is there an exchange ready on launch?

Nothing major, no. Don't want any day one dumps.

the fewer the better but we'd need to list on at least one larger exchange like poloniex.com. i would like to see us stay away from mintpal and cryptsy initially.

what about the in-built trading in client supported by cryptsy? will it be available on day 1?

It will (be functional), but we likely won't be listed on cryptsy on launch. So, it won't.

it is possible to get onto C-CEX on day 1 if voting got high enough or someone paid to vote https://c-cex.com/?id=vote currently at about 3 votes.

smallish exchange but still pretty good little exchange. It's not amazing volume wise, but never the less its an exchange with a possibility of being added on release

If I may ask, approximately how much EDGE coins would my investment of 1.86 LTC get me? I'm assuming the investor list is inaccurate as you said its not being updated. Thanks! Also when the client does come out, do we just shoot you another email that we used to confirm txid to claim the IPO?

Exchange is fine I would imagine, its really just another Bitcoin wallet. It may take longer than if you were sending from a wallet, but it should work just fine.

He's correct. However, it's generally safer to send it to your wallet first.

Why? You own the account, so what would be the point? I do agree its better to send from a wallet, but I wouldn't go through the trouble of sending from exchange to wallet then invest.
