Another big game that City have failed to win in the EPL this season, they have not been doing too well against the big teams this season and that is prolly something that Pep must set right. The first leg against Chelsea ended 4-4, the reverse fixture this evening ended 1-1, two very unexpected results, and i must commend Chelsea, nobody gave them a chance in either fixtures and they proved a point by not losing any of their games against City.

Having said that, i know City fans are very disappointed, but this is not the end of the world for them, they are still close to the summit and have a game in hand, but they just cannot drop too many points from now on.

Yep, next month will be a crucial month for Mancity where they will face to face with Liverpool, Manutd, and Arsenal.
Getting 9 points is a must if they want to become the Premier League winner in this season.
It will be awesome to see the 3 teams still race for the winner until May.

Getting 9 points from these three matches is totally impossible and i think the highest point they will be able to attain is a 3 point from Manchester United luckily. When it comes to playing against Arsenal. Am sure that Arsenal will Manchester City for the second time without stress these time. We all see how difficult it is for them to score today playing against Chelsea. Its becoming harder and tougher for Manchester City to win matches these days. Maybe other team now understand how they play and also know how to mark Haaland ad well. Also, Liverpool will win Manchester City if care is not taking. Liverpool is eager to take the EPL title home. And if they continue with there current performance no team will stop them.

I never predicted such a result before the game. Manchester City lost very important points at home today. Chelsea could have won this game if they had more talented strikers. I liked Rodri's performance for Manchester City, he comes on at critical moments and does important things for his team. Last year Ilkay Gundogan was doing this kind of things. This year he is doing it. He was one of the best players of the day for Manchester City.

I don't think Chelsea problem was about the striker, they lack one but in this match, they didn't act like they lack one because midfielders were the ones that did the main job here, but truth to be told Manchester City were coming for them in every step they take. The only thing I was impressed about was that when Chelsea win their first goal, their defenders tight their position but we're tired in the last minutes again but the try to he honest.

I'm confused on how to describe Chelsea and Manchester City match. The first leg was 4-4, Manchester were hard on them but Chelsea were on ground until the end and now it's unbelievable for Chelsea to draw another important match against Manchester City, now I don't know why Chelsea don't put this kind of performance on other teams. If Manchester City could play at home like this and draw with the blues, then Chelsea don't have an excuse to be sleeping in number 10-11 Place in the table for the whole of the season.

I was unable to watch the first half of the English Premier League game between Manchester City and Chelsea but watched the actions of the second half in full and all I can say is that Chelsea's failure to win that particular game tonight was caused by their approach to the game in the dying minutes.
Manchester City as we all know has been the best attacking team in the English Premier League for the past one year and there's no way you'll be leading them by just one goal and decide to sit back and defend the goal instead of pushing them on attack. Erling Haaland missed so many opportunities in the game which I don't know why he was unable to live up the expectations of the club fans

Thinking about how to improve it is better than regretting it, that's what Pep Guardiola must do in every next match. I saw Haaland frustrated in this match and several times he failed to convert his chances into goals, but I hope he will soon return to his best performance.

The next match is against Brentford, in that match Manchester City must win. There is no reason to lose or lose points, otherwise Liverpool will be more comfortable at the top of the standings. Today Liverpool and Arsenal both won their respective matches, they got better especially when Manchester City dropped points.

The game is becoming more interesting than I imagined and I quite agree with you that City really want to win this game to be in the title race but with the way things are going I'd want Chelsea to keep the pressure coming. City can absorb pressure but I don't feel this is the kind of pressure they're ready to face.

