Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the
subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

So what algo? All the pre register pools look to be setting up for scrypt but title says x11... Please not scrypt, I don't want to go back to scrypt, Ya can't make me, I won't do it... If I hafta  Considering the defects of Scrypt. Finally decided to use the X11. Cool! I like X11, bit of controversy over X11 though. Some have a set against it. Hope this doesn't have a negative effect the coins popularity. Other good algo's for the GPU miners are Groestl and HEAFTY1. Prolly to late to switch now though. |

So what algo? All the pre register pools look to be setting up for scrypt but title says x11... Please not scrypt, I don't want to go back to scrypt, Ya can't make me, I won't do it... If I hafta x11 |

Darkcoin has been pretty popular, I don't think it will be an issue. |

This coin will crush BC and Mint if done right. The potential is there let's see what the team can do after launch.

Any progress on the logo? I hope something's in the works - launch is just around the corner now. Maybe something blue-green to match the website/OP, or perhaps blue and gray to match the wallet?

Well based on that analogy it's a superior BC. Edgecoin features an AIO wallet, several launch features, fair distribution, and most importantly (for many) it's one of the first solid x11 coins. What does x11 matter when a coin is going to be PoS pretty quickly anyway? Or is that not the case here. |
