The world cup has been filled with so many unexpected turn out of events and most football fans' prediction is turning out to be false most especially those who bet heavily in favor of the their preferred team, with the outcome of most of the matches turning out to be unfavorable for most of the big countries that were widely celebrated for their previous world cup performance Spain in one hand and Argentina, on the other hand, give me a high level of worries in this season.
To this point, I can freely predict what their points will be in the coming weeks ahead as the world cup approaches its climax with most smaller teams pushing their way up on the table.

Yeah indeed, we have had a lot of surprising end results (it seems a lot more than 4 years ago). Today both Belgium and Germany failed to qualify for the next rounds. I doubt many people saw this coming and would have predicted it.

I could not believe this reality, Japan won Spain, Germany won Costa Rica. Everyone expected Spain to lead, but Japan become victorious in their group with 6 points, followed by Spain with 4 points. Germany also with 4 points but Spain scored more goals. It is surprising that Germany has been disqualified from world cup so fast in group stage.

This is why this world cup becomes more interesting because of many unexpected results. With a win against Spain, Japan proves that they didn’t won against Germany by luck only, they are really meant to go into the next round. There’s a lot of disappointment though with Germany as we are talking about the powerhouse but this is sports, and unexpected things can happen anytime and we must accept it and be better next world cup.

everyone didn't expect Japan to be able to beat Spain and Germany, even though Japan lost to Costa Rica 1-0,, and it was really a very tight score between Spain and Germany, if only Germany scored more goals then Spain would be eliminated. the final result of the group E stage is really confusing lol.

Things really changed in this world cup, countries that haven't been performing well in previous world cup's are really doing well this year, which is making it kind of difficult to even predict matches between small and big countries, I don't believe Japan will defeat Germany and Spain which make them qualify for the round 16 in their group. Germany was just not ready for this world cup. How could they have been after loosing there first game to Japan, come to the second and get a draw against Spain and then in the third, the managed to secure a win. How was any of the going to matter matter they left there fate in the hands of another serious opposition?

What a night! We saw all the details that make football beautiful tonight. It was unclear until the last moment whether Germany, Japan, Costa Rica or Spain would advance to the next round. We watched two matches with a very high threshold of excitement. I really wanted Costa Rica to surprise and go to the next round, but they failed. Also, Germany's early elimination from the cup was also a big surprise for everyone. I certainly did not expect such a result.

In the end it did come as a surprise again and again for the world cup. After a few hours ago, Belgium is now Germany, who have to go home early, even though they are one of the favorites to qualify for the next round.
Japan really played really well and I like the way they played in this game. with this result they are the second asian club to qualify and i like this.

Costa Rica vs Germany This is the match we saw really great game. I didn't expect Germany to play so well. I thought Germany might win this match by 2 goals but it didn't happen. Germany won the match by 4 goals. And Costa Rica scored 2 goals in this match.

Do you know that from initial people didn't believe that costa Rica will at least score 1 goals, but they surprised some people concerning scoring 1 goals, but i believe that Germany will defeat even score above four goals, but it's unbelievable for base on their prediction concerning the match because of the odd of costa Rica, since i have not have double mind that Costa Rica will defeat Germany, expect it's people that have not be watching the matches

Each team of Germany and Costa Rica shared the time on dominating the game. I mean sometimes it is Germany which is basically controlling the game and scoring while Costa Rican are watching, and other times, Costa Rica is controlling without feeling the presence of Germany.

Germany has tried as hard as it can to get victory points. but it is indeed difficult for Germany to get into the last 16. have the same points as Spain, but they are not productive enough to score goals.

Morocco defeated Canada and became the group champion in the last sixteen. Canada's exit was already confirmed. Morocco, Croatia and Belgium were on the way to the second round from Group "F" with 4 points. Croatia secured the second round by drawing with Belgium in a match of the day.  In the other match of the group, Morocco defeated Canada by 2-1 goals and won 7 points in 3 matches, becoming the group champion and advancing to the last sixteen. My best wishes to the Moroccan football team as they have secured the last 16.

For me personally, this is still shocking information, despite the fact that the situation with the non-exit from the group to the playoff stage has already been repeated three times in a row in the FIFA World Cup. It's just that a team like Germany shouldn't push itself to the point where your fate is decided in the last round and not everything depends on you and your efforts. It seems that the German national team made some efforts on its part, winning its match and only losing the Spanish national team with its loss did not allow the German national team to continue the fight. It's good they even got eliminated at this point, because if they move to the round of sixteen, you don't want to see a mess they would have gotten themselves into. No matter what the statistics were, they just needed to score goals and survive until the end.

Pulisic took a knee to the abdomen/groin area when scoring in yesterday's match. He did get up and finish the 1st half but did not return after halftime. He officially was listed as a groin injury, and it has not been determined whether he will play in the game vs Netherlands yet. The US does depend heavily on his abilities, but if they can manage the good defense and get 1 score they have a shot to beat the Netherlands.

on every side (front, center, and back) the Netherlands are almost without gaps, they are very tough. if US only rely on Pulisic then I doubt US can win from them. US is the underdog team in this round of 16,, I agree with you, if US wants to have a chance then they have to strengthen their defense, that's the only strategy they have to do.
