The fact is that Arsenal learnt from their mistake last season against Manchester city. It was almost the same time last season, that they both clashed, and Arsenal was also using maybe one or two points to gap them, and they dealt with Arsenal. They are just putting up a high press on Manchester City players to get the ball back. Haaland didn't get many opportunities in this match, Arsenal's defenders were very disciplined to withstand Man City's attacks, that's why Man City had difficulty creating golden opportunities. The Man City defender made Haaland very frustrated and made Haaland's domination dead.

And what's more, I don't really like Doku who was introduced by Pep Guardiola in the 60th minute... I think this player can only run and always finds it difficult to outwit the opponent or provide a good pass. I never knew City can be this pressured with how the Gunners forced them to make silly mistakes, only if Arsenal had gotten a goal I believe City would have been out of the race by now. To me I'm not impressed with how Arsenal lost those opportunities of scoring at least a goal.
I don't see much work on the defense line of Arsenal in this game because the "best worst flop" (Haaland) didn't do anything to stress the defenders, this guy Haaland isn't sharp this season and I wasn't surprised by how Gabriel and Saliba locked him in this encounter.
Talking about Liverpool, they only have few days to be at the top of the table and I won't be surprised if something dramatic happen in their next game to drop from the top of the table, Sheffield UTD can do something in that encounter against Liverpool but let's wait till then.

Liverpool was thought to be having a light one with Crystal Palace but, records shows that, Crystal Palace haven’t been making any game easy for Liverpool, in fact, they’ve had to beat them a few times with some number of goals too. Little wonder why they got the early goal advantage but, they just couldn’t keep it. I don’t see how Klopp was going to allow that.
After managing to score the equalizer with Luis Diaz, Salah later on secured the winner for Liverpool in the second half.
While Arsenal and Manchester City couldn’t find a winner, Klopp is more than happy to have them share points and try to build from behind while, he puts his focus on being consistent.

I knew that Manchester city was never going to allow Arsenal get a win against them especially an easy win in their home, the ethihad is Manchester city strong hood and they have been able to maintain a good results in their home since this season and a would not want to loose against the gunners a second time so I expected they were most likely going to draw but I didn't hope it was going to be a goalless draw .

The Gunners in their capacity actually did very well too and they made their defense a fortified one such that they weren't jus penetrable by the hosting team just like that, I knew Arsenal was definitely not going to aswell give Manchester city an easy games too but then I must commend Manchester city the most in that they weren't playing with some key players and yet they were able to keep a clean sheet not allowing a defeat especially in their home in the presence of their own fans, it was a very good performance from them too, but they are now at the third position on the table.

Liverpool is back to the top of the table and I see it as some that is really worth it because they actually did performed so well in their today's encounter a d did deserved the win they got in today's game and I knew Liverpool was not going to mess up this opportunity of getting back to the top of the table but then they are just going to stay at the top by just two points difference away from Arsenal who's at the second.
