Manchester City will probably not dominate the Premier League again, I think their time to win trophies at will is over and Guardiola would prefer a new challenge.

It is a brave claim that Manchester City won't do so considering they won the Premier League 6 times in the last 8 years. But you might actually be right. Because they have competition from now on even if they get stronger next season.

Liverpool are in a great shape now. Arne Slot won the league championship without transfers. After this summer we will probably watch a much deadlier team next season. Frimpong is on his way to Liverpool already for example.

I will make another brave claim 

Fulham will beat Manchester City and at the same time Newcastle United, Chelsea and Aston Villa will win their games and qualify for the Champions League.  If that were to happen, Manchester City would not qualify and it would signal the end of Guardiola at the club.

But as for 'the end' of Guardiola, nah...  If he decides to stay around, I'd say the club gives him a few hundred million to for a midfield overhaul with the departure of KDB and possible departure Rodri.  Not sure which ones are in their list tho.

Man just squandered €200m in January, no current Manager gets the kind of privileges he gets and the amount being thrown at him at every summer.

Rodri departure or backup? I know he may likely return to Spain if his injury continues again next season, but I don't see them losing both KBD and Rodri in the same summer.

My predictions for the teams joining them are Man city, Chelsea and Newcastle. With the recent Tottenham win they too will be playing in the champions league so we should be having 6 representive and I don't see any reason why a premier league club shouldn't bring home the trophy this time. We should be dominating Europe more because it seems Madrid and Barca are our only challenge yet we haven't been able to bring home more silverwares. I don't see how Chelsea are to lose to nothingham, we doing that means we had a bad season irrespective of winning the conference cup. We winning our last two matches will make it to be an  average season than how bad it has been.

I don't think it would still be the end of Guardiola era to be honest. I know how Ancelotti has ended up at Real Madrid now. But I don't expect Manchester City board to do the same. Let's see if this scenario comes out to be true first.

Those two are not longer our only rivals, now we have PSG and Inter Milan doing wonders from the back when no one expected it. Both clubs will create a lot of problems next season.

You could be right. Having said that, there will be many moments throughout the games today. After the final whistle, it will be interesting to see how your selections compared.

Yes I have also heard about that statement. He wants to sell a lot of players this summer. By the way they didn't fail their fans today by defeating Fulham away. They are in the Champions League at least despite finishing the season with only a Community Shield trophy.

Chelsea got what he wanted by a win. Newcastle really surprised me but the more dramatic one is that Aston Villa got a red card and missed a huge chance. I can't imagine how many people bet on them and Newcastle both today.

Martinez received an iconic red card in his final game with Aston Villa, in the most important game of the season.  I'm not sure how the fans will react, but Martinez will be gone in a few days, and they'll have the Europa League.  Newcastle United was the luckiest club today, capitalising on Chelsea and Manchester United's results to stay afloat.

It was a fun ride, y'all. Not the final day performance I was hoping for, but Chelsea got the best slot and a Champions League football for next season.  All attention is now focused on the Conference League Final.

This is what happens when you set a high bar and fail to fulfil expectations and maintain the level; Pep set the bar so high in the last 7 years that we couldn't envision him going trophyless; he spoilt the fans with so much success that when it stops, they look for someone else. I know I've always wanted Pep out of the league for various reasons, but anyone who wants him out because he didn't win a title this season is unfair.

This is the exact same treatment Ancelotti received from Real Madrid; he won two Champions League titles, league trophies, and resurrected the club, but the only time he went trophyless, the fans and club refused to support him and sent him out in the middle of the season.( Miss out on FWCC tournament )

Without a doubt Guardiola raised the bar but he came to Manchester City when they had a brilliant squad and did not have build his own team, that happened organically over a period of time. When they went a season with nothing to show for it it seems a big disaster for them. We still have to see what happens with the 115 charges of financial impropriety against Manchester City. Guardiola threatened to quit if they are found guilty. He also threatened to quit if the size of the squad is not reduced. It seems as though Guardiola is looking for a way (or an excuse) out.

As for Real Madrid, their fans and board are always looking for exceptional success. Ancelotti gave them a lot of success over multiple occasions when he managed them but the fans want immediate success. Alonso is the new manager at Real Madrid, I hope he is given time.

They won't so we should be expecting a Pep departure and here comes the problem I have with this top managers, they don't know when to quit, they think they can always do something to turn the tables around but end up getting disgrace with the sack. More entertaining managers are coming into the limelight, Man city should go get someone else ASAP or they stand to suffer the same fate they had this season. He changed his position and said that he would stay with the team even if they were relegated as punishment, and that he would never abandon the team.  He has always been driven by money rather than principles, It was a poor season for the team overall, but is there anyone better than him outside right now?  That is the question.

We have left a quite interesting season behind. The most unusual part was to see Tottenham and Manchester United right above the relegation zone. These teams played a Europa League finale and Tottenham are going to the Champions League. The Premier League is sending 6 teams there. 9 teams in total are joining a European tournament next season. I don't know how the general success would be but this is impressive anyway. By the way it will be nice to see Chelsea back in the Champions League after a 2-year break.

Manchester City were definitely extremely fortunate to get qualification for the Champions League. This might have given Guardiola a short-term reprieve but it cannot change the fact his position as manager is no longer guaranteed.

Real Madrid are a massive club, they do not want to settle for second best. Alonso will try to make them La Liga champions again but he will need time to settle in to the job. For me, he is the right man for the job but they will need to have patience.

By the way it will be nice to see Chelsea back in the Champions League after a 2-year break.

I dislike Enzo Mascara and believe he should be replaced by a more tactically competent manager, but I must admire him for what he has accomplished in such a short period of time this season.  This is something that the last four managers could not accomplish, so while he gets his roses this season, I still want him to fuck off.  We usually win after taking short vacations from CL.

Oook, so it looks like the clubs who were expected to be in the top 4, got in the top 4.    And for a bad season, Man City is just three points behind Arsenal.  That's not bad imho.  And as for Guardiola, it's gonna be interesting what City is gonna do with his demands to sell around 10 players as he explicitly said the team is bloated and that he's having a hard time managing a lot of players.

Let's see how he could make his squad leaner.  It could go easily same as the last season and be bad again or he could turn it around and win the league.  The haters would hate to see that tho.    But that's football.  Not sure why there's hate in the beautiful game.
