These days, we have a race every week. The Mexico GP last week wasn't very enjoyable for me except the start of the race. Verstappen's start was awesome and he took the lead by overtaking both of the Mercedes drivers already. And the incident between Bottas and Ricciardo was very unfortunate. Because Bottas got a very deserved pole position in the qualifying and he could have had a really solid race too. But Ricciardo messed things up for him. It was a bad day for Mercedes and a very good one for Red Bull. Verstappen dominated the race and Perez finished on the podium (3rd place).

I'm excited about the race in Brazil this weekend. I hope to see a competitive race and a race with a lot of overtakes. The Brazil GP hasn't been one of the boring tracks so far. So, I'm looking forward to see it. Let's see if Hamilton will lessen the point gap with Verstappen which is 19 points now.

Unfortunately, I was not able to watch the race in Mexico live.  But I know the results, and they certainly did not bring anything unusual, maybe only joy for Perez's victory at the home race.  He's done well, got to the podium.  But the 19 point difference is quite a problem for Lewis, more so that Verstappen seems to be in great shape. 
We are waiting for the Brazilian stage, where the track is really interesting. In 2019, Max won on this track, and Bottas showed the minimum lap time.

Ding dong dilly, looks like we're headed for some end of season dramatics now with Hamilton and Verstappen both getting in hot soup over illegalities, seems they're expecting some huge penalties, so those guys chasing them could be extra motivated to make the last few races count!

I hate redipping into Bottas after missing out on his win, time to gear up on him again, what do you think guys?

Good possibility Bottas will stand at the podium but along side Hamilton and Max.
In what order, could not say as Brazil looks to be another hard track and if there is a crash then one or both of those I just mentioned might be out of the race early.
Sprint race today in a few hours.
Will be watching it live while it happens along with practice 2 going on soon.
Since there isn't any pro league play in the major soccer venue this weekend.

Have we ever had a situation about a rule breach that has been deliberated on for so long?

I can not think of one, I am amazed nothing was announced before P2..

I get the situation with Max touching Lu Lu's car is around the scenario, but I think we can all see it was just a touch and the 2 issues are separate in reality.

What a season!! Can't wait for Ron Howard to get his hands on this one!!

Good luck guys, I took Bottas at 10's for now because the FIA are pretty much a RNG case when it comes to fines and bans..

Never ...we had never had a situation like this who take so long in order to be solved. Why is taking this so long ? because most likely this decision will influence the title so much that they need all the time they can get before doing the statement. Is this hurting the sport ? yes. is this better for a fair fight for the title ? probably.

I do think that both of them will get a penalty but it will be a fair one for both of them. FIA cannot make any mistakes today.

Also the odds are down right now so probably a FIA statement will be made soon so let's see how this will go on.

Very interesting sprint race about to start.
If you check the odds they have all shifted in Verstappen's favor between 1.32x for sprint and 1.43x for tomorrow's race.

Mercedes found guilty of breaching rear wing technical regulations -quoted directly from Sky sports broadcast just before the sprint race.
Hamilton will start 20th for today so a long shot.

I selected Lewis for tomorrows final race @10.60x so we will see who gets their pick correct Steve!

I just took Sprint Race to be won by either Leclerc or Sainz as call this one crazy but Hamilton loved and still loves Senna so much and if he has some karma left in the air for him to fight for this title, the Senna double apex could bring a crash with Max and Bottas or Perez... . Also both of Ferrari drivers have 41 odds

I find the penalty rather small, since they've probably had this... "problem" for many races before.
Oh well... at least it makes the end of season more interesting.


I've watched the sprint and although I don't like Hamilton at all, I can admit that he made a great race.
I was surprised how good the soft tyres did, probably the dropping/not-so-hot temperatures had a bigger effect than expected, which was great for both Bottas and Sainz.
It was quite interesting that although they have Mercedes engine, the McLaren cars didn't just let Hamilton pass them (especially Ricciardo).

It was a great sprint race. These nice short races tend to get more intense than the actual race
However, let's see later today the real deal

So did I understand that there are no points penalties? I mean starting last and a paltry euro fine doesn't feel like it's enough deterrent for them to not do shit like that again...

And how about Bottas? I took a 55/10 on him winning fastest lap on the race but did not put big money on it (just Clubhouse freebies heh) so yeah I won but it does feel like I should have trusted my gut, now that the odds dropped to 44/10 after he won the sprint by over a second.

Enjoy the race in about 3 hours+!

- Flexing wings.
- Holes in the wheel rims.
- DAS was illegal but they said "ok use it and we will ban it the next year".

Actually I find the Mercedes car much better now than just a few races back. It's like a different, much better car. They did wonders with this last 5th engine.
I don't say that Hamilton is a weak driver, he's clearly not and the so easy overtaking in the sprint race and in the normal one is his merit too, but, by far, it's not his only merit.

On the other hand, something was clearly not working good enough with RBR cars. Their strategy was not bad (also this time they managed to correctly snatch the extra point for fastest driver), but I think that the fine tuning was not as good as in other races.

The Ferrari - McLaren fight seems to be getting a result which I wouldn't have been able to foresee at the start of the season. The Ferrari cars seem to go better and better and McLaren just doesn't keep the pace. Their 1-2 at Monza seems something way in the past.

I like Gasly's performance lately, while Tsunoda seems to just not fit in.

Ah, and Aston Martin is the disappointment of current season for me.



For me it was not a great race. It was not bad, but not great either. The good thing is that this result makes the fight for the Driver's Championship remain tight.

The lines between Max and Hamilton for this first battle in the desert are tight being over 2x for each driver to win in the P1 & Qualifying.
I believe it is because Lewis has an advantage on these middle eastern tracks.

Doing so well for so long, using all his experience defying his age to remain at the top might make him one of the greatest drivers to ever drive F1.  Part of it might be technology and the car itself aiding him in his skills and certainly we know safety has improved gigantically over the years but also alot of it is Hamilton outperforming.  Nobody can say he doesnt deserve the season win at this point, he overcame enough set backs along the way.

Aston Martin is the disappointment of current season for me.

Its unfortunate, the company overall needs good news and a return on their investment.

I wouldn't be so categorical. The next race may clarify the approximate disposition at this point in time. According to the latest races, Mercedes looks better and there is no longer the superiority of Red Bull cars that was observed a few races ago. I would say more that Mercedes, on the contrary, had a clear advantage and Hamilton's engine change at the last stage in Mexico was almost in the most unpleasant way for Lewis. Why did I use the word "almost"? Because after all, Max scored an extra three points for the sprint. And so, taking into account the new engine, Hamilton has excellent chances for the title. And if Bottas also helps... Well, of course not by the famous entry into Verstappen's car, I didn't mean that And just taking second place, pushing Max away from Lewis. At least, judging by the last races, Bottas also has a competitive car at the level of Verstappen.
