Turtles better to offer larger bids (down low) and nibble at a few kilos above the mark, than rushing up like a rabbit into the 8s-9s.  Turtles could take months to get to the 8s ... but when they get there ... they come with a war chest stocked with cash ready to convert and gold/silver ready to back.  

Wonder how many turtles might be gorging themselves fat and heavy on the cheap gold and silver?

BUT ... bter voting is a bitch ... you need to earn, via trading, the right to vote (hourly) ... which is a good policy actually.

I will be depositing some high volume coins on bter and will flip them from coin to cnY and back as their markets cycle... in this way you can hold cash there (but you are trusting them as you do a bank).

So BTER will be a long term "Let's Vote" project ... and do you see the benefit of being on BTER?

The ability to hold Chinese fiat ... aka ... helping decouple UNO from the btc pairing. [bonus Chinese traders]

Don't forget we need to work on developing the Blue $/un market and the Cry ripple/un market.

SirSmokes ... counting on you to get us a POT/Canna market pairing.

LeadDev ... counting on you to build an ALT market for Asset Backed coins and WallSt. stuff.

And last but most important the DVC/Uno/bullion project ... that's the big picture, long term, strongest value play.

In Brief:

plus a fair market direct pairing in up to 1 dozen popular coins.

plus hedges via 'colored coin contracts' ... say Euro$, Aussie$, commodityFutures, Dow, Beer, etc.

Askcoin.net has added Uno to their Vote List. If you are alreayd active on Askcoin, feel free to vote for Uno there.

Uno is also up for voting at BTER.  

As I look at UNO exchanges right now. I'm very pleased that we are on high quality exchanges.  
Because UNO by it's nature is a hodled coin, I believe new markets really need to bring something to the table for Uno.

With Bittrex & Cryptsy, we have access to a very large customer base. There's a lot of money & trades on those exchanges.
With Bleutrade (and Comkort), we have access to a USD market, and the ability to setup many alternate UNO/xxx pairings.

If we were to pro-actively solicit a new exchange for UNO, BTER or one of the major Chinese exchanges would be one of my top choice.s  BTER could bring BTC/CNY trading, and make Uno more accessible to East Asian markets.

Uno is current #41 on BTER, behind Android Tokens, which seems like a bit of a slap in the face, but then I don't think we've ever really focused on BTER. I think we could get it up into the top 15 pretty fast if we really tried, and then move on to convince BTER to add us. I don't think we have to win the vote -- if we can show a serious following, I think I can make a deal with them,  but we still need to be toward the top to demonstrate interest.



I can't really trade on any more exchanges. I'm a spread too thin for time. New exchanges really should bring something new and interesting to the table for UNO.

According to my previous market analysis in MMC/CNY - BTC/CNY - MMC/BTC, CNY pairs for altcoins in Bter have been depreciating their value due to Bter's highly volatile (or funnily stupid) BTC/CNY price!
If you are looking for stability, I'd say stay away from Bter.
If you are looking for volatility, I'd definitely recommend Bter.
However, considering the current distribution of UNO to the markets, you guys would be less affected by this volatility (or depreciation).
In conclusion, it'd be fun to see UNO in Bter

Thanks for that. I used to trade MMC and BTB over there quite activel.  MMC was a favorite of mine for awhile.

Lets start nudging Bter in Uno's direction and sending them friendly encouragement. Its a good fit for both Uno & Bter.

BTC-e offers better liquidity, no?  in terms of BTC
also gain name/peer markets as options as they trade mostly there.

What was the last coin btc-e added? It is nice to dream and we are better (at being less volatile) than half the coins up there, but then again acquisition works against us. If people couldn't unfairly mine and stack the deck in their favor there is a bit less zealous motivation for a push onto the "major" exchanges.  Btc-e would be great advertising for the coin. Having the coin more accessible to different markets is nice too.

Really, i can't wait for people to run with Uno. With hardly any daily supply diluting the total value, it truly is rather unique in the grand scheme of things. In the current landscape of things it is just as important to show that you are a plateau, rock steady, as it is to have crazy gains. Something has to sustain those gains and people are beginning to realize it takes quite a bit more than the support most coins have. Luckily for us, given the nature of the coin, it is rather hard to crash market even with a dump, or two. 2015 is going to be the year of Uno!

i'd like to see stablish 90day sideways but rock steady floor, 7 days of volatility to the north, repeat.  
as predictable as the 4 seasons  there is no exact date but there is consistently a pattern.

this givens strong hands time to build even stronger support (aka save $ to convert to un)

Speaking of milestones, a Dutch UNO holder Julian071 stopped by the "conspiracy" thread to say hi. While he was there, I asked him what other coins he was interested in and he said guildencoin, a Dutch national coin.  He asked me to check out a timeline and it was really cool.

If you look at what's at the top of BTER's vote list.... yikes.  Not much there that has any cap, any volume, and a lot of coins I had written off for dead. A lot of coins that even CMC won't list.  Uno would be a smart add.

CNY/DOGE seems pretty tight. Is there a better market to run up BTR points?

@ 2015: Year of Uno: yes. We gotta not blot our copy book between now and the halving; but yes: 2015 is gonna be the year for Uno.

@ Trading DVC can:

improve Unobtanium’s price-independence
strengthen our community
increase Uno’s on-block-chain volume a little
increase our understanding of the bullion markets and crypto-currency theory
create some lasting value (and by using that value, we can avoid selling Uno to finance some projects – so the existence of DVC is a sort of ‘buy-support’ for Uno)
