Manchester City have the midday kick-off game against a very good Crystal Palace team. If they drop points, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa can try to strengthen their claims for 4th or 5th position. by winning their games. Nottingham Forest have a difficult home game against Everton but Aston Villa should win away at Southampton.

Chelsea really would have no excuses if they fail to beat Ipswich Town at home today. Liverpool will try to win the game today after their loss at Fulham last week. I expect Newcastle United to beat Manchester United therefore Chelsea and Newcastle United can put pressure on Nottingham Forest and Manchester City for the Champions League spots.

Arsenal drop points again. Full credit to Brentford for not being intimidated, they deserved the draw. Nottingham Forest lost the game at home to Everton when they needed the points to stay away from teams closing in to their 3rd position.

Manchester City were 0-2 down but go on to win the game 5-2. They are trying to ensure they qualify for the Champions League next season but it could be too late because Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are trying to achieve the same.

The recruitment ETH and Manchester United scouts did in the last three seasons is why they are so bad and uncoachable; it will take more than this season and the next to get it back on track.  Amorim is a decent manager, better than Enzo Mascara, but he can't achieve much with the present Manutd squad.  I've never blamed him once, but I do feel bad for him.

Leaving Sporting Lisbon stranded in the middle of the season was a horrible decision, and I can see regret on his face.

Liverpool beat West Ham as expected, they will be announced as Premier League champions soon. Manchester United were fortunate to lose 4-1 because it could have been more of a disaster for them. Newcastle United deserved the win.

When Chelsea draw 2-2 against Ipswich Town, it means there are deep rooted problems at the club. Getting in to the Champions League will certainly guarantee Maresca with the backing of the board but anything less will be problematic.

Chelsea don't seem much competitive for a Champions League spot recently. Because they couldn't even defeat Ipswich which are obviously relegating from the Premier League this season. And this is 3rd point loss for Chelsea in the last 5 league matches.

Newcastle and Aston Villa both look more promising than Chelsea and Manchester City for 4th and 5th positions. If an English team win the Europa League too then things are going to be more interesting. But I still have serious doubts about it for now.

Chelsea are looking at a top five finish to the season because that will guarantee them Champions League football. If you ask a Chelsea fan if they would be happy finishing 5th and qualifying for the Champions League, I am sure by far the majority would be. Remember, they have a new manager that has never managed top flight football therefore he is learning.

I guess England will be one of the countries getting the extra spot for the Champions League. This means this time they will send 5 teams there directly. The 5th place in the league was never this important before.

Newcastle still have a missing match which is against Crystal Palace home. In case of winning that they are 3 points ahead of Chelsea too. They have a serious chance for the Champions League as a result but they still have tough matches to deal with as well. Such as Aston Villa, Arsenal and Chelsea. I'm not sure about Manchester United being that tough. I think Newcastle would defeat them easier.

Same 5 spots in the Champions League will also be extended to Spain too, I'm sure of it because their exploit in the Competition so far, so I'm not over ruling that possibility. I know Newcastle has been doing nonsense for some time but I think after they won the Carling Cup final against Liverpool seems like they have picked up form. Right now Newcastle will definitely qualify and I think this their outstanding game against Crystal Palace they will win it tomorrow to go above Nottingham Forest and move to third. I'm fully in support of Newcastle to make it for the Champions League last season.

With the recent performance of Newcastle the probability of them qualifying for the champions League is high and they will be playing their reschedule game tomorrow so a win for Newcastle will be a good boost to them because with a win over palace tomorrow they will be two points ahead of Forest and this will put Newcastle United in a commanding position going into the remaining games of the season

Result from the game played yesterday:

Bournemouth 1-0 Fulham

I expected Fulham to get a draw but Bournemouth got all three points. They now move up to 8th in the Premier League table but are six points behind Aston Villa in 7th therefore cannot mount a challenge for the final Champions League spot. As for Fulham, had they won the game they would have been just three points behind Aston Villa and would have kept their hopes of Champions League football alive.

Yes united is used to winning trophies in the past and that was because the structure and players to do that was there this is another era entirely so these points will needs to be taken to account I don't think that selling onana will even solve united problems you see over the weekend when onana was benched that United conceded four goals so that goes a long way in telling you that there is something fundamentally wrong with the team united is lacking in terms of quality players.



So united should focus on bringing quality players especially in the front line the attack is not potent enough they should break the bank and bring oshimen to old Trafford because it will be of help to united, the current players in United can't be used in winning the premier League and it's clear to everyone to see but united board has refused to release money that can be used in bringing quality players to strengthen their squad

Unfortunately Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe is still unwell. He will not be at the game and has not been on managerial duties either. I am sure football fans wish him a swift recovery. He was admitted to hospital on Friday after a pneumonia diagnosis and is still there.

They beat Manchester United 4-1 on Sunday and now need another three points for their Champions League ambitions.

Yeah, now they're acting like they're still football royalty in the years to come just like how Liverpool fans were during the years when they were not winning anything.  It could happen to any club at anytime after a great manager leave the club.  There will be a few exceptions tho.  And only time will tell which clubs those will be. 

Guardiola is prolly leaving on 2027, so let's see how good Txiki and Ferran Soriano actually are after Pep. 

Arsenal on the other hand could be in a rut after Arteta.

If you see correctly Newcastle is in the best situation at this time in the Premier League, from my eyesight the two teams contradictory both of them want to win in this match, but the name of the match of course one must lose and one must win.

Even so, I still stand on the side of Newcastle United.

Newcastle just secured their position in the top4 spot and now above Nottingham. Winning crystal palace by 5 goals was a bold statement from a team that wants to qualify for the champions league. Crystal palace never stand a chance in this game. From the first half, they already lost the game as they couldn't keep up to Newcastle. Isak getting the last goal of the game means all front three of Newcastle squad scored in this game which is crazy. Isak has been so good this season, he has been on top form and I'll be suprise if he's still a player of Newcastle by next season because I think a lot of clubs will be coming for his signature.
