Im not quite sure what is the latest news about this match between Pacman and Crawford... but what i remember is bob arum ( TRP) already talked to pacman camp ( after months of two during pandemic) , that they accept the offer and they setting up the match and scheduled to happen in Qatar..  I don't know why there are some rumors about another match for pacman such Ryan Garcia and GGG.  Is this not yet settled?  Cause you know this a very exciting match and they should accept the offer before anyone does.

though he's 43, Manny still in good shape. they are very comfortable discussing the fees with the public. Terence will likely ask for more than $10M, he could demand more than that he has a title and if Pacquaio will really fight whoever he shares in the ring then a few more Million won't make Manny back away fight. amidst the current situation, these fighters will want more than just one fight.

checked google for articles and it seems that there were talks about Crawford and Pacquiao fight in the mid of 2020 and November 2020 but there were no deals were made back then

I must be in the strange minority that doesn't care if I ever see Pacquiao fight again.  That Mayweather fight bored me to tears and made me resent both fighters.  They may be two of the best to ever do it or whatever, but I find myself more focused on whatever plate of nachos I'm eating at a random bar then on watching either of them fight.  Maybe the UFC has taken some of my interest away from watching these 140lb guys slap at each other with heavily padded hands for 10 rounds to wait on a decision, but I really really miss the way boxing used to be a long time ago when there were heavyweight champions like Mike Tyson who truly struck fear into the hearts of men.

Remove Triple G out of the picture, what weight they are going to fight? another catch weight? not good for Manny's legacy, besides it's not a win-win situation for him.

Bud Crawford is a perfect fight for Manny, Crawford has been calling Manny as well, obviously for the biggest paycheck of his career, so it make sense that Bob and Manny sit down and make this fight happen this year. Will be the biggest fight and the money generated could be huge as well.

Pacquiao Manny who we all know to be a fighter had sometimes said "i can fight anyone in the ring," so, with this offering of $10m to fight Terence Crawford definitely should be the fight of the year IMO. In Pacquiao Manny last fight he had wasn't a replicate of who he's or was, but with this fight in the month of May, 2021 in Dubai will be great and won't mise it for any reason.

It sounds like Bob Arum entered into a bidding war with Conor McGregor over who fights Manny Pacquiao next. Conor announced plans to box Pacquiao last year in 2020. And trained primarily with boxers in preparation for it. Bob Arum entering talks of promoting a fight with Pacquiao is a strange move. It could be an attempt to sabotage or obstruct Conor McGregor's negotiations with Pacman.

Bob Arum and Dana White have an ongoing feud as well. Dana blames Bob Arum for ruining boxing as a sport. Bob Arum is one of those long time boxing promoters who hasn't done much to promote boxing to young athletes. And so perhaps deserves some of the criticism.

Oh yes! Anything that the People's Champ fights will definitely become the fight of the year. Although the fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury may be a contender, seeing the 42-year old Senator fight a deadly boxer in his prime is just a feast to the eyes.

I also agree that Crawford should definitely take this offer. To be honest, regardless of the outcome of the fight, it is a win-win situation for him. He gets the recognition that he fought one of the legendary boxer in boxing and he also gains a significant amount of share in the fight.

I do hope that this fight pushes through and I will definitely also putting my bets on the People's Champ!

Crawford is likely to accept that offer if he's okay with the amount or gets into negotiation if he's not agreeing with the amount but agrees to have a match with the people's champ.

This would be an awesome fight and is definitely going to be among the TOP 3 fights of 2021. The Mayweather fight will also be a nice and should be named as well if it doesn't get postponed until 2022. The bookmakers are loving both of the fights for sure. I will be betting on both of them, just not sure which side yet.

At last, it might happen. We've been waiting for Manny Pacquiao's answer to Crawford's call since Crawford' TKO at fourth round against Kell Brook. This video might be the one that started it. Kind of hyped when I saw this last month and not expecting this will really happen, now it has a higher chabce to happen.

Been a Pacquiao fan but this will be a hard fight considering how good and powerful Crawford is, another undefeated.

Well, I dont know if the age of Pacquiao does not a play factor here his opponent Terence Crawford is a little bit higher than Pacquiao.
I thought Manny Pacquiao was so busy on his optical career as a senator but you know, --he cants obviously leave his boxing career where he becomes one of the richest people in our country. Boxing like any sport goes through Golden ages and then Dark ages, the pandemic and the fact that many of the boxing stars are getting very old it seems to announce that a kind of boring age of boxing is coming, fighters are not as aggressive as they were back then and they prefer to play more safely, this also happens because there is an increased awareness about the dangers of receiving a lot of damage especially on the head, and when we take into account that boxing has finally a competitor in the UFC then that means that it has also lost some of its luster over the years.

I'm sure Crawford will agree to the fight, every boxer just want to get it on in the boxing ring with Manny Pacquiao, every boxer who is legit to fight Pacquiao wants Pacquiao because betting Pacquiao, will be the biggest milestone of their career and they want him to be the one to retire and get the baton from Pacquiao, some people including Arum thinks that Manny Pacquiao is risking a lot with Crawford who is a very dangerous fighter, but Manny is not showing that age is catching up with him, let's see that happen when fight materialize.

I really love this fight. Almost every top fighter from PBC's stable has been avoiding Crawford for years. Pacquiao being the only one brave enough to challenge him when he doesn't need this fight for his legacy would only enhance his reputation regardless of the outcome of the bout. I imagine there would be some MIddle Eastern countries willing to bid for the right to host this event but it still seems like $50 million in guaranteed purses is a really high expectation that will be hard to meet.

Biggest paycheck for Crawford is this match pushes through.

Many boxing analyst in the Philippines thought that Pacman will fight Mikey Garcia next and personally a fight with the latter is appropriate in this stage of his career. Most people don't really care if Pacman will cherry pick as he don't have anything to prove anymore and it is just a bonus that he once again fight.

Pacman asking 40M USD for this fight, that means he is serious and i just don't know if there are promoters willing to do this as the amount is too high.
