As for Mikey Garcia, Manny all the way here, Mikey Garcia will be too slow for Manny here and I will say it is a bad stylistic matchup. Manny will just pot shot him with left, this is probably just for the big pay check that everyone wanted to get out of fighting Manny Pacquiao.

I'm gonna agree with you on this, and Mikey Garcia is not undefeated, I think people would love to see Manny fight an undefeated champion and the best option is only between Crawford or Spence Jr and I believe we will see that fight very soon. Mikey Garcia loss to Errol Spence Jr in a unanimous decision, he is not a good match up with Manny since we all want to see a more exciting match.

When he fought Thurman he was 40 years IIRC, people said the same concern but Manny still won and it's even almost a domination by him although the scorecard says it was a split decision. Thurman was younger than him, undefeated and a champion, but Manny beat him.

^^ I would love to see Pacquiao fight Crawford because Terrence is one of the best welterweight out there. But in any case, settling against a over ballooned Mikey is not that bad. We are waiting for Manny's return and I think if he can win against Mikey, he can still get a crack on Terrence Crawford next and fight for his belt.

What's stopping these professional boxers to fight the Pacman? Pacquiao is aging now and there's a higher chance they would win against him but due to his agility and experience in the ring many of them hesitated to take Pacquiao's offer. This is why he is still has on it with him and even De La Hoya is aging than Pacman but he still managed to fight some great fighters too.

Terrence Crawford against Pacquiao is already a win-win offer if Crawford accept the fight. We fans of boxing just love to see our favorite warrior fight inside the ring. They should make it to happen or else give a better opponent for Manny Pacquiao.

excited when Manny Pacquiao does have an upcoming fight, even though pays might differ into each boxer he fought but doesnt mean that it will really be a big hindrance for him
to decline if something had been offered in the table.
Its been a while that we havent seen this legend to fight inside the ring which is understandable due to this pandemic situation we are experiencing currently.

The fight night will begin on Saturday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT.
There's already a schedule which means this fight is already fixed but I agree that Arum didn't still give a word so those proclamations or announcement
aren't final.

I hope this site is reliable as other than what you shared, I can't find any information online that would validate the event to be fixed and final. Everyone is waiting for this, but until there's no official announcement by the promoter, I'm not sure I will believe any sites that published a schedule of the fight.

It's old article though, back read a a few pages and you will see that it  was discussed already and even his coach says that Manny is not a good match for Ryan at this point in his career, Manny will be too much for the young Garcia.

I know his coach already said manny is not a good match for him but it seems that he was still hoping for a fight with Pacquiao up until now. the article I shared was created on March 2 so Ryan Garcia saying "To all my fans and supporters, my fight with Manny Pacquiao is not happening right now. I tried my best after getting the call to fight him but didn't happen due to some issues I didn't expect to come up but I'm already working on the next fight. Arum is the promoter, he will not be left out in this fight, AFAIK the money goes through Arum before going to the fighters. Having no contract means that Crawford will have to do all the menial and mundane work and he needs to hire staffs of his own to do that which can be a problem for someone who doesn't know office work. The middleman controls the game, they can be a problem if they are let out because most middlemen in boxing scene have the deepest connections with the right people which means that they can eff up the gig if they were ever let out. Pacquiao should retire IMO, because he overshadows the other Filipino boxers.

Like I've said before, fighting Crawford for a 40M USD is just Manny taunting Bob Arum and the old Top Rank honcho did not take the bait, why the hell he would pay a huge amount of money for an old Pacman  .
