We have the teams listed who have made it through to the Perfect World tournament in Shanghai which begin on November 30th announced:

cs2 tournament after Blast Slam end huh. This would be my go to tournament before ESL One starts !

Just started watching Day one of the Shanghai Major Opening stages over at PGL official channel:

The match is between Team Liquid and a team that I had never seen play before - Wildcard.
Currently they are 9-5 for Liquid so it should be a short map.

I missed this, damn internet. I lost my service for like 4 days and never saw what happened on that Opening Stage. Anyway, I'd be starting on the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: Elimination Stage since I missed those games.


The lines are not open yet at sportsbet.io so I guess we will be waiting until they input it there.

Which teams do you think will win the first-round matches?

Elimination stage with BiG vs Complexity in 3.5 hours from now then MiBR vs Flyquest & Wildcard vs Passion UA.

The MongolZ had a clean run after meeting the easier teams like Rare Atom, MIBR, and GamerLegion. If one of these teams stole a map away, they'd still have no issues winning the next as they're just a step above these teams anyway.

The first series already ended with BIG winning the series everyone on their side pulled their weight while Complexity had to rely on Elige and hallzerk for the most part.

There's no clear favorite on the next series, but after watching FlyQuest yesterday, I want to say MIBR has a good shot at claiming their ticket to the next stage.

Great pick on MiBR at those odds. I had them around there too. I think 1.82x right before the first match between BiG and Complexity played.
But I put Complexity to win when they were up one map @1.26x and parlayed it with MiBR.
They ended up losing to BiG who are onto the Perfect World championship later in the week.

I always go with Team Spirit in these international tournaments as they are usually have solid gameplay against the rest of the other region's best CounterStrike squads.

While waiting for the ESL One Bangkok. The European Pro League S21 is now on its grand finals. The participating teams are NaVi Junior and Passion UA. I've taken a bet for this grand finals. 1.32 for NaVi Jr. Not bad at all so I took.

Wasn't watching the match but from where I checked the match results they stated it was a 3-0 Navi Juniors win.
I didn't watch it because I hadn't known about this tournament happening. I guess these U21 matches aren't widely streamed on youtube. I think would of been easier to find a livestream on Twitch instead.
But heard they were having issues lately so this platform that was made for gamers might not be around to grab these dota2 or cs2 streams from very much longer.

Wow! I am amazed.
Armored Core - I played that one in Playstation 1 console for a very long time when I was a kid.
Megaman - C'mon who will not play that game in Gameboy and PS1 too.
Unreal Tournament - Oh yeah, old school Quake like game.
Then they used John Wick (Keanu Reeves) and Superman (Henry Cavill) in the trailers. A must-watch for gamers.

Today I was wondering how many of the same fans of rare eSports betting as me are present in the topic. I mean that I only bet on Dota 2 International, and as you understand, I do it once a year. And that's it. Apart from that, I don't bet on sports and am not interested in eSports Dota at all. But I adore the International and have been following the events that unfold there very closely for several years.

Yeah, I've won that bet.  
That was 3-0 for Navi Junior, they didn't even sweat with that grand finals.

I think would of been easier to find a livestream on Twitch instead.

There were a lot of streams not just in Twitch and YouTube, if there were some problems that these streaming sites are encountering, I just watch it through the game client of dota 2.

Round 3 of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024: Elimination Stage

It's so weird to see MIBR in the 2-0 bracket after completing two shocking upsets on both 3dmax and NaVi, it'd be one hell of a run if they somehow end it with an upset against Vitality later today.

Instead of backing a team today, i'm changing it up with the total rounds on the Team Liquid vs. Furia match. Both teams had close games yesterday so a 13-9 scoreline should be easy if they don't make a mistake with the map bans.

Best of 2 is what I've said one of the moments that I get most of the losses but it's also a challenge for me to get some which I enjoy. For the first day of matches, these are what we've got for both group A and B.

Same, it's not a bet friendly format because of the three way market, but at least we're getting nice odds on most of the series.

I'm sticking with the top teams (Team Falcons, Team Liquid, etc) that has an easier matchup assuming they don't drop these unnecessary maps. I still don't have the confidence to back the mediocre teams unless they could put up decent results and steal maps from good teams.

I also got burned by BetBoom in their second series and thought it would be another casual draw, but Team Liquid got mowed down in every lane and was constantly pressured by BetBoom.

The Faze series was a banger, I almost thought FURIA would send Faze home then it suddenly took a quick 180 in the second map causing FURIA to lose momentum and the decider map.

Navi losing to Heroic was probably the biggest surprise we had in this major, their overall performance throughout the elimination stage isn't on the same level compared to the previous tournaments they've been in.

We're never wrong with Team Falcons, they're always at the best every time the tournament has started and beats the most out with 2-0. They're like the Gaimin Gladiators of this era and season.

That's nice, congratulations with that 2.37x parlay. I'm flattered that you even mentioned me and also took the same bet as mine because I'm mostly just betting based on what I think and feel together with the odds but sometimes I think they also work just as how they have ended up.

The last Shanghai Major organized by Perfect World was in 2016 so its been a while. Aside from that, Perfect World used to organized DPC for CN region but with DPC gone I guess they move out to cs2

So tomorrow we are getting straight to the grand final huh? BetBoom vs Falcons. Parivision get the top spot on Group B but there is no way that they are better than Betboom on Playoffs. Totally scream over 2.5 maps on this though, classic over 2.5 maps when two favourites play against each other especially on upper bracket

It does sound like a DOTA2 type tournament and as @arallmuus had mentioned above it seems to have transferred it's title over to CS2 instead for this year.

Just watch both the beginning matches for both the Bangkok and Shanghai tournaments for dota2&cs2 and had a very successful time in betting for both of them on a mighty esports acca!
All my bets have cashed in and now have enough to continue on this run for the rest of the these tournaments.

Falcons seem to have fallen today and Team Liquid had fallen in their match against Team Spirit in Perfect World.

Feels so bad to see Team Secret doing so bad in Dota 2 pro scene. Since Nisha left them , nothing good happened to this org and I'm afraid Puppey doesn't current understand how Dota 2 actually works right now and I think this is the main factor of why this team doesn't perform great at all. Also , worth to mention that they changed their team 3 times since Nisha left and nothing worked.

I'm starting to think that it's the same situation with Kuro and Nigma and we can see now that Nigma is doing A LOT better right now and they actually qualify for most of the Tier 1 tournaments. Maybe , same needs to happen with Secret and Puppey...
