Remember, we have another forum at Cryptocointalk, where we can reach out to spread the love of the UNO community.  Please try to post there at least monthly, maybe even cross posting. We have a great, active community with a lot to share.

"Go ye forth into the world and make believers of all crypto enthusiasts."

I can't remember who said it, but it was good advice..

https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/2423-unobtanium-uno/

There's also a very active chat group about UNO on Telegram (download Telegram app to iOS or Android device). https://t.me/joinchat/AAAAAEIAq9IOEd4Z5BlyYA

Talk with dudes like this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvyGin43C6I

He has an invest across the boards approach.

UNO is a base, so in fact a board.

I think UNO community could get a number of youtubers to consider it as a base pair.  But more important easy to take home.  On top of rarity, fairness, and network hash power.

I think the biggest message is combining the across the board investing concept, and taking it home, secure in your own hand your reserves.

I think BTC, LTC, Doge, and ETH offer this value proposition too.   But UNO is the only other that I see at this level.

All the other coin require you to store the coins on Polo or Bitfinex.  That is risk.  Very few people hold these coins in hand.  But UNO is easy to hold your own coins.  So pulling from the exchange is very quick and easy.

I don't understand ZEC, DCR, XRP, FCT wallets at all.  Very confusing.  And the other top 50 that I look at only have wallets that make me download the entire chain.  Sorry I don't like to maintain a block chain.  I like to invest.  I use electrum for BTC, LTC, Doge, and UNO!  Because it is easy.

I am still afraid of ETH because it looks like I have to trust a web wallet still.  Is that not the same as having coins on an exchange?

It will be more difficult to increase the volume if there is no awareness of the developers how to attract all investors.

UNO is 9,000 THS right now (9 peta hash).

Do you remember the big debate about whether we should merge mine or not?
I'm still confident that was the right decision, controversial as it was.

Would anyone really prefer UNO to be at 14.9 THS, like Zeta?

I have a question, can you import private keys from electrum wallet to qt? i see that in both (electrum/qt), the private keys start with an "A", but on the paper wallet generator from the website, the private keys start with an "8".By the way, i'm getting a red circle (no connection) on electrum  Huh

I'm not getting a connection either. I'm sure you can export the keys or regain them through a set of Electrum code words (assuming you wrote them down). I'd rather figure out how to re-establish the connection though, since I use that wallet (along with others) and we should have it working smoothly for the community. I'm guessing it's just a matter of adding some nodes; an electrum node list has probably been posted somewhere in the last 20 pages of this thread, but if we're patient a kind person will probably show up with instructions for us  Tongue

Yea FK, as I said in the Telegram app yesterday or the day before, that dip from 0.009 to 0.007 was clearly an opportunity to BTFD!

Congrats to all UNO believers and HODLers.

There is a difference between a regular ("8.....") or compressed ("a.....") private key WIF... But both qt and electrum should be able to work with either form.

If you don't have a connection you might try restarting electrum. The electrum servers are currently up but mine have been experiencing intermittent service provider outages...

Congrats everyone, and sorry I've been away. Recently made a move across country. Will be back posting more conversation fairly soon when I'm caught back up. Traveling for work quite a bit. Hope all the OGs are doing well. Smiley
