England squad: Cole Palmer returns to Chelsea as Phil Foden and Ollie Watkins also withdraw

Cole Palmer, Ollie Watkins and Phil Foden have withdrawn from the England squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures.

The Three Lions face the Republic of Ireland and Finland as they begin life without Gareth Southgate in the dugout, as Lee Carsley takes charge, at least for now, on an interim basis.

Pep Guardiola suggested that Foden would not be involved in those games due to a virus and that has now been confirmed, with the Manchester City star not travelling to St. George’s Park, while Watkins and Palmer have returned to their clubs after initially joined up with the England squad.

A statement said: “The Three Lions squad reported to St. George’s Park on Tuesday but, following assessment, both Palmer and Watkins returned to their clubs to continue rehabilitation for ongoing issues.

Losing a player like rice which was unexpected will definitely make them to lose focus because he is an important player that always brings win to the club, Brighton immediately took the advantage of the red card to pressure Arsenal, but still I don't blame arsenal for defending themselves because draw is far better than losing at Emirates Stadium, at least they shared point, playing 10 against 11 was never easy unless they played against less performing team and Brighton is not a team that will be taken for joke. If Manchester United get school in their next match against Southampton, then I will be force my head to believe that Ten Hag will be hang very soon and they will be eager to get a replacement very fast most especially from the minor group that has been looking for his replacement for long time. I know there are people in the system that doesn't want him but probably there are people ontop that want him to stay with reason best known to them but I'm also tired of Manchester United failure.

I had no option than to laugh out after reading your post. In fact, whatever you have to say Manchester United deserves it. Although in football everything is possible. But I do not see the possibility of Southampton dominating Manchester United in their next meeting. Manchester United team is not that bad, if not for the kind of obvious mistakes made by casemiro, Liverpool wouldn't have beaten Manchester united shamefully. I have watched Southampton this season and they have nothing to offer than to go back to relegation. So if by mistake a relegation club beats Manchester United, just know that it is over for the club and it will be the end of Erik Ten Hang. I think this is an opportunity for Manchester United to end their poor performance because their next match will be against a low-ranked team which in general Manchester United's strength is stronger than their opponent. Manchester United is able to win all the fixtures in the image above. There's no tough opponent to Manchester United except Tottenham. And this season also, Tottenham has not proven to be formidable. If we analyze how Arsenal and Brighton game went then we can't really blame Arsenal because Brighton was all over Arsenal in that game and if not that Arsenal became careful after Declan Rice was sent off they would have lost that match to Brighton. Leicester City news as the club successfully win off-field battle with Premier League over financial fair play rules

The Premier League first referred City to an independent commission in 2023 for breaches relating to the financial year 2022/23. Leicester's initial challenge was dismissed by the Commission but it has successfully been upheld by an independent Appeal Board - made of up a panel of three experienced, senior lawyers, two of whom are former Court of Appeal judges - to reverse the punishment.

Following the decision, the Premier League have expressed this dissatisfaction at the overturn. A statement read: "The Premier League is surprised and disappointed by the independent Appeal Board’s decision to uphold an appeal lodged by Leicester City FC regarding the League’s jurisdiction over the club’s alleged breach of its Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSRs) when the club was a member of the Premier League.

"In March this year, the Premier League referred Leicester City to an independent Commission for an alleged breach of PSRs relating to the assessment period ending financial year 2022/23. Once submitted, the club’s financial results demonstrated that it had exceeded the permitted £105million threshold for the relevant period.

Arsenal have a very weak perspective when it comes to winning the league and if they had to play against City they feel that by beating Manchester City it will guarantee them the free passage to win the league. Like you said about Klopp, to me is not about winning City but about taking care of your problems then wait for Man City to make their mistakes, that's the thing but Arsenal feels they need to beat Pep's men to win the league and they always forget that the other teams are waiting to strike especially the relegation teams, they too want to stay in the EPL and they need a point at least to survive.

We can all agree Manchester United are bigger team compared to Liverpool and Brighton then, if I can still remember Manchester United are top leading team then. Seeing Liverpool and Brighton defeat Manchester United now shows how they’ve gone low so I will not be in shock if they draw against Southampton because anything can

The only thing I am made to believe about the would Chelsea and Osimhen deal drawbacks is that Chelsea really didn't want to sign Osimhen in the first place because if they know the value of what they were going for then they would have at least not had too much problem with the wages provided he would give the result the club is in need of to stay at the top of the competition in the EPL this season.

You are justifying the fact that Manchester United lost two matches with an excuse that they played a difficult team. Let's see how it goes playing Southampton and Tottenham soon. I won't be surprised if Southampton is going to win against Manchester United in that game because they have good strikers who will score against Manchester United.