Truly the match is going the way I had predicted on my previous post that Chelsea has a big history with Manchester City because no matter how poor there performance may be but whenever they meet Manchester City there performance immediately improve, so actually I saw this coming but I never knew Chelsea will actually be the first to score Manchester City and even holding them to 1-0 till the end of the first half, funny enough Manchester City has the highest possession on the first half but still Chelsea was able to score the first goal but however I have a strong feeling that Manchester City will likely equalize on the second half because that's how there both matches normally end up, perhaps this match reminds me of there last meeting when everybody was thinking Manchester City could easily win Chelsea because of there bad performance but it became surprising to everyone with the way Chelsea almost outperform Manchester City by holding them to a draw, so that's exactly how this match will likely play.

I also noticed that whenever Chelsea come against the smaller clubs they do struggle but when it has to do with the big boys you see them (Chelsea) playing with everything they have and it will be as if they're that good but after that game you'd see them back to their poor performance.
The game ended in a draw 1-1 and I think Chelsea did very well, played without fear and if Jackson had converted that one on one I think it would have been 1-2 but still on still VAR would have awarded that last minute hand ball in the 18 yard box as a penalty so is better it ended this way (1-1).
Pochettino has every right to take all blame in this game for playing out a draw, as a coach you know you're playing against the best why on earth did you drop your best players on the bench and you start bringing them when the opponent have reduce 50% of the pressure they were facing?
To me I was expecting Pochettino to start his best and even let them play till full time, a player like Mudryk who likes running forward and also back to the defense line to help defend the ball, he has better options but he just killed the attacking force of Chelsea.

Arsenal can slowly return to the competition for the title, now they have the same points as Manchester City and are only 2 points away from Liverpool who have 24 points. With such a distance, of course Arsenal's chances of winning the Premier League are still wide open.

This week they will travel to Burnley headquarters, this should be an easy match for them, because Burnley is one of the teams that have performed poorly this season and now they are in the relegation zone.

Although this is an away game for Arsenal, but still they are much stronger than Burnley.

We know that the Premier League is a very competitive league and we know that there will always be matches like this. No match is won without playing, and today Chelsea showed this to football fans. Before the game I didn't think Chelsea could get a point and I knew City needed this win to win the title. City lost points in this match and suffered a great loss in the race.

Chelsea's goal was scored in the 42nd minute and City could not do what they wanted because they did not react early to this goal. Manchester City should not lose points like this in their home matches.

I'm quite astonished over today's game between Manchester City and Chelsea. How can Manchester City share a point with Chelsea, such a fantastic performance by Chelsea players today Liverpool will have more opportunities to win the Premier League title this time, because I don't believe they will be able to catch Liverpool in the top spot again with the way they are playing they don't have time to play weak games that will result in a draw or a loss. Guadiola was dissatisfied with the draw against Chelsea, and although they are at home Chelsea has the opportunity to score a goal in the encounter. If it wasn't for Rodri, I believe they would have lost the game. Both the first and second legs were drawn. Chelsea plays a weak game with other clubs but when they meet big club they perform well. I'm waiting for the Liverpool game to play the second leg against Manchester City so I can find out who will get the opportunity to win the league championship.

As I said before Liverpool must be happy with this result because they are still on the right track and continue the struggle for the title. Last season the main competitor for Manchester City was Arsenal but this season they were Liverpool, I'm sure Liverpool can still be relied upon to hinder Manchester City.

I bet multibet on this match, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle with the over option and also City. unfortunately, the City versus Chelsea match thwarted my parlay bet. even though basically Manchester City played quite well, overall the team's performance was good except for Erling Haaland who underperformed. in fact, City controlled the game with 71% ball possession, had 31 total shots, 5 on target, 3 big opportunities, from a tactical perspective, City's game was much better than Chelsea. what a shame, in the end this match had to end in a draw. and Manchester City must share one point with Chelsea. with this result, City cannot shift the position occupied by Arsenal.
However, City still has one postponed match which they can use to reduce the difference in points from the teams above their ranking. likewise with the remaining matches, City still has a chance to overtake the teams above their ranking.

On the other hand, Pochettino's squad actually took the lead. unfortunately, Chelsea was unable to maintain its lead. as a result, Chelsea is still in 10th place.

