Confessions is a great read. If you google it...as it is out of print It is common domain and not copyrighted anymore ( I believe). There are many downloadable PDFs of it. For anyone who wants to trade another I definitely recommend is Trading for a Living by Dr. Alexander Elder. He has a lot of the book devoted to psychology of trading. Knowing yourself is the start of most things in this life. When trading if you don't , you wash out, simple as that. .............. As to why Gekko would trade in and out of UNO. trading as is hunting is all about knowing your quarry. trading the same instrument again and again you get to know the idiosyncrasies of it.
Buffet once said If you know your investments ..why would you diversify? (or words to that effect). Deworsify is a common theme in the wall streets of this world as they try to match the "market" to not do this means losing commissions. A bad year relative to others in the space can kill a ticket clipping business.
As some of the previous posters, my UNOverse of invest-able cryptos is quite small. BTC, UNO and NXT (for the possibilities of asset register there). Possibly NEM and ETHER depending on what they will offer in the near future. ............................ Again, I believe in the blockchain. Business will wake one day, then this real ride begins. Have a good day all. Tacktic.

I still think of myself as building my "UNO support base". I've done this with MZC. I have two MZC accounts. My support base and then, the one I actively trade - ride up, sell, wait for the drop, buy back in, grow the support base - rinse and repeat. Again, UNO - I'm still building my support base. Like everyone, I have numbers in mind. Ultimately, I guess these two accounts are two strategies; long term and short term. MZC has been bouncing between 60 and 90 satoshis - so, you see this is nothing earth shattering. I'm like grandma at the penny slots in Winnemucca. We're talkin' One Million Mazacoin. http://www.broadwayvillagerealestate.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/1million.jpgBTW, just saw this today; The Bitcoin Clock. http://bitcoinclock.com/Z

@Gekko463
can I ask what it is that has made you want to keep buying back into UNO after each time you take profits?
It is exactly as Zelig and Tacktic said. Has always just been my intention to increase my holding, using just my original stake. However, with recent BTC prices and upcoming events like the halving, I am arranging to buy some more BTC. About 10. A friend in Australia is arranging it for me, as I have bank accounts there. Reminiscences of a Stock Operator is out of copyright, but not out of print. Available free as a PDF many places, as low as 83 cents on kindle, on up: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_6?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=reminiscences+of+a+stock+operator&sprefix=Remini%2Cstripbooks%2C457It was a mandatory read when I was a stockbroker trainee in the early 90's. The rest of the books were mostly about sales. Other trading titles recommended back then were mostly about Elliot Wave theory, and a guy named Martin Zweig. There are lots of good trading books. Jack Schweiger's "Market Wizards" was very useful at the time too, I recall. Interviews with the best traders of the time.

I am gonna tackle all the texts on trading! And finally snuck a mention of us onto Cryptomoms.com, which is sorta a Dnotes site: 'Uno’s architect, ‘Blazr,’ analysed Bitcoin, and then crafted a crypto specifically oriented to resolving some of Bitcoin’s problems. We publicise it as a ‘crypto-commodity.’ It’s a ‘long-term’ instrument (which has resulted in its having a community of extraordinary depth). It’s rare, and sorta ‘stream-lined,’ and beautifully ‘balanced’ in things like its mining-schedule.' http://cryptomoms.com/forum/cryptomoms-com/5/crypto-kindergarten/537/45m

Has always just been my intention to increase my holding, using just my original stake. i can't imagine you bought back into every stock you made money off what is it that keeps you here in UNOverse instead of moving on to new coins or other totally unrelated-to-crypto investments?

Dedicated Android Wallet for UNO - Request funds for developmentSee the original request here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500.msg10831261#msg10831261We now have 160 of our 125 UNO (at today's price) goal! udroidNXd1YNoL1DgNu8NktemcnexiBByMYou have all pushed this over the top! As they say, many hands make light work. I am glad to see this community going the extra mile to show our new Android app dev. what their work means. Good luck to HashEngineering on this endeavor, you have a strong reward waiting for you. I will proceed to payout as stated in the first post on this topic, namely 1/2 at app launch, then 1/2 a month after, or after any showstopper bugs are squashed (whichever comes first). By all means if you wish to continue, or didn't get a chance to donate please do. Keep in mind that devs. with skin in the game tend to stick around. Thanks everyone for your generosity! A quick update from HashEngineering: More progress has been made on the Android Wallet. The first step is to convert the Java Library namecoinj to Unobtanium. That is the stage I am in now. It is about 30% done. The next stage is to fork the Namecoin Wallet app and that is 0% done. The hardest part of the work is on the Java Library, which is the first part.
Originally the ETA was ~4 weeks and we are now beyond that, however it appears some progress has been made. Unless there are any objections I will continue to hold the bounty to be payed as discussed above. Any objections from those who have contributed to the bounty? Regards,

3.5 Btc buys the entire Uno book at Bittex. Trading is below minimums past couple of days. Yeah that market is really quiet the past few days. Another one of those mexican stand-offs between buyers and sellers it seems. It tends to have more busy days a couple times a week, which drives overall volume well beyond the point of getting UNO on the "endangered markets list".

Welcome, 2weiX!! I have already PM-ed the OP to have you included on our List of Merchants, and it would be a fine fine thing to have you as a regular here.
AND . . . do come over and register at our 'core-community's in-house exchange': Cryptoguild.com
And . . . it's good to see a European faction emerging. Got the U.S. Got Australasia. The German Uno folk have been wunderbar forever. Several Scandinavians have turned up. And it's these 'national chapters' that will be the bases for Uno-Bullion trades, and for other merchandising.
