It's easy to monitor the offline cockfighting they can limit the arena's operating hours and those who can get in, while online they have no control over who can play and there are no operating hours you can play as long as you like, there's no problem in funding you can go to a convenience store there is an atm like machine you fund your online wallet and fund your e-sabong account and you can play anytime, any place and ay your own convenience, I've read a lot of fo people losing their jobs because they can easy money but they also lose a lot.

I agree, there are many valid reasons from that grounds and the government needs to act to avoid more cases to happen, they are now closed, the operation of online sabong is no longer legal and the proceedings for every file cases will continue, if those cases will be resolve maybe we will see some considerations from the government, just speaking on my own opinion though. Don't worry mate, cockfighting in the Philippines is still legal in only specific venues around the Philippine archipelago and this coliseums won't operate everyday just like the traditional time. They are only banning the online sabong or they rather call it as E-Sabong because people can have an easy access on its site as long as you're just 18 years old above and have an online platform called GCash.

I have read somewhere the newly elected president and its administration will still ban the online sabong just like what the outgoing administration did. Sure the Philippines need the revenue but they cannot afford the consequence.

Before there was no E-Sabong here in the Philippines that's why I think the revenue coming here will be easily covered by the government. Supposed to be one of the good sources of revenue for the government during the pandemic but ended up in a worst result to the lives of people.

I don't see a declined revenue here because like I said, the hype of e-sabong was just around 2 years in operation here.

People here already accept that there's no e-sabong right now because there are still lots of e-gambling here as an alternative.
