They fully deserved to qualify from their World Cup group for the first time in 20 years, largely in part to a first-half performance where they blew away Ecuador, who came into the match knowing they only needed a point to progress. I watched that USA vs. Iran match and i have to say it was a pretty boring match. The United states were stronger in the first half and therefore their goal was totally deserved at that point. In the second half Iran was stronger because obviously they desperately needed to score a goal in order to advance into the knockout stage. They never really managed to create a lot of pressure though and they only had like 1 or 2 good chances in the second half to score, which is not really that much given the fact that they were the attacking team almost all the time.
I think both teams showed a pretty weak performance today and the luckier one went through. With a performance like today the US will have 0 chance against the Netherlands though.

Congratulations to USA for winning the game against Iran with a narrow score. But I also appreciate the efforts of Iran, they kept trying until the last minute. Meeting the Netherlands will certainly be a difficult match for the USA, but sometimes the Netherlands also finds it difficult to play against a country that is not seeded. Losing Mane at the start of the World Cup event clearly made many people a little pessimistic about them and of course I am also included in this but they proved their capacity by successfully finishing in second place in the group phase. This season is undoubtedly a great season for Rashford.
The young guy has tried his best this season by scoring good amount of goals for his club Manchester United, he did not end there he brought his good form to the World Cup where he has netted for England three times in the group stage.
This could be the beginning of another Rashford.
Overall performance England has a very nice squad depth and they could be the Champion of this world cup.
You can imagine that their top line was virtually replaced leaving only Kane. Sterling and Saka were benched for rashford and Foden and yet England  got winning

Having too many quality players on the bench isn't a major concern to me, but not knowing when to utilize such players to win a game is. We have seen in matches that a team might have potential players on the field and on the bench and still fail to win; this is quite upsetting to consider. The England coach had the opportunity to have such good players on his team, and his ability to utilise them effectively to win a match is what is most crucial in this scenario.
