The way some manager talk in the press conference is a bit disappointing, as a manager to make a name for yourself you need to change the mentality of the club you're handling and always stay positive, winning trophies is also the number 1 task you need to accomplish but Manchester United coach says things the way he feels without mind if his reputation is at stake. How can he say the team doesn't have what it takes to win trophies? Like he doesn't even have confidence in the squad he is managing even if they are not good enough to deliver but you are there as the coach to help them from that suffering stage, to me it speaks low of him that he isn't capable of managing any club.
I agree with what Cristiano Ronaldo said, it is too poor for the manager to have that weakness and even letting the public know they can't compete for any title, which means the game against Southampton is going to be a game they're going to lose. I now see why some Manchester United players perform very well when playing for their country but awfully while playing for UTD. ETH has lost it and to me he doesn't deserve the chance to continue with the club.

We all know both of this guys are definitely throwing shades at each other as both still are not in good times, Ronaldo statement might seems true even though it wasn’t coming from an honest angle but to throw Erick Ten Hag under the bus. Mind you this statement wasn’t even made during the time of where Ronaldo was still in the club because I could remember that period that Ten Hag said that Eras comes to an end when he was asked maybe he could break the dominance of Pep guardiola and Klopp then.

This statement of Manchester United not yet a title contender yet was the beginning of this season when the journalists ask Ten Hag maybe if he had all his players fit he can compete for the title and he simply say the team isn’t upto that standard and they will even be lucky to get a top four finish and to be sincere I think this was a statement just to motivate the players and also to tell the board that they need reinforcements. In my opinion, there is no amount of pressure that will be on Manchester United coach and he will lose the match against Southampton. To me, losing the match against Southampton could be signing his sack letter. I trust that he understands this very well and he will work his way out to beat Southampton. Manchester United fans and management are even worried with the current position of Manchester United after playing some few matches. If any team wants to make the top four, it starts now and not in the 11th hour.

Honestly, Manchester United performance for the last two seasons has been very poor. Could you imagine that Manchester United wouldn't have been in the Europa League this season let alone to Champions League if not for the FA Cup they won. Judging by their performance this season, they might also not be in the Champions League next season.

If he loses the game against Southampton it may be the final straw the breaks the carmel's back. The club has been really patient with him, even after finishing 8th position last season, which is United's worst ever finish in the top flight. They've been very supportive of him and have also brought in new addition to booster the squad. He has a talented team that can compete for major trophies and at the highest level. He has no excuse this time around than to do better.

The Emotional management of ETH is very poor, he bows to pressure easily and unnecessarily and speaks things that demoralizes even the team he is managing. Naturally when people are motivated, they perform even beyond their capacities. Players need to know that the manager believes in them and their talent to be able to give in their best for the team. This is particularly why I so much love Ancelotti of Real Madrid, the guy is much of a friend, rather than a coach to his players and with such very good relationship, he is winning trophies and getting the best out of the team.

Right from the beginning when I started watching this man ETH at Manchester United I saw him as a man that can't deal with pressure, he becomes desperate to do something out of desperation instead of staying calm and relating with his assistant on what to do next, is not easy but you have to keep yourself in check. Manchester United is bigger than Ajax where you have players who doesn't earn more than the guys at Man UTD and he shouldn't carry the same way he managed the Ajax team to UTD, it won't work, the Red Devils players are bigger than the Ajax players.
Even Ancelotti can never come out to say all he said, the relationship a good manager create between him and his players will determine if the team can go forward or not, at UTD the connection is too bad that even the best is now among the flops of the club. I never thought of seeing Rashford playing like someone who doesn't have love for football, ETH presence is helping the club to sink and if nothing is done at this point I feel Man UTD might finish below 10th on the log.

Chelsea and Manchester United are two teams that was known for greatness and history, they are among the top Premier League teams almost every season but these days, they are not performing to the core, the legends the team has brought up are ashamed of the team’s performance because the team is not as serious as it used to be in the past. Manchester united you can blame as the team hasn't changed ownership but you can't blame Chelsea as the management that the team had that used to deliver for them before, they don't have them anymore. Manchester United cannot say that they are better than Chelsea regardless of whether they have won more trophies in the last 5 years or not. That is not good enough evidence to suggest that they are performing better than Chelsea. Chelsea can play well but have trouble scoring goals - which is why they needed Osimhen. If they had a striker that could score, they would not be considered a mid-table club. Manchester United play poorly from the back to the front. Even Ten Hag doesn’t know how to solve the problem of this team.

Occasionally there are mistakes that are purely made by a player, but when a team loses, it does not mean it is entirely the coach's fault because the coach will certainly try his best for his team and the players must also be able to contribute well in order to win the match.

You are right. Since Ten Hag has been with this squad for a long time, he will surely know well where his squad's weaknesses lie. And how can he strengthen the squad if he can't identify the squad's weaknesses? I don't want to blame Manchester United management for this season. Because they provided big funds to Ten hag for player purchase. But Ten Hag failed to find suitable players for his squad.

I don't think Ten Hag has a friendly relationship with his squad players. This is why United's players are not confident. Ten Hag must first develop a stable match strategy.
