What is the outright odds of Liverpool finishing in top 4 guys?

Around 1.50, same I gave to Hhampuz before the international break, fully expecting us to beat a shitty Forest team
My gut tells me we still make it, the team is too good not to. The fact that we're still really close to Top 4 with 6 losses tells you all you need to know.

I think Chelsea rounds the top 4 - so Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Chelsea. I think they finish the season in that order as well.

I would if I didn't have that bet with HH already. I don't trust us that much this season.

Chelsea did look better recently but you have a difficult upcoming schedule, whereas ours looks quite easy.
On pure 'eye test' I'd say Chelsea currently looks better but I think LFC recovers a bit and closes that 5-points gap in the next few gameweeks.

Bottom line - both teams should be in the top 4 this season, and I think they take spots 3 and 4.

It's crazy. I think you guys actually play better without Palmer this season. He looks like he would be more suited to Love Island UK than the Premier League right now. (or at least playing FIFA in his bedroom all day with Jadon Sancho.)

I think he might rotate the team, perhaps not heavily like funky Guardiola did yesternight... for PL teams it's going to be a really busy 1+ month window so Arsenal can't afford to start losing able bodies, although they've got a couple of their guys back which I'd expect to be in contention tonight.

I might likely be keeping him regardless of what happens this weekend, he's not going to AFCON so he'll remain a handful hold, especially when the likes of Sarr and Mbeumo are no longer an option, and all he needs is just 1 goal people will start buying him over again.

Last week I dropped quite a bit in the rankings, so I’ll be trying to catch up and get back into the top ten.

The way Guardiola rotated was really interesting. He risked it too much despite not having a very difficult Premier League match ahead. I also think the same about Arteta and I hope Saka is rested as much as possible.

Barcelona is just surviving on old glory; that game was way too easy for Chelsea yesterday. Even Sunderland will crush Barcelona from how they played.

I think, to an extent, it reflects the top level at which the English Premier League is right now against other leagues.

He will likely make a few changes, maybe MLS starting ahead of Caloifori with Martinelli to help out, and other changes like Mosquera starting ahead of Hincapie, and then other players holding their spot until a second-half change for options like Madueke, Nwaneri, maybe Odegaard.

We need the fittest players against Bayern.

As for Caicedo, I was surprised he was rested but I suppose Maresca wanted to ensure he would be fit to play Barcelona in the Champions League. He had the luxury of having a squad of competent players that could cover Caicedo.

I remember having points deducted when I selected players beyond the free transfers because this I was learning how to play the game. I lost points on that but learned something. We all have bad weeks where the points accumulated are nowhere near what were expected. I am sure you will recover. There are many weeks to go therefore you will have a lot of chances to be the top scorer

I think something has happened in my brain over the past week. Not even joking, I opened FPL today and saw, with great surprise, I had Vicario as my keeper... for a few weeks already. Actually shocked I managed 40 points. The rest of you, of course, did even better.  Why do I even continue to play? I clearly am out of my depth, and cannot improve. It is quite strange, even sad, to witness our club falling off so hard.

Arsenal fans have every right to gloat after their performances in the midweek. I am not happy that they won, obviously, but it can be seen that they are now favorites (though in the weird position of not having won the cup before, and not because they used to be some Championship club or anything like City).

I am proud of the team Arteta has built up, a team that can function without most players that we consider key players. In the game, Arteta changed Saka, who used to be a key player for us, and we still maintained the top-level football that we play. Currently I feel the only players in the team that we don't have a proper replacement for are Declan Rice and Zubimendi because I don't feel Norgaard can do the job.

It has been a successful season so far; I just hope it doesn't get into the heads of our players that they now become lazy.

We need to focus on our next games against Chelsea; they are a team in form and can hurt us.

I am happy we will have more options back for that game. Gykores will likely be back to keep like two Chelsea defenders occupied enough to create space for the wingers that will start. I expect top entertainment in that game, not underestimating Chelsea because they have the home advantage.

The only to win at the end of the season is if you have checked the games almost every week to ensure you are selecting the appropriate players that have the highest chance of accumulating points. Sometimes slow changes work and sometimes playing a chip works, it is all about planning. There is an element of this being a time consuming process but this is a lot of fun trying to compete against other members.

Thank you for such a motivational message and for believing in my abilities. I also made several transfers in one week even though I knew I’d have to pay for them with points. Now I realize it was a mistake I won’t repeat in the future. That week I earned exactly the same number of points that I spent on the extra transfers, but my overall position in the ranking still dropped. In general, it’s better to make slow but consistent decisions rather than quick emotional ones.

None at all. Like i said before, i already brought Van Dijk into my team and i regret it. I cannot see any clean sheet in this team, they have conceded 10 goals in their last three games in all competitions, 7 at Anfield. Who knows how many more they'll concede on Sunday at the London Stadium. I will simply drop Van Dijk to the bench for now.

Great incoming fixtures on paper but it's hard to tell which fixtures are good and which are bad for them now that they're just getting trashed every now and then.

Me too. It is so much fun.

That is the beauty of Fantasy, once it takes you there is no going back This is my 10th season and I don't plan to stop anytime soon.

While we are on that topic keep an eye on the Gambling Discussion sub board, I have another Fantasy pool coming up in a day or so. This one will be for the challenge mode of the game. Never properly tried it so this will be a nice opportunity to test it out in a bit shorter and more relaxed competition format. Maybe you get hooked to that as well.