I was just surprised that Manchester City couldn’t win the match. Even after the first half of the match was played and Chelsea was ahead of them, I was still expecting Manchester to win the match in the second half, but the match ended in a draw. Chelsea played well in the match, they should have won the match, but just as you said, Chelsea lack strikers, which has been one of the problems they have been having right from the beginning of the season. If Chelsea had had experienced strikers, they would have scored more than a goal in the match. Jackson wasted some opportunities that he had in today’s match.

They dont need to work harder but smarter. Learning from their previous matches to find a way to wim the reams that they were difficult to do so. Example is Chelsea. Arsenal had drawn with Chelsea in their last meetings 2:2. Although this time around i think they would win Chelsea if they will find a different pattern to approach the game. Losing should not be accepted by Arsenal if they would want to win the EPL title. Worst comes to worst, they secure a draw and bag the 1 point. It is better than losing all three point. I know mikel arteta has started planning on to defeat Newcastle because Newcastle had won them in their last meeting.

But for Chelsea, nothing has really changed - they are in 10th place and remain there. And although they had very slight ups and downs in their results, they spent almost the entire season as a typical team from the middle of the standings.

Liverpool are now sole leaders, Arsenal are 2 points behind, and City can overtake Arsenal by 1 point if they win their game in hand. I'm really looking forward to the end of the round (how these separate games on Monday annoy me) to see what the bookmakers think. Maybe Liverpool and City's odds for the title are already equal?

I watched this match in the second half and Manchester City looked more aggressive after conceding one goal even Manchester City control the matches from all sides except the shot on target controlled by Chelsea. This week we see a lot of shift in the standings at least 4 teams experienced a change in position in the standings, for example Arsenal up to the 2nd place then Manchester City went down to the 3rd place and Aston Villa managed to go up to top 4, but I'm sure this is only for a while because in near Tottenham will take over the standings.

After this draw now Liverpool open new hopes this means that they can still compete for the title and Liverpool must have to wins all the remaining matches, only this way they can secure the title, it's just that Liverpool have to play extra because they have to undergo several important matches such as the final ELF Cup and FA Cup. Besides that, Manchester City is also waiting for them on March 10 as a decisive match who is the best in the Premier League and take place at the top of the standings.

I watched the game today and Chelsea had some very good chances. If they hadn't completely changed their tactics after the 1-0, they might have even won, but after the first goal they played too defensively. In the second half, City almost exclusively dominated. For me, Chelsea wasn't such an underdog and with the game from the 1st half they could have also been a top 3 team.

Chelsea drew Manchester City in the first leg despite their form, that showed quality when playing against Manchester City today, but the pressure from Manchester City was hard to resist which was why they concealed one goal to drew against Chelsea.
This is a job welcome for Arsenal fans from Chelsea because Arsenal is now ahead of Manchester City with two points difference, if Liverpool can also lose, Arsenal will take charge of the Premier League title because I don’t think Arsenal will repeat the same mistake they did last season.

There are still three competitors for Premier League title and Manchester City are one of them. They have yet been excluded from the race and in fact differences among Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are very small.

Manchester City just got a disappointed draw against Chelsea but they have yet lost the title battle. They are still in a race and can have 57 points totally like Liverpool. If they win one match, they will have that total point that is more than Arsenal.

I think it's too soon to exclude Manchester City from the title race and it is unrealistic to say they have less chance than Arsenal or Liverpool.

The EPL title race can still be done by 3 teams (Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City) because if in total all matches then Manchester City still remains in second place by a thin margin. Although Manchester City often lose points they are not out of the title race because they are still in the same area anyways this is still long anything can happen where some teams experience defeat or draw later.
Liverpool are more consistent than others, as well as Arsenal who seem to continue to win until now, their victory is not half-hearted with the big goals they have.
Last night's match can be said Chelsea was surprising because it was able to hold Manchester City to a draw.
