PSV fans have every reason to celebrate as they are already starting the league well with victories, good for them! It's never Rosy, but with their win shows that is possible for them to be champions 2 times in a row(anything is possible). I checked through the analysis of Ajax match against Co Eagles and noticed that Ajax had a poor performance in the game, I truly doubt their potential in contesting for the league title this season -- an indication was a tie in their very first match to a small team. They should rather start now to fight for a second place in the league.

Although, I'm not expecting Ajax to win their next match which would be against a weak opponent side, hopefully they can pick up a win in the game. We could see that almost all the big teams have won their opening matches, but Ajax failed to proved their readiness by dropping points.

PSV starts the league with the championship.
Despite falling behind 1-0 to Go Ahead Eagles, PSV scored two goals in the dying minutes to win the match and win the trophy.
PSV was the clear favorite, and even the betting odds were very low for PVS to win.
They struggled a bit, but they managed to win. Congratulations, PSV.

PSV showed class and superiority against Go Ahead Eagles despite conceding two goal from the opponent, it shows how resilient the PSV squad is and perhaps this is why they are referred to as one of the strongest team in Eredivisie over the years. PSV Eindhoven continued their consistent run after last season's struggle with Ajax Amsterdam and it seems like this season rivalry would be more fierce in the Dutch league.

We have to be super honest with this and we have to congratulate the Go Ahead Eagles management, i mean they make super good matches against the top teams, and it seems like a nightmare for PSV and AJAX when they have to face them. So i really want to congratulate the players of Go Ahead Eagles.

Strange round in Eredivisie before international break. Ajax gamewith promoted Volendam ended 1:1. Didn't saw this game, but from stats it looks like equal teams played, Ajax didn't had advantage.
But even bigger upset happened in PSV - Telstar game. Champions lost game 0:2 at home against team that returned to top division after several decades. I guess that it can be biggest upset of whole season.
Twente also unexpected lost to Excelsior.
Tomorrow we will have Rotterdam derby between Sparta and Feyenoord.

It was a strange round indeed. While I was putting together a bet slip earlier today, Eredivisie was one of the leagues I checked. I saw the Ajax and PSV games and even though both teams have been good since the new season started, I didn't like the odds.

Imagine:

• Ajax to win away 1.28
• PSV to win at home 1.10

And winning is never guaranteed. That's why I opted out to pick a different game. Even when PSV was down by 1 goal, I was tempted to try it out on a sportbook that allows for live betting. Good thing I skipped that as well.

Telstar had over 23 odds to win PSV! That's insane.

I took a look at the odds that Telstar had to win it was 18 Odds. I think Telstar are newly promoted because I use to add them to my game last season in the Dutch second professional league. I saw this score line and I almost doubted my sight because is this the great PSV that I know or other team that is having  to suffer  this fate? Ordinarily before  the kick off, I had taught  the PSzv was definitely going  to win even with a good margin but Interestingly, the statistics showed that Telstar did not just get lucky but they made a very good attempt at the game and the luck came In their favour.  This will be a mess  to PSV that their prowess can be challenged and they have to further improve with the work they put in this is they must maintain  their status as a bigger side.

Ajax have dropped points twice in their first 4 games of the season. Only Feyenoord have had a clean slate so far with 3 wins in 3 games. I didn't expect that PSV loss yesterday because that's the kimd of games that you'd see them lead 3-0 to 4-0 from the first half but it wasn't the case yesterday. This kimd of situation happens to all teams. Games will start slow and you'd concede. Then they wave it off but as the clock edges towards 90" minutes mark, it becomes a difficult jobto do.

I'd like to see a different champion in the eredivisie this season. Maybe it's time Feyenoord win it again.

Well it did took so many by surprise that PSV lost that particular game when ordinarily it was expected of them to win it even effortlessly but just like football does happen, it turned out that PSV suffered such fate at the time.  I am very optimistic that against Ajax or AZ , PSV will make good progress and will get at least a point from each of this fixtures, it is only going to be a tough one because the other teams are actually strong but they are mostly not going to just win PSV because even PSV is a very solid team.

Of course, this was a very surprising defeat, because how could the best team in the Eredivisie lose to a promoted team? Even more surprising was that PSV Eindhoven lost at home without scoring a single goal against Telstar.  This was a rather embarrassing result for PSV, but for Telstar, it was a satisfying result because their first victory of the season was against the big team PSV Eindhoven. This result could be a new source of motivation for Telstar's players to perform even better and compete to stay in the top tier of the Dutch league.

Moving on to another team, it is unfortunate that NEC Nijmegen also had to swallow the bitter pill of defeat in their fourth week, losing narrowly to Fortuna with a score of 2-3. Despite this, NEC had shown promising form at the start of the season.

Ordinarily these two are usually the best with form in the eredivise, like you best described, it is usually an epic one whenever they are in their top form in any of the seasons. It even looks to me that PSV may be quicker to recovery than Ajax because even for a long time now over thr years that is how it has been mostly and so I will not be expecting any less with PSV most especially.

Honestly, I had put PSV in my parlay, and I even regretted doing so because the odds were so low that it didn't make any sense to put them in. For example, they were @1.09, so I was very convinced that there was no problem in putting PSV in my parlay, since they were the better team for me. So, I felt comfortable putting them in. But when I was watching the game, it seemed like I was facing an unknown team.

They conceded 2 goals against an opponent that hadn't won in 3 consecutive games. I could even accept a draw, I would consider it just bad luck, but conceding 2 goals and not scoring any goals against this weak opponent was a huge exaggeration. I will be very careful from now on. I want to avoid unpleasant surprises like this.

I didn't watch this game because I was watching other games, I was just following the results on Google, but I was very shocked when they scored 1 goal, I took a deep breath and thought: "PSV will score an equalizer and win this game." I continued following the game, but when I saw the second goal, I was honestly shocked and lost all hope

my multi bet only had the PSV game left, I had already gotten all the games right, but with this PSV defeat I lost my bet. From now on I will not bet on them anymore, I see that their problem from last season still continues, last season, in the first games until the middle of the season they were very unstable, strange that in the last games they started to play well and became champions.

This is football for you some times you see these types of upset because these times of results comes only once in a while but for Telstar nice win for them as it will help them to build confidence because PSV is one team that is a dominant force when it comes to the eredivisie

I couldn't watch the full game but the statistics tell me that PSV could have scored multiple goals. 1.72 xG and 4 big chances... Telstar manager must be grateful for their GK's great effort.  

Sometimes this kind of shocking results happen. This doesn't still change the fact that PSV are huge favourites for the league title. You can read it from the odds at the same time.

One thing that I have seen this season is that small teams are really trying to make impression because looking at teams like Sunderland in the English premier League they have been fantastic, small teams like Telstar getting this type of good result away from home is to show that traditional big teams should sit up because the so called smaller teams have improved their squad depth and it's going to tell on their performance.
