They know the particular department they're really poor at but they neglect it and act like everything is fine. With Conor Gallagher on his way to join the Spanish side Atletico Madrid (that's if he hasn't join yet) I think they are now losing more of the experience players who are suppose to guide the younger ones to do better. Obviously, Chelsea can't finish in the top 4 in the upcoming season. It's too good to be true. I think Chelsea will fight against relegation, not for a top 4 spot. The pre-game result is enough to judge Chelsea's EPL performance soon.

A team is rated well based on their past performance or the present form either in the pre season games or based on the new signings in the team so looking at the Chelsea team, it is very easy to see that they are yet to have a solid team because right now they have no good striker in the team. They had a poor performance last season and coming to the pre season games their performance has been very poor which shows that they have not recovered from the poor performance of last season. I believe the Chelsea team is not hoping to get a trophy next season cause they should be able to win matches if they want to be among the first 10 teams in the league.

Overall it's quite strange that in these two games only one goal was scored, but still these are friendly games so any result should have been expected (complete randomness). I still hold the opinion that in friendly games it is better not to bet or bet on the underdog (in this case it would be BTTS No).

Yeah it's really weird when betting using a little prediction ends in defeat, but if you bet without prediction and just bet randomly but you can get victory.

Very bad my bet results lost all and should have chosen BTTS No as you said. Previously I thought all of these teams would score because some of these teams are very popular and should have been able to score some.

Concerning the league contenders, everyone have their opinion of which teams would triumph and it's fair enough to respect people's decision, but then their are many factors i feel could hinder Chelsea from winning the league, they just signed a new manager and it could take players time to understand his tactics, there could be issues in the dressing room with the way the board is handling certain decisions, they lack enough quality squad depth compared to other top teams, they need a very good quality striker the likes of Victor Osimhen or Harry Kane that could score 20 goals or more in a season, Chelsea should rather focus on performing well in the Conference League and finishing in top 4 position cause winning the EPL next season is not something they could achieve without a miracle. I love that you placed Manchester City and Arsenal above other teams, they've been the most outstanding in the past two seasons but then one team to really watch out for this season is Manchester United, INEOS is really transforming the sporting areas of the club and it could give them a boost next season.

So far I like how Liverpool plays without Klopp, maybe this is still Klopp's work and for now Slot don't have a greater impact on the team, but so far I do not even rule out that Liverpool will be able to start this season well. If they can beat Arsenal, no matter that it is a friendly match, then this is a good indicator. And maybe Slot will become the discovery of this season and will be able to compete with Liverpool against City and Arsenal. At least Slot did not make any cardinal changes in the team, so we can see the same team.

Jürgen Klopp impact is surely going to work for Liverpool in this season because many players having long term work experience with him and things were not bad at all but now Arne Slot is going to have changes which could be make good for Liverpool they are having tougher season ahead of them in Premier League and Champions League and how they will manage this in first season this is also interesting.

We have their preseason games on track with first win against Real Betis and then Arsenal now tomorrow they are going to face Manchester United at the South Carolina this is also going to be interesting because Manchester United is having serious injuries issues last game of Liverpool will be at the Anfield against Sevilla they need to be on course for having better results.

You shouldn't use Chelsea to compare Chelsea because there is a big difference in both clubs when it comes to performance and their coach. I would not blame anyone who is doubting Chelsea's performance next season because there is no prove yet that they are better than last season especially now that a new coach is in charge.

Sadly, they've now lost two players to injuries before the start of next season again and that I think will be a huge blow to the club preparations for next season. The real challenge will occur in the new season later, so even though at this moment Liverpool still looks fine, of course there are still many possibilities that will happen next season. Although indeed, I also really hope that Liverpool remains strong to be in the title race with Manchester City and Arsenal, because with not many changes in the Liverpool squad, at least this will be good for Liverpool even with a new coach. Pre-season matches should not be taken as a conclusion that the team is better, it is a match to test the mentality of young players and the senior players will not play with their intention to win this is just a friendly match.

Chelsea finished in the top 4 it would have been a significant change if it was true Maresca brought it there, but we must know that in the Premier League many elite teams are difficult to beat even I still believe Chelsea is still unable to beat it, but with the new coach Maresca it will bring a new atmosphere we still don't know how great his tactics are, if he fails then Chelsea will still struggle like last season.

What do you mean Bayern Munich don't have a good coach? Thomas Tuchel is not a bad coach, he just has some things going sideways with his decisons and tactics. This is a manager that has taken Paris Saint Germany to the Champions League finals against Bayern Munich and also won the Champions League Competition with Chelsea. I will not tag him a bad manager because he didn't end things well with Bayern Munich.

Noussair Mazraoui is no dutch player, he is full born African ( Moroccan ). de Ligt? I can say yes. They both worked with Erik Ten Hag back in the day with Ajax. Besides him wanting them, the new Manchester United sporting directors have highlighted them as potentials for the club. The delays with getting these players is just too tiring. Manchester United has to sell players to bring them in.

