Feels so bad to see Team Secret doing so bad in Dota 2 pro scene. Since Nisha left them , nothing good happened to this org and I'm afraid Puppey doesn't current understand how Dota 2 actually works right now and I think this is the main factor of why this team doesn't perform great at all. Also , worth to mention that they changed their team 3 times since Nisha left and nothing worked.

I'm starting to think that it's the same situation with Kuro and Nigma and we can see now that Nigma is doing A LOT better right now and they actually qualify for most of the Tier 1 tournaments. Maybe , same needs to happen with Secret and Puppey...

Yep it was the same situation all over again but Nigma isnt any better as well. The main reason why Nigma qualified to Tier 1 tournament was because they are from MESWA region and the only top teams on MESWA is Falcons so basically Nigma should be able to qualifiy all qualifiers because Falcons should be getting direct invitation

I am looking for some details if there is dota 2 in the Perfect World Shanghai Majors since it always comes with dota 2. But it looks this time, it's only for CS2?

The last Shanghai Major organized by Perfect World was in 2016 so its been a while. Aside from that, Perfect World used to organized DPC for CN region but with DPC gone I guess they move out to cs2

So tomorrow we are getting straight to the grand final huh? BetBoom vs Falcons. Parivision get the top spot on Group B but there is no way that they are better than Betboom on Playoffs. Totally scream over 2.5 maps on this though, classic over 2.5 maps when two favourites play against each other especially on upper bracket

Just watch both the beginning matches for both the Bangkok and Shanghai tournaments for dota2&cs2 and had a very successful time in betting for both of them on a mighty esports acca!
All my bets have cashed in and now have enough to continue on this run for the rest of the these tournaments.

With the odds currently at 2.10~ it's always worth the shot assuming they could quickly plummet once we see Kuro standing in again.

Miracle played but I was worried for nothing. Turned out that Team Spirit was way superior compared to Nigma. I should have known that Team Liquid would win 2-0 against SR, should have taken that as my bet as well but oh well I put bigger stake than usual on Team Spirit -1.5 so thats enough for today. Even though they lost against Team Liquid, their series produced one of the best Dota games played in this tournament.

My ticket is on Faze to win as they're still getting underestimated by the bookies and I don't see Team Spirit as a slight favorite, they still rely a lot on donk while FaZe has more reliable players.

PARIVISION vs. Team Liquid - ESL One Bangkok 2024 - Grand Finals

Who do you have guys ? currently the score is 2-1 for Parivision and hopefully they will win this map as well and win the series 3-1 because Liquid proved to be just a lucky team who won TI because 33 was on their team. Besides this , this Liquid team really looks like a Tier 2 team right now who has brilliants games from time to time. It's also damn time for a new Esports org to win right ? I'm getting tired to see same teams winning in Dota 2 and Cs2 for so many years already... .

Per example in Cs2 it's in vain to think you are going to see top 4 teams without Spirit , Faze , Navi or G2 and it's gonna be same story in 2025 as well...

That's esports there, the strongest have their fall backs too. I was quite disappointed but gotta move on. Parivision won the tournament for ESL One Bangkok 2024. And while this is happening, in Mongolia happened the MESA Invitational and Talon Esports won the tournament there. These are the winners with prizes, the others in the lower places don't have any.

I'm glad I saw Team Mouz again in such a tournament.

I'll start betting in some matches now with small bets and will focus in playoffs matches.
Playoffs will start on December 22 - December 26, 2024

No I haven't really been big into DOTA2 but since starting this eSports thread had been following the bigger tournaments more and more because I usually put a bet on those matches to coincide with the ones I have already selected in CS2 so to place in a parlay.
Thanks for bringing that up and it looks like the DOTA2 teams play throughout the Christmas day while CS do not and actually take a two week break to celebrate New Years day all at the same time.

I found a chance to watch the Grand Final series in Shanghai Major thankfully and I loved especially the last map.    Both teams did literally everything they could in the final rounds. Round 23 was legendary though and I believe it was one of the bests in CS e-sports history. FaZe showed a good resistance but sh1ro still clutched it in the last round to become the champion.

After hearing about karrigan's sensitive condition I really wanted him to win the trophy for his brother to tell the truth. But I'm afraid he couldn't.

Well good luck on this then, its a tier 3 tournament so some upsets could happen and the odds for favourites might not be as good as you wanted it to be

Nah those are online tier 3 tournaments and majority of the teams that joined the tournaments are tier 2 and below so yeah. As for the top teams and tier 1 tournaments, most are taking breaks until New Year. We got one tier 1 tournament on late January 2025 though so yeah pretty much most players are already having holiday soon around 23rd December right after the last qualifiers

It might not look like it, but they should be entering the offseason even if it's only for a month or so since the Major just ended and it's the best time for teams to make changes before Katowice next January.

The CS2 scene barely gets any off time because of the constant tournaments being held every month between Blast, ESL and PGL unlike the other esports scene where they have longer breaks before the next tournament kicks off.

The retake by FaZe in round 23 was crazy, that should've been Team Spirit's round and somehow Ropz and Rain pulled it back. It was unfortunate that it didn't go into overtime as broky was caught off guard from the smoke gap.

Just had placed a bet on CS2 and all there were from European Pro League division 2 play matches going on.
That is about it.
Had looked for something in DOTA2 but there were nothing going on. Not until the tournament that @GreatArkansas had mentioned in their previous post along with the scheduled teams who are participating but starting next week.

Later is the start of the FISSURE PLAY closed qualifiers for Americas, Western Europe and Southeast Asia. While on 23 for China and Eastern Europe.

I've seen that there's another roster change for Team Secret, they're now taking parker from South America as their stand-in position 1. But if they find success, for sure they'll take him.

The machete is sharpened. We're back in action for the FISSURE Belgrade 2025 qualifiers, with an updated roster featuring Parker and MikSa as stand-ins.

Mouz won their match yesterday against Passion UA and quite easily.
Today they go up against a team I am not too familiar with in Dragon Esports. But it is a best of 3 so it will more likely go to Mouz as they are playing on a very good run up til the playoffs.
