I actually thought thing would be about to change for Liverpool and I was willing to take a -4 points hit to bring in both Salah and Gakpo, I'd say I dodged a bullet on that one even though I'm a having a horrible round, it would have been worse. I think my only regret would be not bringing in Minteh as there wasn't any indication that Caicedo wouldn't play but somehow he was even an unused substitute, anyways at least now I'm sure about who I should move towards and those I should avoid like a plague.

Liverpool is in decline now, I'm sure Slot will be sacked very soon. I had Salah at the beginning but he had some poor games, and I did my best to sell him and buy Haaland who's in better form. I think it's a bit of a risk to have Liverpool players now. I don't know why Caicedo didn't play, bad news for my team. I need my two players on the bench to help improve this round.

Liverpool assets at this time is a no no. Frankly, I did expect some good performance from Gakpo, given his performance from the international break but, he’s back to his weak team and poor performance. Loosing 3 goals to nothing at home to Nottingham Forest, that’s a different kind of terrible for Liverpool.

Manchester City today didn’t do themselves any good in performance, Haaland missed a good chance in the front of goal, sent it right to Pope’s chest. It’s a good thing we all do have him on default captaincy, nothing for differentials on him.

Liverpool 0-3 Nottingham Forest

That was an amazing scoreline and an amazing game. Liverpool were facing a Nottingham Forest team that was on their third manager of the season and were a prime candidate to be beaten yet they travelled to Anfield and won. Did anybody imagine it was remotely possible?

I was not happy with the first goal. An almost identical situation when Liverpool scored against Manchester City two weeks ago, on that occasions the goal was disallowed but in this game the goal was allowed to stand. After that, Nottingham Forest scored 40 seconds in to the second half and eventually won 3-0.

I think this will be the worst match in the GW. Dyche will put a low block without any intention to attack at Anfield while Liverpool will have 70+ possession and no real chances. In the end there will be one goal from some corner or long range shot and that is it

I had a great gameweek by contrast, but I still find myself stuck in 27th.

My attacking players need to be more clinical.

That is the current Liverpool situation, they can easily be beat and they are conceding goals left, right and center, 20 goals conceded at this point in the Premier League. I brought in VVD this weekend, but i am already regretting that pick.

Chelsea won their game but after Manchester City and Liverpool lost their games, it was a perfect opportunity for Arsenal to extend their lead or for Tottenham to close the gap. Arsenal had a three goal lead before Richarlison scored a stunning goal for Tottenham. The game is 3-1 with around 20 minutes remaining. If Arsenal win today and other teams keep dropping points, this might be the season Arsenal and Chelsea fight for the Premier League.

Everyone moved on from Rogers a long time ago; I just checked our pool and no one have him - he's been poor this season don't let those goals fool you.

It would be fair to say you were lucky, not me... Reece James was substituted in the 45th minute. If that hadn't happened, I would have gotten another 5-8 extra points. By the way, to put your mind at ease, I'd like to say that Lacroix was deducted 2 points due to defcon. 

I have nothing against it - fair play, CP looks great in defence. Just saying that it's really unusual to get 27 points from 2 defenders of the same team in a single GW.
I went for Sarr who is doing nothing, 13 points from the last 5 games. Can't wait for him to go to AFCON, can't make myself sell him because he looks dangerous most of the time.

Thomas Frank might just be another Ange Postecoglu with just some luck in their away games because what was that for a team set up. The game hasn’t started yet but the formation definitely had me putting them off right from the start. As for Arsenal they definitely enjoy the benefit of having a large squad depth today and it could pave way for them to win the league. A win against Chelsea might push them closer to the title but running away with it? I doubt so because this Arsenal could be arsenal by February again if they don’t prepare for everything from now. Next weekend we have the first against the second in the London derby, winner actually gets pump for the tittle .

I am sure there will be many changes to the top five over the course of the season. Both teams are very well positioned, all they have to do is to stay in the top three until the final third of the season and then the best team will win. If Arsenal and Chelsea are chasing the Premier League title while Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham watch from a distance, imagine if it really happened

With the exception of the goal by Richarlison, it was a very bad display and result for Tottenham. Without a doubt Arsenal deserved to win but the I think the Tottenham performance was not as bad as the scoreline suggests.

Next GW looks terrible from current perspective, I have 2 FT's and a plan to make it a little bit better. It includes a LFC defender though, so not sure if that's the best idea I can think of.
Semenyo dropping again tomorrow, people are probably getting rid of him in preparation for AFCON - to save some value. If he misses Sunderland that's a good call actually, but in that case I need to keep Enzo.

Arsenal vs Chelsea is going to be an interesting one because of the standing that the two clubs finds themselves on the table. First and second place and separated by jus six points. So this game is crucial in the sense that a win for Arsenal is helping consolidate their stands on top of the table as they will increase their lead. While a win for Chelsea will reduce the point difference that exists on the top of the table.


This game is actually going to shape were the title is likely going to be. As these two teams which has been old-time rivals will like to rekindle their only rivalry.

I don’t see much of a fighting spirit in this Chelsea team, the few games they’ve managed to scale through has being mainly due to share luck while, the reverse could be said for Arsenal, they put you under so much pressure to earn their points. Chelsea wouldn’t be going for the win against Arsenal, they would be looking to get a draw.
Manchester City might have dropped points against Newcastle United but, they are a much more better title contenders than I can see in this Chelsea team.

This might just turn out to be the season where Arteta frees himself from continually being the runner up.

it was a very bad display and result for Tottenham.

They did not give us the derby match that we expected. Sunderland was a better opponent in our last game than Tottenham was today.

Against Chelsea, I fear Pedro Neto the most; he can be very explosive. I am sure Arteta will have some plans for him or any other option Maresca has planned for that game.

I hope Gyokeres will be back for that game; we have to put the weak Chelsea defense under further duress.
