Lukaku plays well but only against defenders he can bully which he could at Italy.  In the EPL, not so much.

He had that one excellent season in Italy and based on that the Chelsea owners went against the wishes of then manager Tuchel and bought him for a ridiculous amount of money. They were thinking he was going to bring Chelsea immediate success but Tuchel found he could not play the way he wanted therefore his time was short at Stamford Bridge. He had so much potential at West Brom, it is hard to work out where it wrong for Lukaku.

This is another interesting thing. It has been 24 days since Arne Slot started to manage Liverpool. But don't they still have a transfer list or something after all these days? 

I have heard about only Takefusa Kubo's name as a target for them. He is a really talented right-winger and could even be a replacement for Salah maybe in the long run. Meanwhile there is a chance for Liverpool to lose some important players this summer also.

At least some news sources are writing about it.    They had significant issues with staying in the title race last season. Arne Slot should make his transfer plans accordingly to have a stronger team.

It was always mentioned Lukaku did tend to lose the ball when up against formidable defenders but the truth is he has been doing it regularly against average opposition too. They sold him for a huge fee then purchased him back when there was no need because he did not find success at Manchester United and was struggling in the Premier League even if he did well under Conte at Inter Milan. It was a mistake to buy him back when Tuchel clearly did not want him.

There are no outgoings so no incomings, isn't it? Aside from that, Liverpool is in a contract issue with the club captain, assistant captain, and Salah all running out of contract and Salah could Walk free next summer, it's a difficult situation.

Yes, this time, the Liverpool transfer market hasn't moved much. They haven't even purchased any players yet. There are only a few rumors related to this club. The latest rumor is that Liverpool are linked with one of the Galatasary players, Barış Alper Yılmaz. Liverpool have placed a bid on this Right Winger of $33m (£25m/€30m). However, no agreement has been reached yet and negotiations are still ongoing. Liverpool were not as aggressive and not in a rush this time. It's just that time is running out, while their front line still needs to be strengthened again.

I think the Saudi Pro League did not make a secondary bid for Mbappe after he made it clear his childhood dream was to play for Real Madrid. At least one Saudi club offered ridiculous money to buy him and then to pay his salary but it was rejected by PSG.

Last season even Real Madrid made an offer to buy Mbappe after he announced he wanted to move but PSG stated they would not sell him. They also accepted he would not be offered a new contract and he would be allowed to leave on a free transfer when his contract expired.

Salah is one of the most prominent Muslim footballers in Europe, and they could go to any length to get or seduce him again, but Salah would most likely prefer to run down his contract so that he has control over his next move. It would be sensible to sell Salah and utilise the proceeds to extend Trent and VDJ contracts.

That's what I was thinking, if they could sell Salah for a lot of money, it wouldn't really be a bad idea to do that, maybe it wouldn't be that great to lose him, but they could get someone better. If they end up spending that money on a player like Darwin Nunez, then yeah that wouldn't really be something nice, but that is not something that we could end up doing all that easily, we should consider how they are troubled with all of that. If they sell him, make a lot of money, spend that money on some 23-25 year old that ends up playing well? Then that would be the ideal world and that's what they should be doing.

The only issue is that, they don't know who to get, just because they can sell Salah for a lot of money, doesn't mean that they have an idea of who to get after they got that money. If they have no idea, and we are nearing August, that means they are going to face a lot of trouble and wouldn't prefer to have something like that at all. They can put some money on top of that and get a superstar too, like someone who would be way too big, but if that transfer fails, it would be even worse and that is why I suggest that they should probably keep Salah until they have a deal with some other great player.

Currently he is their highest player with the highest bid among all who are in for release this season. Its important that we understand that apart from winning trophies one primary objective of club is business another to have financial gain. Napoli wants to maximize Osimehns value and prefer holding until there is a potential higher transfer fee. I dont think this salutation will change anytime soon. It might remain deadlock for some period.

Slot stated in a press conference they were waiting for the right player to come along before they would go out and buy. That seems like a sensible approach to me. especially if he wants to start introducing new players to the dressing when he himself is a new manager at the club.

Liverpool are probably resigned to letting Salah go at the end of the season for free because he will probably not accept being sold in the winter transfer season when he could get a huge signing on fee and inflated salary if he signed for a European or Saudi club without them having to pay Liverpool to buy him. With him gone, at least Liverpool will end up saving a reported £350,000 a week they pay Salah but replacing him will be a major problem.

I am not sure they will be keen on van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold leaving (nor Nathaniel Phillips to a lesser extent) but the manager and club will have to decide on this soon otherwise they could walk away on free transfer too.

Osimhen and his agent allowed Napoli to fool them, and now they're paying the price. The best time for him to leave was last season after they won the league, but instead he extended and allowed Napoli to include an unimaginable clause in his contract that no one is willing to pay, and the club does not want to keep him or lower their asking price. They will not mind sending him to Saudi Arabia as long as their demands are met. I do not feel sorry for him; he caused his own problems.

Liverpool fans won't like this but now should be the best time for Mo Salah to leave. Liverpool aren't in a great shape right now and him staying is going to disvalue him. If the Saudis are coming for him for a decent price, he should go and let Liverpool have the money to rebuild.

Let us not mention race in this issue because it has nothing to do with it. Osimhen, with his injury history, is not worth €120m, and we all know it. Napoli did him wrong with his contracts, and PSG is the only club striving to make anything happen after other clubs dropped out due to the exorbitant fees.

He's 25 with two years left on his contract; if he decides not to transfer to Saudi, he could spend the season on the bench, no issue; run down his contract to 12 months to reduce his release clause and move next summer, but Conte can't get Lukaku if he decides to stay, Napoli cannot force Osimhen out so he has some kind of leverage too.

This is going to sound strange but there is a logic that can be seen if Liverpool do not even buy any players before the season starts. The manager has a good pool of players (some young and some vastly experienced) to choose from and has more than enough talent to put forward an excellent starting eleven until the winter transfer window opens.

If their new manager prefers to select a team from his current squad to give him a perspective on how to engage during the winter transfer window to strengthen his group, that is his right. I will not blame the owners for not buying players if the manager does not want them. They should allow Slot to move forward the way he thinks best.
