I have been holding it since last October! My bags are heavy! I simply want to spread the joy of Uno to others who want to carry some weight as well Edit: At about double the current valuation. Is that really so much to ask for?

We really should do 'in house trades' amongst the regulars here ... sirsmokesalot ... if you could be so kind as to tell what other alts you like I think a number of us will start stock piling a few so as to lighten your Uno bags.
In this way 'pending time' is no issue.

Put it up as a sale like a gentlemen (if possible) I held it through all the wolong nonsense anyway! Well i did sell about half of what i had around then, but in the past week or so i bought it back. I thought it had a bit higher to go! At least, that is the potential i see in the coin. Well the potential it can have. Getting everyone else to see it in the same light isn't nearly as easy. It isn't so much i wanna use my uno to shop as i want uno to be tied to some type of high value tangible goods. This, at least in my mind, would give uno value very close to what ever it was tied to. Example, an eighth of weed could go for an uno or two. That would give uno a value or at least 20 bucks a coin. 100 uno buys a volcano vaporizer (it is the bently of marijuana vaporizers), that puts uno at 5 bucks a coin at least. I could be very wrong in thinking this would have any impact. I am no economist or anything.

The coins i hold right now that i believe have some type of future: Xmr - Monero https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.0Pot - Potcoin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=426324.0Uno - We all know this on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500.0Those 3 coins make up 80% of my holdings at the moment. xmr is 26% uno is 41% and pot is 13%. The rest are smaller alts, ppc and like 8 other coins i am bag holding. I sold all my ltc so i could buy xmr. I spent my last 2.75 btc buying up unos when they were at the 3s. I would be interested in some in house trading, i wouldn't mind some positive trust ratings. I really am thinking i am delusional. The period in which uno was trading .07 seemed a lot longer in my mind when i look back on it in my memory. That is the price i like for uno to be trading around. It is hard to get it there because people seem intent on trading it lower and lower, i don't get it. The volumes on uno were HUGE when it was selling for so high. It doesn't make sense that people would keep selling it down so low. It is beyond frustrating?

uno can be used as a currency - although it's more a commodity. Whenever you find a buyer of uno who is willing to exchange something you want for it you already have that. If you really wanted to sell uno for some silver or gold, i think that wouldn't be an impossible task to get done for example. I think with someone acting as a middlemen you can get pretty much anything for uno since it is exchanged for bitcoin and fiat. The problem you seem to see is really not there. You can buy everything with uno. You just need to find a seller of the goods you want who is accepting Un or you need a person buying the stuff you want with fiat and exchanging the goods with you for Uno. It's not a problem. You can buy everything already with it. Why not open your own shop offering goods for Uno to even more tie it to tangible stuff?

did you create the config-file correctly with addnodes form the op? Tried to restart it? Check OP for instructions on config-file

just updated wallet
but wont sync
stuck at two days ago
last block time Tue Aug 5 18:24:18 2014
496934
gotta UNO or two would like to transfer
that's the old chain. Use only addnodes from OP - not the old ones. Don't use the old config-file. upadte config-file like shown in the OP and if it doesn't sync delete blockchain and load again with new config.

Gawd!! I have tried to kickstart the practice of in-house trading in several coin-communities, and here you are talking about it. My Mob calls it 'X-wipping' -- trading coin-for-coin, on a trust basis, on a web site.

uno has more than double the amount of active wallets (11500) than vericoin has (5500). Just a little cross-reference. Possibly a few thousand people own Uno already. Not many are writing in this thread by comparison.

couple of things, been holding uno since last year.
missed the transition to kg/g - can someone explain this clearly if it actually means anything as its confused me.
1kg is 1000g of course. So 1 Uno is 1KG and 1gram Uno is 0.001 Un if i am not mistaken. So when you think of 1 millibitcoin in uno you would say one gram. 1Uno = 1kg Unobtanium 1000 Uno is a ton ... and so on (uno is cryptographic material) ... there is also an option in the wallet to switch from kg to g and mg was coming by originally to tell you folks to trade a bit on mintpal. Don't let it die down like that. greetings.

thank you dumpers for giving away your profits so early and so low. This action is hilarious. Uno below 0.004 is SOLD OUT - it is hard to get a decent amount below 0.005 and they still need to dump. I think there is quite a few pathologic dumpers around. They only learned that - it's all they can. *press sell button* , *dump* lol good to get rid of them uno below 0.004: actually if you want to buy just 10 you have to pay 0.0044 keep dumping to the low 3s ... lol just because you don't see the buysupport doesn't mean it is not there. Wicked, yes. But we can only have people on board who can interpret specs correctly. There is no sellpressure in Uno now. N.O.N.E. Keep dumping.

well at least im not the only one! i am syncing good. Again: you need latest wallet together with the correct config-file (from the OP). Try to delete the blockchain in the appdata-folder (don't delete wallet.dat) and reload it with that correct addnodes. Should be working. If something is not clear, ask. Are you on windows or other OS?

what's the point behind it?
it's a commodity like silver/gold/platin/[...] can be used as a currency but it's primarily ment as a commodity that's why it's kg not plain 'coins' Uno is here to protect your wealth against inflation, just like gold, silver, platin does. It's a commodity with very limited supply. So denomination in weight makes actually kind of more sense than denomination in coins. It's mainly a crypto commodity - you can still use it as a currency of course (like you can use silver/gold as currency too) but 1 Uno = 1 Uno - lol. That's right.

also, id love to sell some of my home-grown herbs/extracts for uno/btc - not too trusting of the deepweb these days, SR & BMR were absolute joy to be involved with but now im wary to even log onto TOR at all.
are you in california?
