When Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia I thought they would not make the top 16. But I was wrong. Argentina not only managed to find their game, but also showed us some beautiful football. I was betting on Mexico making the play-offs, but I was wrong, my bet didn't pay off.

I watched that game I felt sad to see Saudi Arabia continue to struggle in the first half to score goals but the defense from Mexico was so strong that in the first half, at the start of the second half mexico took chances to score at the start of the second half, at that time Saudi Arabia's game started to falter because Mexico's points automatically increased by 3 until Mexico added another goal to two blanks, the onslaught of Mexican players almost half the field of play until Saudi Arabia had the opportunity to score a goal in the final minutes of extra time in the second half to eliminate both teams for qualified in the group stage into the last 16

At least, Saudi Arabia have tried their best in this world cup. beating Argentina, is a great achievement for the Arab national team.  although in the end, they had to be eliminated without being able to advance to the next round. The biggest moment for Saudi Arabia in this world cup is that they beat Argentina with Messi. Other than that, they had no chance of leaving the group anyway. If you notice, either European or South American countries were successful in the World Cup. There is no country from Africa or Asia that is the champion. Saudi Arabia is a backward country in football and comes from the Asian continent, otherwise there are better quality countries in Europe as football, but they could not come because they were stuck in the quota. For example, there is no Italy. For Saudi Arabia, the dream is over.

Elimination of Mexico was more tragic than Saudi Arabia, only because of goal difference they could not spread their wings to the next round. Poland has the advantage in Group C, even though they lost to Argentina they have the right to go to the knockout round because their goal difference is better than Mexico.

Argentina proved that they are among the strongest teams in this fifa by winning yesterday and no one can question their credibility from just one match in which the lost against Saudia Arabia. 
I was expecting more performances from Saudia Arabia but unfortunately they didn't perform after the first match and are out of the world cup.
Mexico didn't perform good in this world cup and that's why they didn't make it to next round.

Pulisic took a knee to the abdomen/groin area when scoring in yesterday's match. He did get up and finish the 1st half but did not return after halftime. He officially was listed as a groin injury, and it has not been determined whether he will play in the game vs Netherlands yet. The US does depend heavily on his abilities, but if they can manage the good defense and get 1 score they have a shot to beat the Netherlands.

on every side (front, center, and back) the Netherlands are almost without gaps, they are very tough. if US only rely on Pulisic then I doubt US can win from them. US is the underdog team in this round of 16,, I agree with you, if US wants to have a chance then they have to strengthen their defense, that's the only strategy they have to do.

Mexico had a lot of desires, it's just that Saudi Arabia is now playing better football than it was a few years ago.