In addition, Manual Ugarte and Sofyan Amrabat are both likely to join shortly after these two. For now, Manchester United need these two mentioned above.

Interesting, so far I have not followed every development of Chelsea. but if I refer to their player list, most of them are young players. to be honest, I do not really know the style and system set by Enzo Maresca, so I can not speculate anything on Chelsea. at least, while waiting for their hunt in the summer transfer window. if I may be honest, I am not sure about the front line that Chelsea has. the question that interests me, which player will be the main choice by Maresca for his center forward. moreover, Chelsea has not brought in a stable striker who is a mainstay in terms of scoring goals. if it is Nicolas Jackson, I highly doubt it. but, he could be better under the guidance of their new coach. as for Osimhen, there has been no recent development between Chelsea and Napoli. for now, it seems like it will be quite a difficult challenge for Enzo Maresca to bring Chelsea much better. I mean, to finish in the top four of the Premier League. it does not mean they do not have a chance for that, but there are several points that are my reasons. however, this is just a temporary guess. after all, the competition has not started. No one knows how Chelsea's performance will be when the season starts because they have a new coach. Their performance was poor last season under Pochettino management, but they improved a little bit towards the end of the season. As we can see, Chelsea has a new coach, so let’s see how the new coach will perform when the season starts. I am not really impressed with Chelsea's performance in their pre-season matches. I know we can’t use pre-season matches to judge how a team’s performance will be when the season starts, but I will say Chelsea are using their main players in the pre-season matches because their coach is trying to get a perfect squad for the team because he is new. I believe Jürgen Klopp had put a formidable squad before the left Liverpool judging with lack of transfer decision by Liverpool in the present transfer window show how strong the squad is thus that would make the job of Slot less difficult, recall towards the end of last season when some first team players of Liverpool had injury Jürgen Klopp deployed and drafted academy players into the first team Lo and behold those youngsters played well and performed brilliantly against strong teams like Chelsea,  I believe that is why Liverpool had been quite in the transfer market therefore Slot should just continue to work from where Klopp stopped on the team towards upcoming season.

Moving at some point in time is part of the dynamic of a players career and its even becomes necessary at some point because for the player to strive and be able to maintain that progression in their career to not staying where they started, it becomes necessary to move to places they believe is better then where they r coming from so they can have a chance at advancing their career but with this Bayern Munich players, it really feels different for me because they were both doing so well at Bayern Munich and if the poor performance of Bayern last season is their reason for exit then I don't think they made a better choice thereafter because Manchester United isn't doing any better except they will in the new season.

Change of management is having serious trouble for the Chelsea because after this change we have no good things happening around Chelsea they are having fall down with many coaches are already gone and chances of improvement is still not good because we need some time for coach to have changes and bringing improvement which happened in last season, but suddenly another change of coach bring another dilemma for them.

Now as we are having few good changes and mostly are expecting Enzo could be gone through for good results realistically it is looking not easy for him because we have to expect few things having good and solid performance is not going to happen quickly usually its take time and for this management needs some patience and good favour to coach currently we are having few clubs which are going down and having serious trouble due to management, but can things take change its never been easy.

Even this season, fans hope that Chelsea can compete with other strong teams such as Liverpool and Arsenal. Considering how Matthijs de Ligt rose to the ranks of a regular starter and even a captain of Ajax at 19 years, I think he's currently telling himself that he can do better than he's currently doing at Bayern Munich if he gets into a team that guarantees him regular football. I can't say much about Noussair Mazraoui because I know very little about him but if it's for de Ligt, I think the Dutch player's limited game time at Bayern Munich last season is the reason why the he's trying to force his way out if the German club. Bayern Munich have other center-back players who are ahead of him in the ranking order so remaining at the club when he can go to another club where he'll get more playing time I don't think will be a good idea so if de Ligt can maneuver his ways and go to Manchester United, I think he'll get the playing time to prove himself and the quality he posseses.

Last season at the very end they actually picked themselves up and started to move forward. They sat halfway through the season in mid-table and at the end of the season they climbed to 6th place. I'm sure if they had more time they could have fought for 5th or even 4th place. So I'm not writing them off for the new season

That performance by Chelsea team towards the end of the season came  as a surprise and all thanks to their coach then. That performance he showed by end of the season doesn’t warrant him to be sacked but in the end, they sacked him. He might not have performed as they agreed on, but at least he was able to finish in a better position than the previous coach. With that performance, replicating it for next season is not too certain because the new coach might want to change the strategy and use his own that might not suit them well to win matches with it.

I honestly feel pain for Chelsea, this is going to be their 3rd season without qualifying for the Champions League, this means that they failed to finish at the top in the Premier League for the 3rd time in a row and if they don't do it the season, 4 season will just pass without finishing at the top. It's gonna be a history for me because I haven't experienced such before for Chelsea.
