I wouldn't compare like that exactly, I think the result of this goal difference in goals scored and conceded is due to poor tactics and match formation. They don't just need to change the coach who tried to build something all season and failed - they also need to buy players, review and rebuild the squad. I think only a new coach can do that without bias

Well in Sir Alex Ferguson era, Manchester United name was shining and things in the team weren't great after him. Ten Hag saved Manchester United in the beginning from a disastrous season and he was able to win a trophy at least this season. I wouldn't say that he was the saviour or the best choice but at least he tried but Manchester United needs more qualified players and to rely less on players that no longer can add something to the team.
I agree that a new coach and new strategies are a must to improve the team especially with a comprehensive staff that could give some money to recruit new players so a better outcome would be expected.

To be honest I don't know where it's salvageable, but since they won a trophy this season, so be it, well done Ten Hag for achieving at least that despite such poor results within the league. So far there is no news about the new coach, not even any serious rumours about a change of coach, it's sad at the moment. Well, there were rumours, but they stopped for some reason.)

It's actually very bad to see Manchester United that was once the most feared European club struggling while the current club manager thinks winning an FA Cup final is a great big feat for the club. I'm very surprised to see that Manchester United's management aren't currently in the hunting for a new replacement for Erik ten Hag because from what I've seen so far from the manager, the club will never rise above their current standard of football under the Dutchman.
Manchester United's management must as a matter of urgency go in search of a new world class manager that'll help the club become competitive again unless they just want to settle for struggling to finish in the top seven at the end of every season.

He's very proud of winning the FA Cup. I realise in another league he was in demand and very good, but now he's in one of the toughest leagues there is and obviously he'd have to work very hard, but he's just not suited to this league apparently

His only success was the cup final against Manchester City. They won the cup final and won a trophy, but they had a terrible year. They played poorly in European tournaments and Ten Hag brought nothing but chaos to Manchester United. Considering these, it would be a very correct decision to send Ten Hag from the team.

I thought TenHag would be sacked by Manchester United management sooner. United management is too late to take this right decision. We don't see Manchester United improving with Ten Hag. Ten Hag spent a lot of money. He has taken youngsters like Antony and Hojlund in the squad, wasting a lot of money without adding experienced players to the squad. But these young players have completely failed to strengthen Manchester United's performance. So sacking Ten Hag was the right decision for United management.

Zidane is a former great coach of Real Madrid. The only drawback of this coach is that he has never coached a club other than Spain and his managerial career was only at Real Madrid, but he gave very satisfying results, this is because Real Madrid already has quality players and has good abilities so it is natural If Real Madrid's performance is well honed in Zidane's hands. It is different from the situation in the Premier League where every appearance is sometimes unpredictable and if he is at Manchester United with a squad that is in disarray, I think he will also find it difficult to coach Manchester United in the competition for the title league.

@Sakanwa I agree with you. I don't believe that Zidane can't be a good coach in the Premier League. Zidane is an excellent coach and Zidane has already proved it. I have no doubts about Zidane's ability. I don't think Zidane is unfit to be a Premier League coach just because he hasn't played in the Premier League. There are many coaches who were not star players but were great coaches. A player's career and a coaching career are completely different.

However, I would say Zidane is a coach capable of changing the overall situation of the team. Able to build confidence in players. And we saw that Zidane had a very good relationship with the Madrid players. So I think Zidane is fit to coach any Premier League team.

Erik Ten Hag future with Manchester United will be decided in the near future. Its only your assumption, we don't know behind reason why Zidane reject offer become Manchester United manager last several years ago although he not becoming any other teams manager after leaving Real Madrid last several season until right now.
Actually many top teams interested for signing Zidane but he reject all offer and he has English language problem as main reason not accepted Manchester United offering.

I think Zidane become one manager for Premier League team will make interested behind Pep Guardiola difficult stopping him always dominance by winning domestic league.

Y'all talk as if Manchester United was in a good shape when Erik Ten Hag took over the club. He was dealing with whatever Ralf Ragnick couldn't deal with and has won trophies Ole Gunner Solskjaer couldn't win. They won Liverpool as well this season and Liverpool couldn't get a win against them this season.

Setbacks are part of the journey and the job and they even make the job even more interesting.. Sacking Erik Ten Hag is some difficult thing to do now, when you finally get him sacked, who do you bring in to replace him?

You don't see it, that your own view and personal decision, don't try to include others. T's also good to see that they have finally decided to sell Jadon Sancho because he disrespected the coach and has refused to make apologies. I can understand your thoughts about Mason Greenwood but selling him might not be the best idea. He is talented player who could help team especially as backup for Rasmus Hojlund. He is a good goal scorer and has a strong left leg. On the other hand Jadon Sancho is not working hard and is causing problems. If he won't apologize and try harder it is better for team to let him go. He's lazy and focuses too much on partying, which isn't what Manchester United needs. Team should choose players who care and work hard like Greenwood over ones who don't try their best like Sancho.

I agree with you because Mason Greenwood has good capacity when playing and maybe Manchester United needs to give him another chance.

It's not even about learning the language, he can just hire a translator, he's just a coach, not a player, so there will be no barrier at all.

He just avoid any inconsistent team like Manchester United, if he get an offer from Manchester City, I'm sure he will not reject it since we all know Manchester City will win Premier League since they have many high quality players, they can win without the coach.

I have an opinion about the reasons why Zidane is reluctant to become a coach in the Premier League. Zidane started his career as a coach at Real Madrid, and he has never coached for a club other than Real Madrid. He found a smooth path at Real Madrid as a coach, so that he could get so many proud achievements there. So I guess Zidane must have concerns that he might not be able to achieve the same (good) results if he coaches another club, especially in a team or competition that he doesn't feel comfortable with. If he really does, then he can only do it on the team, which is truly his dream.

By looking at the performance of Manchester United which has slumped this season, it is very clear that Manchester United management must take firm action by replacing Erik Ten Hag in the coaching chair. The hard training applied by Ten Hag and his ego made many players injured and disputes between players and coaches.
Ten Hag is not suitable to coach a club that competes in the English league which is so difficult because of a lot of competition. The good squad that MU has this season must also be matched by a good coach, in the selection of players Ten Hag is good for MU and makes MU's squad inhabited by talented young players but these players cannot bring out their performance in every match.

Winning the FA Cup trophy is the only achievement of Manchester United this season, this season was very bad for  Manchester United but when they played against big teams, they took their games seriously. Manchester United defeated Manchester City in the FA Cup final, and most of the gamblers lost their money because they thought Manchester City was the favorite to win the game. @Sakanwa I agree with you. I don't believe that Zidane can't be a good coach in the Premier League. Zidane is an excellent coach and Zidane has already proved it. I have no doubts about Zidane's ability. I don't think Zidane is unfit to be a Premier League coach just because he hasn't played in the Premier League. There are many coaches who were not star players but were great coaches. A player's career and a coaching career are completely different.

I think that the management of Manchester United understands very well that ten Hag’s achievements are not so impressive.
