The way Fenerbahçe started the season I thought they would win the title. But they failed to perform consistently. And now they are 4 points behind Galatasaray. But they still have a chance to win the title. While Fenerbahçe's forward players are capable of performing very well, their defense is weak. This is why they are not able to play well consistently. Fenerbahçe should now focus more on defense. I would say Fenerbahçe can win the championship if they can tighten up the defense.

Also another thing I learned, Turkish teams do not have "owners", they have presidents who are elected, that is actually amazing, wish our teams were like that too.

It is difficult for Super Lig teams to keep up consistent good performances and win. However, Galatasaray are now performing well and have managed to continue their winning streak. So it is being said that the favorite team for the title so far is Galatasaray. Galatasaray is 4 points ahead of Fenerbahçe. But if Galatasaray lose trucks and drop points in a few games, we might see Fenerbahçe at the top of the table. I think teams could find replacing players at these stages. Like for example younger players could get the positions and with that type of help they could keep winning but also have a chance to get the fitness back up. I am not saying this weeks league games should be played with younger talent to give others a chance to take a break, but the cup games should be like that.

If you are however wondering why they are not, there isn't any European games yet, Galatasaray is not in any of them and Fener still has some time to go, which is why it's obvious that we are not going to see them get tired with only league and cup games that quickly, will probably take some time.

And they will play 18 more matches. There is no guarantee that Galatasaray will be able to continue their streak in the next 18 matches. Also played very well at Fenerbahçe. They are second in the table though. However, the performance of their players is excellent now. I Bulls Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are equally likely to win the title.

It's more about how the teams look and not the results today. If galatasaray had an 11 game winning streak and still 3rd or something because they lost all their games before that, then it would make sense to not trust it, but it would be the same result because they are playing so well, they would have a chance to win the title. I am just saying that they figured something out, and that means they are doing fine and could win it.

Other teams are not playing as well as Galatasaray does, nobody had 11 game winning streak, doubt many had 5 in a row, which is why it's quite important to acknowledge how good they are, and why they could end up winning it this year.

Galatasaray is in best position and has the best team on paper and they are showing it in the league. But not all teams can keep momentum in the league all the time so we can see a drop in their form soon. But they are looking currently the best and it will be a race between them and Fenerbahce until the very end.

They do not like the transfer policies of the president of Fenerbahçe. I really don't remember watching a quality striker in Fenerbahce in the last two or three years. Quality forwards and playmakers such as Anelka and Alex played in this team before. The fans are angry because they don't see the same quality players.

I don't know where are you from. However, elected presidents do not care about their mistakes. In addition, they act populist and make plenty of transfers without thinking about the financial statement. That's why almost all Turkish clubs are struggling with debt. The Turkish Football Federation has put transfer limits on clubs in recent years. The government supports the survival of the clubs by removing some of their taxes. So, elected presidents don't deliver as good results as they seem.

the truth is that Fenerbahçe is not well, you just have to see that in their last game against Gaziantep they had 70% of ball possession and were the first to score a goal after 8 minutes, something that even looked like they would easily win a match since Gaziantep are not a stable and strong team, but to the great surprise Fenerbahçe conceded a goal and to make matters worse in the 70th minute the Gaziantep player had a red card but until the end of the game Fenerbahçe was not managing to score a goal, that bothered me leads to understand how Fenerbahçe is not prepared to win the league

After terrible end of last season now having amazing fight back into this season specially just after 18th round they are leading by four points from second spotted Fenerbahçe which is not good enough for having chance to win this year good change of quality and performance by Galatasaray with this all now they can improve their quality for the next season's Champions League spot as well because they are having experienced players and good winning combination which can keep this momentum for leading the league table and win title this season.

Their attack is strong enough which can destroy any defense in Turkish League with in every match they are doing the good number of goals and their defense is also having good players which are doing impressive job now in tomorrow they are going to host Antalyaspor which not able to win any match from their last five games could be easy win for Galatasaray.

If you were asked to choose which team would win the Super Lig title, which team would you prefer? Galatasaray or Fenerbahce? Of course, without looking at the current situation in the standings. Personally, I think Fenerbahce will win the Super Lig. There's no particular reason other than the consistency of their recent performance.
