feed the England number 9 to get goals for the club.

If Harry Kane were to join Manchester United, he would still have to face the same issues that Hojlund is currently facing. While at Bayern Munich, Kane had incredible players who worked hard to help him score goals, but since Hojlund joined Manchester United, he has only scored goals in the Champions League. When Hojlund first arrived, some people compared him to Erling Haaland, another goal scorer who had arrived in the Premier League, given the way he struggled to score. your observation is correct. Man United didn't have a game that looked like a team. There is no figure at Man United who is the driving force for other players to play well. they only play individually to show off their own skills.
when Man United players can really realize that, and change their playing patterns to be able to play better as a team. maybe they can end the season better. If not, perhaps there is nothing to expect from the Ten Hag squad this season.

Ten Hag has to really figure out what to do with this team. I saw their game yesterday and it was so disgusting. Their fans was really behind them cheering them up, but week in week out this team keeps disgracing their fans. Now that they are out of the champions league, they have to focus on making European football next season. This team looks lost at the moment.

I do not think that Hojlund is the problem, United is having an awful season and it's mainly about the midfield as well, why? Because they are not really having any strategy that would allow them to get better, it's not really all that easy and should be considered something bigger than that.

If they had a proper midfield, and probably better wings, then they would have a chance where they can feed Hojlund or others and score easier, but they are having trouble against good defensive teams since they do not have any player that could fix the issue and they should look for the situation as different and not that easy. If they get some good players there, they could actually provide some good results and get some more goals.

I don't think Manchester City aren't interested in the Premier League trophy; they just don't have the luck this season to perform well and win the league. I'm sure when Manchester City's players return from injury, they will try to win the trophy, but since they have lost many points in the table, it will be very difficult for them to do so. Last season Manchester City played very well and won the Premier League, this season they will struggle to win because they key players De Bruyne is injured and no one in the club that is playing like him,  and is affecting Haaland he can't score many goals like last season in the premier league. Manchester City still has a chance to win the league this season because the league has not gone far and Guardiola is a very good coach and gifted, so anything can happen, but I don't believe Manchester are simply focused in the Champions League this season only.

Anyone didn't believe Manchester United would play poor games this season because they performed very well last season and qualified for the Champions League, but since the start of the season, Manchester United has not played very good games that will impress you. If you go and watch Manchester United, you will most likely come back with an angry face because you will most likely complain the players are just playing weak games, but the main thing Erik Ten should just find some key players next summer. Since they don't want to sack him, they should see whether he can perform well. However they would like a new coach because Erik ten Hag has spent money and bought players but the club has not improved, if they score they will be complaining about Onana, but they don't know is from the defense line.

Manchester City's match tactics were very good last season. The squad had talented players like De Bruyne and Gundogan. We didn't see Haaland score in several important matches last season. However, Manchester City won easily. Because the opposing team's defenders were busy to stop Haaland. And on this occasion, either De Bruyne or Alvarez scored to give Manchester City the win. We saw this in several matches. But this season we are seeing very little of that. Manchester City are getting expected performances from Alavarez this season as well. Yes to me it seems because of players who left or got injured the whole squad got out of balance. They are still strong and among the best teams in the world, but there is a performance gap if you consider both seasons. Guardiola's teams have always been dominated by the midfielders, but having the best midfield in the world is exceptional, having it several years in a row is unbelievable and rebuilding it when players leave or get injured is impossible. I doubt if Manchester city isn't interested in the league title this season but it seems like they are been faced by a natural scenerio where big teams in almost every league at some point do experience a slow down and do drop points but then for very good teams like Manchester city we can be sure they they will soon get back on their feet and definitely pick their form again.

The few losses they have experience recently is not actually telling on their confidence and morale because they have still performed well I'm their previous games regardless of the losses and dropping of point, the season still have got some good number of weeks ahead such that Manchester city will be able to definitely make up for the mess that has occurred in recent times. I know they are bent on maintaining their records as the defending champions of the champions league but it still doesn't mean they don't aim to perform well in the premier league aswell.
