I think everyone except the Brazilians are happy with Brazil's elimination. People are almost always for the underog, but from a sporting point of view it is also easier to become world champion if Brazil is no longer involved. After the disappointment in 2018, this was bad again. Croatia had 2 chances the whole game, Brazil about 6. It was a miracle that it was still 0-0 after regular time. The way for Argentina seems to be open to the final, but then you will first have to beat the Netherlands, no easy task either. Croatia - Netherlands would be a nice semi-final.

Great bro, congrats to Croatia for the win against brazil, this match, in my opinion, is very dramatic and tense, this is beyond the expectations of many outsides, Croatia did a very good game in this match. is it possible that Croatia will go to the grand final like the previous world cup?

Your country is very lucky to beat a famous and strong team like Brazil to qualify for the semi-finals. Few people actually expected such a game.  Not many people thought that Croatia would play so well and beat Brazil. The next game, Argentina vs Netherlands, is less than 1 hour away to start . If Argentina wins, Croatia will again face another famous team like Brazil, that is Argentina. Let's see what happens in that match

Luck has nothing to do with the win today. I know that everyone says that penalty shootout is a lottery. But you can't call it luck when a team wins several penalty shootouts in a row.

I already guessed that Brazil, which many people predicted would win the world cup, actually had to go home because they lost on penalties to Croatia, people underestimated Croatia but did not realize that Croatia had a good journey from the start playing in the world cup

This world cup tournament has certainly got more tricks under its sleeves than we coukd possibly have imagined. Never for once have I thought of Vrazil being eliminated and just before I was done projecting them to be the favourite contenders for the title, Croatia deemed it fit to eliminate them.

After the Neymar Jnr's goal, I thought it was all over for Croatia but these guys just ddnt give up. They worked there way right into the Brazil's box to get there equaliser and dragged the game to a penalty.

Good enough for them, they've got a good pair of gloves in there goal post to come through for the team in penalty shoots. This guy Livakovic is just too good!

I also congratulate Croatia for beating Brazil in a penalty shootout. I have to admit that Croatia's game today was a success to match Brazil's game, especially in defense they were very solid and that was inseparable from the brilliance of the Croatian goalkeeper today. Dominik Livaković is a player who has saved many Croatian goals from conceding.
In 15 minutes of extra time Brazil took the lead through Neymar's successful penetration tricking the Croatian goalkeeper. But Croatia responded swiftly the next 15 minutes. So forcing the game continued with penalties. Rodrygo, who advanced as the first kicker, failed to find the net against Dominik Livaković, which made the next kicker from Brazil weigh more. And it was a shot that hit the post and ensured victory for Croatia.

I never really expected Brazil to knocked out like this by Croatia. Brazil's failure to win this match is very disappointing, especially for those who support them to win this tournament. On paper Brazil were the favourites, but they were very nervous throughout the match so Croatia really controlled the game well. Actually Brazil should be able to defend victory when they are ahead, but Croatia never wanted to give up and today all Croats are proud of what they achieved. Congratulations to Croatia, they are dark horses who have made it to the semi-finals so far.

Croatia vs Brazil I didn't expect Brazil to play such a bad game. I can't remember Brazil losing this match. I thought Brazil could win this match by 2 goals but it didn't happen. Unbelievable and unexpected result. Brazilians, including players, staff, spectators, and most people watching this match were all in shock!
I said before I won't be surprised if Croatia won after seeing how they started the game but I thought that Brazil still could win. Just wow, the most favourite team to win this version of World Cup was eliminated in an early stage

It wasn't unbelievable but rather unexpected. Brazil tipped to play the finals have been eliminated. I don't agree with you that its an early stage the last eight isn't early. Yes Levakovic is a hero for Croatia tonight, for sure, if it wasn't for him there would be no penalty shootout.
Brazilians probably did not expect such a stubborn game. This is generally the problem of South American national teams, they are very dependent on the mood.

Unpredictable with Croatia success lead to semifinal after beating Brazil trough penalty kick, I was bored watching this games because at 90 minutes not any attempt created by both national team. Have excited at extra minutes added actually when Neymar scoring goals but they loss huge pressure before Croatia make it draw.

Actually Croatia always have lucky moment when match draw and continue with penalty kick, last match beaten Japan trough penalty kick and Croatian goal keeper Dominik Livaković always made save. Didn't expect Croatia to beat Brazil. All game Brazil were able to create dangerous moments and dominate the match. When they scored, I was sure that Croatia wouldn't have the energy to score a return goal. They have the oldest team in this championship. But when it came to the penalty shootout, I knew Brazil was out of luck. The point is that Brazil scored the goal in the 105 minutes and when they know they had to defend for only 15 more minutes why they kept the defense too open? Why Brazil did not go all in defensive and win the match? I think Brazil missed the trick here and lost the match that they should have won.

Bad luck to Brazil as they were one of the teams who could have and were capable of winning this world cup but they were eliminated in the quarterfinal by a weaker team Croatia.
